This sort of thing is exactly why, as a young man, I turned against the American New Deal tradition in which I was raised. American Dems or European SD's, they are less and less likely to penalize downright criminal actions and more and more suspicious of free speech. They are less the protectors of the innocent as the enablers of the wicked. I suppose for me the last straw was when my eldest brother adopted a child because he and my sister-in-law thought they couldn't have one naturally (they had another later), and I considered how "progressive" opinion was pushing for abortion on demand while at the same time condemning the death penalty for those clearly convicted of very heinous crimes.

I fear we're heading for a situation in which the Western social contract is completely broken; when governments no longer protect life, liberty, and property (to use Locke's view even if he was an Englishman rather than an American--but I've never been a chauvinistic hater of furriners, anyway). We'll have to end up back in a Hobbesian state of nature, in which life is solitary, nasty, brutish, and short.May God not enter into judgment with us in such a way!

I've never been a particularly chivalrous man, but this report in which supposedly armed police will not protect women peacefully presenting their opinions strikes me as shocking.

I am trying to understand the Scandinavian nations and their suicidal fanaticism in protecting and fostering Islamadoodles at all costs, above all else and beyond any scope of reason. Why are Norway, Sweden and Denmark intent on self-destruction?

The open door immigration policies that have let in a toxic flood of West hating, sharia implementing thugs who parasitically live off the work and prosperity of the Scandinavians.

Why? What guilt trip is causing this? With my various personal and professional experiences; I look a this multi-national mess and just don't get it.

Scandinavia NEVER had a "colonial history" in the middle-east or even in the regions of Asia dominationed by Islam. It was the Dutch in Indonesia and the British in great India (ie what would one day become Bangladesh and Pakistan).

North Africa? The Spanish, Italians and French were present in muslim North Africa. The British and French were in the mid-East; and Russia in central Asia.

Oh, let me add that the colonization of North Africa by the Europeans; was an act of self defense. For generations the Islamadoodle menace had raped, pillaged and robbed its way across the Meditteranean. Coastal communities of France, Italy, Greece... even as far away as Ireland were being decimated by Islamists.

The colonization by the Europeans stopped the reign of murder and terror. However, the Europeans DID NOT react in a vengeful manner. North African societies were transformed by the Europeans- education, healthcare, culture, infrastructure, agriculture; etc- all were improved by Europe. When some of nations in Europe took an evil turn (Germany and Italy forming the Axis Powers)... the rest of Europe stood up and died in large numbers to protect North Africa during WWII.

Then post-WWII; millions of North African muslims are allowed into Europe and live in prosperity. The muslims return this favor by turning France, Italy, Spain and Britain into hellholes.

Oh yea, once again- this deals with France and Italy... not Sweden or Denmark. So once again why are Scandinavian states involved in this nonsense?

Colonialism? Well, the Scandinavian state's worst acts of colonialism had been taking over OTHER Scandinavian terriroty... Norway and Sweden the part of the same kingdom.... Denmark owning Iceland. When you look beyond the nordic mutual take overs... you have Sweden flexing against Russia of yesteryear and Denmark owning the Virgin Islands BEFORE the USA purchasing them in 1917.

Denmark WAS NOT BRUTAL in its tenure with the Virgin Islands. Which WERE NOT INHABITED BY ISLAMISTS.

In North America... "New Sweden" left its mark in North Dakota, Minnesota, etc. Once again let me point out this Swedish colonial "legacy" DID NOT DEAL WITH MUSLIMS. The peoples being encountered were American Indians.

So once again- why the muslims? Why didn't Denmark invite tens of thousands of Black Afro Carribean people to live in Denark? After all Denmark used to own the Virgin Islands?

Why didn't Sweden try to relocate poverty stricken American Indians into well-to-do neighborhoods of Stockholm or Malmo? After all the Swedes colonized North Dakota and Minnesota in droves.

Yet it is Islam that Scandinavia embraced and brought into their borders by the thousands. Why the guilt Scandinavia? What "travesty" do you feel you have to make amends for? Heck, post WWII Scandinavia poured millions in currency, medicine, and supplies into muslim states. Scandinavians provided teachers, doctors, agriculturalists, science techs, etc-to the muslim nations.

What? Did some Norwegian doctor or Danish teacher eat a bacon sandwich in front of some muslim fool in the 1950s while serving in some sort of UN program overseas... and now the entire Scandinavian region should lay themselves out as a sacrifice?

I am a Native American Indian. I know very well that interaction between European and non European can be brutal. I know too well, that colonialism can have negative situations.

However, this Native American Indian is in absolute SHOCK... why are the Europeans known as Scandinavians having this "guilt trip." Europe HAS NO REASON TO FEEL GUILTY about North Africa muslims. Why.. then are they allowing this culture of murder take over their continent.

Thank you "Traeh" for you input and view as to why Scandinavia wants more and yet more muslims inside her borders.

If the Scandinavians DID WANT MORE IMMIGRANTS to thus work and add to an economy and thus support the tax generated social welfare programs that Scandinavians enjoy.

The problem is the demography. The MUSLIMS ARE NOT WORKING OR ADDING TO THE "money pot." They are greedily sucking up the prosperity of the Scandinavian systems... without contributing to the system. Then there is the destrucion of Scandinavian rights and quality of life being caused by the muslim immigrants.

Want to be multi-racial Scandinavia? Fine... but STOP THE INFLUX OF A PEOPLE THAT WANT TO DESTROY YOU! Especially, when they cause sky rocketing crime and try to enforce their unjust and evil SHARIA LAW everywhere.

I also agree with Traeh, that if Scandinavia wants to be "multi-racial" then I am sure there are plenty of ethnic, cultural or religious groups that would love to live in Scandinavia... AND unlike Muslims... actually contribute to Scandinavian society and culture and NOT TRY TO DESTROY IT.

When I read about muslims and muslim supporters in Scandinavia seeking to destroy this wonderful part of the world- it is so very sad.

It's pretty easy to tell why the Swedish police did nothing to protect the women from the crowd intimidation, and why no arrests were made. The police were scared of the thugs and Muslims.

Before judging them too harshly, however, remember that police have a rough job, and that they depend very much on their hierarchy and on the support of the legal system. Policing can be very dangerous, with the added risk that if a policeman misjudges his (or her) response to an attack, they can also find themselves brought up on criminal charges.

In the United States, most police feel that if they exercise reasonable restraint, they have community support when they respond to force with deadly force. Also, attacking a police official draws a very heavy sentence upon conviction.

My guess is, in Sweden, the police do not have the background of experiencing community support when they have to be violent. Furthermore, the police are aware that in any violent confrontation, it is as likely they will be charged as their attackers. If their attackers are actually convicted, they will receive light sentences.

The community itself must give the police the groundwork of support to put themselves in harms way to protect the rights of law-abiding citizens.

Sometimes I am forced to re-ponder the subject of human depravity, because I observe it in myself and in societies.

How did the people in the time of Noah become so utterly depraved on such a huge scale?

Why did the people not take heed to the noble, observable life of Noah and his verbal warnings to them?

Why were the people unable to recognize and deal with their own moral failings?

How could the people have become so deceived on such a huge scale?

How is it that a person today -- with truth abundantly available -- can become unable to recognize and admit personal and societal depravity?

How can truth be successfully infused into the midst of error, so that truth conquers, overcomes, obliterates error?

I have, over many decades, arrived at some personal answers for these questions based upon the good news, the gospel of Jesus the Messiah, the Christ, the Savior of the world, the good Shepherd, the Way, the Truth, the Life.

All of us must be willing to turn around and change direction in conformity to the truth, leaving error behind. This is called repentance. It is a absolutely necessary for individuals and for societies.

We must continue to ponder questions like these and deal with them using wisdom and strength that are far beyond our own.

When people become deceived and when logic -- good sense -- does not prevail, then we must wage spiritual warfare. We must fearlessly proclaim the entire Truth and we must pray.
