Three years ago today: the Fort Hood jihad massacre

HasanBeard.jpgSoldier of Allah

Three years ago, U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan murdered thirteen Americans at Fort Hood in a bloody jihad massacre.

Hasan was shouting "Allahu akbar" as he fired. He passed out Qur'ans on the morning of the shooting. His business card read SOA, for "Soldier of Allah." He had earlier delivered a power point presentation that was supposed to be a lecture on psychiatry but was instead an exposition of Islam's doctrine of jihad warfare against unbelievers, and a call for Muslims to be excused from the U.S. military -- or else. He had given numerous other indications of his jihadist sentiments.

And the Obama White House classified his jihad murders are "workplace violence."

It was emblematic of their denial regarding the jihad threat in general.

Tomorrow, remember the jihadist Hasan's victims.

three years and still waiting to be shaved!! This is bs...
Let's get the show on the road.

"and a call for Muslims to be excused from the U.S. military -- or else."

The only sensible thing that he has said. Muslims should not be in the United States military. They are seditious, treacherous, untrustworthy, and effectively the enemy within.

despicable excuse for a human being.should have been executed 2 years ago for treason, sedition and murder.his superiors should have been demoted or forced to resign for allowing this to happen.yes, president obama,i will remember this "workplace violence" tomorrow at the polls and god willing, you will be voted out of office for this and many other acts you have allowed to happen,or made sure happen on your watch against the people of the united states of america.

Just let him keep the beard and add desertion to his charges, seeing that the Islamic beard is essentially part of an enemy uniform.

Dear Jihad Watch readers:

I am a military brat. As an adult, I have recorded countless hours of oral histories of American veterans from different eras. I have friends and relatives who have served or are currently serving in the military.

One thing that I have known throughout these decades of interacting with veterans; and that is... Americans in the military are part and parcel property of Uncle Sam.

Don't abuse your body, maintain certain weight requirements, adhere to certain behavior in private and public... the list is endless. Why? Because the soldier, marine, airman, sailor of coast guard recruit exist for the security of the United States and are deployed or utilized as Uncle Sam sees fit.

He or she tow the line of military rules and regulations. This has been the way for generations of American military veterans.

Until now.

This Jihadist monster should be strapped, held down, sedated- whatever it takes for him to be shaved. If he would have been ANYTHING other than an Islamadoodle... the military would have already taken care of this- and the slime ball would have been shaved already.

But what do you expect? This administration forces soldiers to use gloves when handling the Koran. Military personnel are forced to attend Islamic events in Afghanistan- and then are murdered by their muslim hosts! US soldiers are hindered in doing their jobs overseas so they don't "offend" muslims.

I could go on. It is an absolute tragedy that this creature is able to make a mockery of the lives of those murdered in his anti-American Jihad. Worse, that the Obama Administration what is doing to our American heroes.

Hasan is in prison. Time to remind him that he is a cellblock bitch. Forcibly shave the bastard and get it over with.

I remember exactly where I was, what time it was and what I was doing when I first heard about this horrible event and in my head "oh no, no, no"! I sensed this was a new low in history and the reaction of the U.S. government to this barbaric muzlum attack on U.S. soil and on the U.S.military was and is nothing short of sickening, along with the "sacrificing of diversity would be even worse" garbage, just so very sad

I could easily shoot him in the face and be done with it. He is a coward and a savage.

Why does it take three years before we even start a trial? Was there a lot of photocopying to be done? What planet does the legal profession live on?

The disease of political correctness that is afflicting our leaders and country and is taking such a long time to start the trial. By this time this terrorist would have hanged already if we were not comatose due to PC disease!!

3 years -- Justice delayed is justice denied, as the saying goes.
The souls of 14 murdered Americans cry out for justice.

No, let justice run her course. It is what people died for - the belief in a trial by jury.

We don't know what will happen in the courtroom. The good news is that it is a profile case so we know it won't get buried in a back page or not published at all. People will follow it and it will probably wind up on a couple of those crime tv shows.

That ... may lead people to sites like this one.

So what ever happens to him now will be interesting but my personal belief is that he will see true justice in the next life no matter what happens in the legal system.

He or she tow the line of military rules and regulations. This has been the way for generations of American military veterans.

Arjay,

I completely agree with you. I’ve never served in the military (which I deeply regret and wish I could undo now, knowing what I know now), but this is one of those matters that really makes anti-jihadists scratch their heads. I know military guys – military guys who are anti-jihadists and really get it -- and I’ve asked them about this very thing. In short, they tell me that basically it’s the result of upper-rank careerism. What a disgrace. Things may reach a breaking point. I’m all for that. In my opinion, the military needs to take a much more front-and-center role in our current policy-making. There are creative ways of fighting back that don’t necessarily make it appear as if there has been a breaking of rank.

Three years ago today: the Fort Hood jihad massacre
.....................

*Three years*, and still no justice.

And there were *fourteen victims*, not the usually reported thirteen.

Chicagoan Francheska Velez had only just returned from a tour in Iraq three days before, coming back early because she was pregnant. She was expecting a baby boy who would have been born the following May, had she lived.

And Hasan's "call for Muslims to be excused from the U.S. military" is utterly ludicrous. Didn't he realize he was part of a *volunteer army*? No one forced Hasan to join the service.

More:

Tomorrow, remember the jihadist Hasan's victims.

Good line Graven.

And the Obama White House classified his jihad murders are "workplace violence." -- headline

How shameful ...

Downplaying this mass-murder by a mohammedan SOA as "workplace violence"; as if Hasan was merely a disgruntled employee, when in fact he's a devout muslim following his evil prophet muhammad's example.

3 years. "Guilty as sin, free as a bird. America, what a country!" Quote of former Obama mentor Bill Ayers.

Isn't it fascinating to note the difference in treatment between Hasan and the poster boy of the Left, the "Christianist" Tim McVeigh. McVeigh was quivkly apprehended, quickly tried, quickly found guilty & quickly executed.

Hasan is allowed to stall and three years after the open & shut case gathers dust.

I know McVeigh refused to undertake appeals on his sentence, but still, there's something about all this that doesn't quite seem evenhanded isn't there?

God be with you for the election tomorrow, you're going to need Him.

any chance our illustrious leader will pardon this POS if he looses this election? the audacity of this idiot is unlimited

"It was emblematic of their denial regarding the jihad threat in general."

If I may say, more than a denial, it is a deliberate attempt to warp reality and people's perception of the event, to disguise the root cause of this terrorist attack-Islam.

Obama tried the same thing with Benghazi, to turn a jihadist attack into a bludgeon against non-muslims-the 'anti-Islam' video, but he got caught since he had little control over the information and the truth eventually leaked out.

I'm optimistic that Romney will win the election tomorrow and hopefully we'll be rid of Obama-and put his ugly reign behind us. Even better if he ends up in jail over his handling of Benghazi.

The root cause, the "but for" cause, of this crime and tragedy (and arguably an act of war too) is Islam. No Islam, then no Nidal Hasan engaging in his foul deed.

The ultimate culprit is Islam. Hasan was "merely" an instrument of this wretched ideology, though an instrument that still very much deserves to be terminated.

I remember exactly where I was, what time it was and what I was doing when I first heard about this horrible event and in my head "oh no, no, no"!

As horrible as this massacre was, something even more horrible occurred afterward, when General Casey declared to the American people (whom he, under his boss Obama, is supposed to be serving and protecting):

“What happened at Fort Hood is a tragedy, and I believe it would be a greater tragedy if diversity became a casualty here.”

Our silver-haired General with 4 stars in his eyes (and a Purple Heart up his ass) got two things wrong with that statement:

1) a Shakespeare play, or your father getting cancer, or a town getting flooded by a hurricane, is a "tragedy" -- not a cold-blooded massacre in broad daylight on American soil that could have been prevented if we hadn't been mollycoddling Muslims all along

2) Diversity won't become a casualty if we crack down on Muslims with an iron fist -- because the Islam they support is anti-diversity you bloody doddering idiot who should be mopping the floors of the Pentagon, not striding its halls.

@LL reread the last part of my comment I was referring to Casey's despicable statement regarding "diversity" (gag)in the US military, which was incredible insult after injury, this was what stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb in the media aftermath and I was like WTH!?

There is another meaning for SOA, one that I believe is more accurate and correct. To my point, I think the "lamestream" media jumped on the "Soldier of Allah" label without doing their homework.

Samil Basayev sometimes signed off from his video rants as, "Basayev, Slave of Allah."

From Wikipedia:
"Muhammad's father's name was ʿAbd-Allāh meaning "the slave of Allāh".

From the Qur'an:
006.018
YUSUFALI: "He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things."
PICKTHAL: He is the Omnipotent over His slaves, and He is the Wise, the Knower.
SHAKIR: And He is the Supreme, above His servants; and He is the Wise, the Aware.

In the book "Slave of Allah: Zacarias Moussaoui vs The USA, the author (Donahue) notes that the author (Denny) states in his book "An Introduction to Islam":
"Words related to abata to serve, to worship, to be a slave or servant of"

From Ali Sina's site:
http://www.faithfreedom.org/articles/op-ed/the-slaves-of-allah/
"The Slaves of Allah"

And many other sources.

Some use the label "Soldier of Islam".

But I believe the evidence points to "Slave of Allah" as the more appropriate and correct definition.

IMO

Yes, thanks for pointing that out; I was hasty in my reading.

.........................

Both usages are common, PRCS—thanks for pointing that out.

But I also believe this is a distinction without much of a differencera difference—so often, anyone who regards himself as a "slave of Allah" considers himself a "soldier of Allah"—a violent Jihadist—as well.

Here's a fairly typical example, from Yahoo Answers, where some brain-dead Jihadist frets over whether it is Haram to get a tattoo saying "Soldier of Allah". The "best answer" decides that it is indeed Haram to get a "Soldier of Allah" or "Slave of Allah" tattoo—he completely conflates the two—but only because tattoos in general are forbidden. The "sentiment" is just fine.

None of the Muslims who respond worry that being a violent Jihadist is displeasing to Allah—they believe their vile deity is completely down with *that*. In fact, one pious believer says, "'Soldier of Allah' should be written on your heart".

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100106232819AAAaqWg

Additionally, I thought journalists sussing out the "soldier of Allah" thing was actually one of the better moments for the mainstream media, given how often they are either utterly ignorant of Islam, or else try to minimize it as the motive for Jihad terror.

Thanks for your reply, g.

Yes, both ARE in common usage, though I can't help but wonder which of the two would have more dramatically knocked the average kuffar's sensibilities aback.

Not being well informed about religions in general, I wonder how many Christians would have thought it odd to learn that Muslims consider themselves to be Allah's slaves.

From amongst all of the jihadis likely to label themselves "soldiers" of Allah, Basayev chose "slave" of Allah instead (at least some of the time).

I personally think that journalists merely parroted the "soldier" line and have no idea that the more accurate (IMO) "slave of Allah" even exists.

Mostly, to me, it's which one most effectively influences the thinking of others.

--------
I liked your line above!

If you've already voted down there, I hope it was a pleasant experience.

I was a precinct captain up here for a few years; a joy. Properly staffed, plenty of equipment, quick in/quick out. Voters who WANT to show their ID. A pleasure.

One news story reported--as though that's just the way it's supposed to be--that Florida voters (in this case) were taking up to an hour to read their voter pamphlets.

I assume that meant while they were in the booth.

maybe I'm just old fashioned, and have concern for those behind me, but shouldn't they be reading those BEFORE they get to the booth?

So, off I go now, to exercise my right to vote and my responsibility to do so.

Crazy.

We had an *insanely* long ballot in California, since we vote on propositions and initiatives as well as candidates.

Instead of one ballot, we actually had three. Of course, I marked up my sample ballot before I ever got to my polling place. For the sake of all those voters in line behind them, I hope most voters did the same.

Yes, I know.

I live on the California side of the state line.
