no kidding!!!
What do you expect from an ideology built upon fraud and lies?
Another Iran?

'War is deceit' as one 7th Century used-car salesman said. So, the next time these women go to vote they should pre-veil if they want to prevail!
Here we see one of the real reasons why "Muhammad" and "Allah" (i.e., for all practical purposes, whoever is the Islamic authority) legislated that Muslim women had to cover their heads and faces: It is a quick and ready way for the Muslim authority to determine who is a Muslim and who is a non-Muslim so that they can be treated differently according to religion. In the context in which head/face covering was legislated according to the Hadith and the Islamic scholars, some women were being sexually harassed. To prevent Muslim women from being sexually harassed, the head/face covering was imposed as basically a sign essentially saying "Look, this is a Muslim woman. If you mess with her we'll cut your head off, wage war on you, etc. So be forewarned." Meanwhile, Muhammad/Allah still considered it okay that the non-Muslim women be sexually harassed.
Anyways, the Islamic authorities have often found it useful, for the purposes of maintaining and advancing Islamic power, to distinguish the non-Muslims from the Muslims (and the more pious from the less pious Muslims) using obvious signs like dress and behaviour codes. The above case in Egypt indicates one more example of how Islamic supremacists make use of these obvious ways of distinguishing Muslims and non-Muslims in order to promote their deen (in the Islamic sense, deen = system of submission/dominance).

Absolutely. They knew these people were less likely to vote for Shari'ah. I wouldn't be surprised to find that those with "Jewish" facial hair—goatees, etc—were blocked, as well.
Men sporting such styles are more likely to be liberal or secular, and in places like Saudi Arabia and Iran they are often targeted for terrible violence.
This is "democracy" in Egypt in the wake of the "Arab Spring"...
In any election or referendum which has legitimacy, in the eyes of the international community, there always an important element; internationally -approved observers ( these often consist of half-wits like Jimmy Carter but never mind).
Where is half-wit Jimmy Carter when you need him?

Is that a form of voter ID? We don't have that in the US...No one is turned away from the polls, not even dead people...And they can vote as many times as they want...Muslimahs are welcome to vote in full cover up mode and can vote as many times as they have energy for...They are the only ones allowed into the polls wearing a mask...Obviously Egypt has a long way to go for really free elections...
