Lebanese scholar[late] Kamal Salibi in his 'The Bible came from Arabia", asserts, the original 'promised land' is in western [saudi] Arabia with irrefutable facts and figures.The above thriller is based on this.

If the jews are able to claim back their real 'promised land'[after evaporating the savages, of course],it would be best for the whole humanity.

I wasn't casting aspersions on you or any other Indian non-Muslim poster - I know *you* are not Muslim nor addled by Islam, and my support for non-Muslim India in *her* war of self-defence against genocidal Jihad is as strong as ever.

I was just pointing out for the benefit of the curious and the potentially-confusable that Salibi's pet 'thesis' about the location of eretz Israel - his claim that 'the Bible came from Arabia' - is not accepted amongst reputable Biblical scholars and historians - Christian, Jewish or secular - nor among non-Muslim Arabists who really know their stuff. A quick google round revealed that the vast majority of people who approve of and agree with and quote Salibi's highly contentious and rather forced 'arguments' claiming that the Biblical Holy Land is NOT where everyone else, Jewish and Christian and Roman and Greek, has always known it to be, but was somewhere in 'southwest Arabia' instead, are Muslims...with a sprinkling of non-Muslim jew-haters thrown in for good measure, *especially* those who side with the Poooor Palestinians.

I didn't know whether you were referring to Salibi ironically or seriously, but I thought I had better deal with him, for the sake of others who might be confused by him if they went looking.

Jews *lived* in Arabia - e.g. the Jewish community of Yemen - just as they lived in many other parts of the world, even as far away as western China; but the Jews living in Arabia always knew that eretz Israel, land of Canaan, Holy Land, was not anywhere near where they themselves were living. Even before the birth of Theodore Herzl there were Yemeni Jews who upped stakes and somehow got themselves out of Yemen and all the way to the land of Israel, where conditions at the time, though bad - no dhimmis anywhere ever really had it *good* - were not quite as bad as in Yemen.
