I am appalled by his blathering on about the 'Palestinians', and his outrage at the very idea of Jews having the temerity - how dare they! - to actually build new houses in Jerusalem and Judea!! It sickens me. It infuriates me.

He is totally on side with the 'Poooor Palestinians' (TM). And with the Ummah.

Not so many years ago, he was in New York City, and was just sooo bowled-over by that slimy Mohammedan conman and da'wa artist, Imam Abdul Rauf I think the name was, who was one of the people pushing the Ground Zero Mosque.

He loved him so much that he invited him to NSW - this was back when Carr was Premier of NSW - to do da'wa there (addressing assorted interfaith snake-oil/ 'dialogue' sessions.

But - not so much for his sake, he's probably totally impervious to reality, but for the sake of the merely naive who may lob in there out of good faith - tell a few home truths, about Jihad, Islam and the Jews, as briefly and pointedly as you can.

It ought to read:

Ideally, such counter-demonstrations should be *bigger* - visibly *bigger* - than whatever numbers the 'Let's Hate Israel' jihad gangsters and their deluded (or, in some cases, actively malevolent) groupies can muster up.

I have currently got an awful cold - yes, right in the middle of what is shaping up to be a scorching summer - but apart from that I'm not so badly off.

I was so happy to be able to share that speech from Federal MP Tony Smith. He's a lowly backbencher, but he's *got* what Hamas is all about...and it's only a short jump from that, to knowing what *Islam and the Ummah* are all about. If he can just get his head around taqiyya (and other varieties of Islamic deception) and the concept of Hudna, which knowledge would enable him to deal with and see through the smiling and plausible variety of Mohammedan da'wa peddlers here in Oz (the kind who prudently do not take part in the menacing rallies of the Fast Jihadists, and prefer to pretend they don't know that yelling 'Slaughter the Jews' is perfectly halal), he'll be set. And then that makes one more Aussie Parliamentarian who *doesn't* have to be brought up to scratch.

His constituents are fortunate. If he was *my* elected rep - which he isn't, alas - I'd be sending him a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.

It's a matter of just finding the people like him, and then getting behind them and PUSHING.

Funny thing is, we *ought* to empathise with Israel.

Because unlike the USA, with the vastness of the Pacific on one side and the vastness of the Atlantic on the other, we are *right slap bang up against* enormous majority-Muslim Indonesia. It's only a very short boat ride from West Timor, say, across the ditch to Australia's sparsely populated northwest coast. (Just take a look at the map).

(Only non-Muslim Singapore is more uncomfortably placed, squeezed in between Malaysia and Indonesia; it should be no surprise that, like Israel, Singapore requires all its young men to undergo a period of military training immediately they complete their education).

If we knew what was good for us, we would A/ halt all immigration of Muslims, like, NOW B/ start figuring out ways to evict the Muslim Fifth Column already present within our borders, starting with all the ones that are making various kinds of Muslim trouble, calling for Sharia, threatening to kill Jews, etc., C/ emulate Israel and Singapore by giving all our school-leavers basic military training (NOT however for sending them to waste their lives in hellholes like Afghanistan...God forbid! but if we understood about Global Jihad, there is no way we'd be in Afghanistan), D/ we would be fortifying our entire northwest back doorstep and E/ we would be staunchly voting for and with Israel, every single time, at the UN.

Back in 1979, V S Naipaul visited Iran, Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia, and talked with and observed the Muslims there, with his BS detectors switched on to HIGH.

And I doubt they'd be content just with *northern* Australia, either.

All Muslims who take Islam to heart cannot but look at the non-Muslim countries next door, and dream of conquering them for Islam, Islam, Islam.

When Muslim Indonesia has finished devouring Christian and anmist Melanesian West Papua, which it seized and invaded and occupied - upon the flimsiest of pretexts - back in the 1960s, I fully expect it to make a move upon vulnerable little Christian Melanesia Papua-New Guinea. And I do not expect Muslim Indonesia to permanently acquiesce in the loss of majority-Christian East Timor/ Timor Lorosae, which it invaded and looted and whose population it Islamically exploited, abused, and mass murdered, but which it was humiliatingly forced to cough up, about ten years ago. Jihad will resume against East Timor, under some pretext or another, as soon as Indonesia thinks they can get away with it.

And sooner or later, they *will* wage Jihad against *us*.

I take comfort in a reading from the OT (Eze.37-38 for any who would be interested) and in knowing that "right" and "just" will win in the end.

And I too appreciate dda's knowledgeable commentary and information on history, geography, and what is going on in The Land Down Under, a country that I have long found to be such an interesting place I would love to visit. But with everything going on this day, I too see an over-running of any good and decent place by those intent on terror.

Thanks for that sobering heads-up re the position of Australia, DDA.

Of course I know the geography, but I tend to think of Australia as an island continent, and hence mostly vulnerable—like Canada and the United States—to foolish immigration policies.

But, as you note, you have the monstrous and fast Islamizing Indonesia on your doorstep, backed by Malaysia, which is also increasingly Islamized, with all the bellicosity that entails.

The fact is that all civilized people should stand with embattled Israel just on moral grounds, but a reminder of how threatened we all are by Jihad is timely.

In fact, while antisemitism—and foolish "Islamophilia"—in general is a big factor in Europe's nasty hostility to Israel, I believe a lot of it is also a particularly ugly form of denial—if Europe is to fully admit the existential threat Islam presents to little Israel, they might well have to take a hard look at their *own* vulnerability, as civilized Europe increasingly becomes "Eurabia".
