This was from Pakistan in 2007.

What we see here is not only the summary execution of an individual who may or may not be guilty of crimes deserving of the death penalty, not only the deliberately brutal mode of execution that appears to bring delight to the spectators but the deliberate excision of a child's respect for human life. This kid is not learning how to be brave, nor learning justice as it is understood in the West. Instead he is learning to love cruelty, or perhaps better put, his matriculating as a full-blown Mohammedan sociopath. He is already lost.
The only sensible role for the US in this conflict is to ensure that the balance of power between the combatants is roughly equal and under no circumstances to offer refuge to any Mohammedan refugees over the age of three years.

Actually, as grim as this sounds, I hope the images *will* haunt that boy, Epistemology.
Not out of any spite on my part—clearly, he was compelled to do what he did—but because the alternative is *far, far worse*.
If that boy is *not* haunted by the horror of what he was compelled to do, then chances are he will join the vile Jihadists who perpetrated this horror against him and against the beheading victim.

Chill. I seldom get any problem, and when I do it's the fault of the Typepad service and/or the speed of the internet connection chain and not the JW site script. If you get frustrated by the vagaries of technology, and are going to make a comment longer than a sentence or two, just compose it in a text editor then cut-and-paste to the comment box. For short comments, just load the text onto the clipboard before hitting the "submit" button.
For those who refuse to look at the clip for any reason, I will say it again with a bit more edge: if you're so touchy-feely that you can't look at savagery on a computer screen then, when a Muslim is slaughtering someone in front of your very eyes ~ which of course will neeeever happen ~ you will freeze in horror and someone you could save ~ maybe even yourself ~ will be murdered while you do nothing.

Run a spelling and grammar checker on it.
