U.S. "intelligence" assessment: Global jihad could end by 2030, Christian and Hindu terrorists coming next

Politically correct fantasy and wishful thinking, reflecting the official prohibition on investigating the roots of jihad terror and Islamic supremacism in Islamic texts and teachings. (CNSNews.com) – The wave of Islamist terrorism is receding and “could end by 2030,” according to a new long-term assessment by the U.S. intelligence community.
In support of that projection, the study released on Monday said the view of America as the “great enemy” was becoming less appealing, resulting in part from the departure of U.S. forces from Iraq and Afghanistan.

It also cited political upheavals in the Arab world, and said that a new generation of young Muslims may be less interested in the narrative of a “conflict between fundamental values.”

“Several circumstances are ending the current Islamist phase of terrorism, which suggest that as with other terrorist waves – the Anarchists in the 1880s and 90s, the postwar anti-colonial terrorist movements, the New Left in 1970s – the recent religious wave is receding and could end by 2030,” said the National Intelligence Council’s Global Trends 2030 report.

“The Arab uprisings have demonstrated the moral and strategic legitimacy of nonviolent struggle,” it argued. “Protesters acted in the name of democratic values, not in the name of religion.”

“The impending withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq and decreases in U.S. forces in Afghanistan help to reduce the extent to which terrorists can draw on the United States as a lightning rod for anger,” it said. “Soon, U.S. support for Israel could be the last remaining major focus of Muslim anger.”

Since 1996 the NIC, which reports to the director of national intelligence, has prepared a trends analysis roughly every four years for the incoming president. This time it discussed the draft with experts in almost 20 countries, and the views of those “interlocutors” are reflected in the final 166-page document.

Despite the upbeat assessment on the likelihood of an end to Islamist terrorism, the report conceded that terror would probably not die out altogether.

Some al-Qaeda affiliates and groups like Hezbollah may continue to pose threats, and states like Iran and Pakistan could continue to use terror groups as proxies, it said.

“Taking a global perspective, future terrorists could come from many different religions, including Christianity and Hinduism. Right-wing and left-wing ideological groups – some of the oldest users of terrorist tactics – also will pose threats.”...

This is one of the most bizarre reports ever written! It's as if it's from some alternative universe! It's right up there with the infamous Iraq "weapons of mass destruction" fiasco.

America is a target because it's a very visual and plump target for recruiting jihadists against the infidels. What exactly do they think was the cause of Sept 11, 2001? Will ANY of those causes be gone in 2030? NO THEY WILL NOT. Not a single one of them. And certainly the texts of Islam that inspire it all will not have changed.

And that end report assessment of Hindus and Christians picking up the torch from the Islamic supremacists is bonkers. However, I will say that in Europe, with its horrific future scenario of Islamic supremacist colonization is rapidly shaping up to having vigilante activities as an actual possibility against sharia law in those areas rapidly being annexed. What are you going to do when your town is colonized, sharia law is the unofficial new law, and your daughter is raped by a horde of muslim men? These scenarios are being played out in parts of Europe right now. A rash of vigilantes fighting against the Islamic supremacists taking over in 2030. I guess that is possible. Terrorism on an international scale by Christians and Hindus like Islamic supremacists do? Insane fantasy projection.

Anyone who thinks that Muslim terror has “reasons” is a naive or a fool, the real reasons of Muslim terror is found in the Koran, the incitement to hatred in mosques and in the madrasas, none of which is going away any time soon.

The pattern of Muslim terror has always been to strike first and think of a convenient “reason” later; “reasons” may change but the Muslim terror is here to stay.

Y'know, look on the bright side, what this may actually mean, between the lines, is that...the authors of this article are scared sh*tless that sometime soon ALL the different infidel groups currently being attacked by Muslims will...team up and a massive and concerted pushback against the jihad - not just local, though it may begin locally, but national and regional - will begin.

Christians and Hindus get mentioned first, because they constitute the two single largest blocs of non-Muslims: a couple billion people are nominally Christian, mostly inhabiting regions historically shaped by Christian faith (and that includes Russia), and just under a billion are Hindus. They *also* have a significant minority presence in many Muslim lands (e.g Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, where both Christians and Hindus live under the Muslim boot) and in all those places they are suffering abuse from Muslims, and people in the majority-non-Muslim heartlands are beginning to notice this, and to get angry (especially since the Muslim minority inside India, and inside the lands of former 'christendom', behave so badly and whine so loudly at the same time).

Buddhist Thailand and Buddhist Myanmar (as witness a wonderful photo of a Buddhist monk in Myanmar holding up a placard saying in English 'the world is not only for Muslims!') are getting more and more and more pzzed off by the Muslim mayhem within their borders. Wait till South Korea and Japan - luckily largely free of a Muslim Fifth Column cotton on to the global menace represented by Islam...

Thanks for the link; I was not aware of this particular posting, I bookmarked it for future reference.

The pertinent part of that post is that [i]t took very little time to compose this list. It would not take much longer to add another hundred, two hundred, three hundred items to the list of things that “fuel Muslim extremism.”

In fact there are probably as many different excuses for Muslim terror attacks as Muslim terror attacks which runs into the thousands.

I have witnessed this pattern when I lived in Israel during the 1990’ and soon after each suicide bombing, one or more terrorist organisation took responsibility for the bombing, citing a “reason” as something that had happened just a day (or less) before, obviously whilst the perpetrators where already on their way to carry out their murderous mission” – it was not unusual to have more than one terror organisation taking responsibility for the one bombing but citing different “reasons”.

Obviously this Buehler movie quality piece by NICGT2030, was written by muslim infiltrators within the muslim oh so sensitive intelligence agency. No one who is a Christian, Jew, Hindu, or other peaceful belief ideology or understands them, without hatred prejudice, and who has studied the trilogy texts of islam, and at least the past 500 years of history, could write such drivel, that would make a script for a Forrest Buehler movie, or even better, the stoners movie, Cheech and Chong, Up in Smoke. Seems about that calibre a piece. Laughable and insulting to Liberty and the history of Judeo-Christianity, and Hinduism, and Budhaism, and history.

This "intelligence" report isn't very intelligent. Rather, it's the kind of drivel that is regularly produced by academia on sundry subjects. I highly suspect that the authors of this report have loads of extra degrees. Well, as George Orwell observed, some ideas are so stupid only intellectuals could come up with them.
