Morsi to urge Obama to release Blind Sheikh, mastermind of 1993 World Trade Center jihad mass murder

This is revealing of Morsi's perspective. The Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, was the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and a man who had plotted to murder Americans in the hundreds of thousands by blowing up the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels in New York. To release him would be a spectacular endorsement of jihad terror on Obama's part. That doesn't mean he won't do it, of course.

The release of an Egyptian blind sheikh, jailed in the United States for the 1993 World Trade Center attack, will be urged by Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi during his upcoming visit to the U.S., the leader said on Monday.
The announcement follows his pledge, during his presidential campaign earlier this year, to free Omar Abdul Rahman. The preacher is currently serving a life sentence and the planned request for his release appears to be gesture, by Mursi, to Gama’a al-Islamiya, a Salafi group.

Sheikh Rahman is the spiritual leader of Gama’a al-Islamiya, which was involved in the 1981 assassination of President Anwar Sadat but renounced violence in 1997. The group has entered mainstream politics since former President Hosni Mubarak was toppled.

In September, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland stressed there was no plan to release him following his trial and conviction.

Mursi told CNN in an interview aired Monday that he was hoping to travel to the United States before the end of March 2013, and he planned to raise the case of Sheikh Rahman with U.S. President Barack Obama.

"There is no set date yet, but it will most likely be before the end of the first quarter of this year," Mursi said.

It will be the Islamist leader's first visit to the United States since he was elected last year after the overthrow of long-time Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak.

Relations between the United States and its key regional ally, Egypt, have been complicated since Mursi's election with Washington treading carefully amid a series of controversial and widely criticized moves by Mursi.

Mursi repeated his view of the blind sheikh saying: "I want him to be free." But he added: "I respect the law. And the rule of law in Egypt and the United States."

If the ailing and ageing Abdul Rahman cannot be freed, then Mursi suggested he should be allowed visitation rights with his family and children.

"Is there a chance for him to be freed? I wish this," Mursi said, but if not then "Egypt's relationship with America deserves that these issues be reviewed, if that is okay according to the law."

"If it isn't possible, and I hope that it is possible, if it wasn't possible, then these humane aspects need to be taken into account, for him to be in a humane prison, to be able to have visitors, to be able to have company."

Mursi said he also wanted to discuss other issues with Obama, such as cooperation in scientific research, manufacturing and production, and tourism.

If this Muslim Brotherhood Mohammedthug Morsi does indeed visit the US in March, then every Islamosavvy person in the US needs to start planning NOW for the marches, rallies, demonstrations, and other consciousness-raising Events that they are going to conduct from the moment he steps foot on American soil, to the moment he leaves.

At the centre and forefront of those rallies - protectively surrounded and supported by their non-Muslim brethren - should be the Copts in America, with Raymond Ibrahim in the lead, holding up placards and banners describing and denouncing the escalating campaign of slander and terror that is going on against the Copts in Egypt. Make a giant banner and put on it the names and faces of every Coptic girl who has been kidnapped, raped and paraded as a 'convert' to Islam in the past ten years, including those seized since Morsi came to power, and carry it through the main streets of Washington and hang it up on or near the front fence of the White House. List all the gross human rights abuses carried out against Copts; list ALL the Copts who have been killed, and those who have been falsely accused of charges like 'Blasphemy!' since Morsi came to power.

Make banners and posters and placards and put on them all the viciously antisemitic statements that Morsi is known to have made in the past - that lot from 2010 that recently came to light, for example. (Send copies of *those* to every person in the Congress and Senate, so that if the hideous Morsi is invited to speak in the Capitol, they have to think about what they will do; for this would be analogous to having Herr Hitler or Herr Eichmann or David Irving address American lawmakers).

Get cracking: American Jihadwatchers, but especially Copts, and all Islamosavvy Jews and all Gentile Friends of Zion.

Make this thug's visit, if he *does* visit, a Teaching Moment.

Re the Muslim Brotherhood.

In 1951, Armenian-American journalist 'John Roy Carlson' (pen-name) published 'Cairo to Damascus'.

In that book he describes what he observed when he infiltrated himself behind the jihadi lines in 1948, posing as an Islamophile American who had admired the Nazis.

He even scored an actual interview with Hassan al-Banna, grandfather of the slimy Tariq Ramadan, and one of the leading theorists of the Muslim Brotherhood.

There are two chapters in that book that, had americans in 1951, especially politicians and diplomats, read and taken seriously, might have prevented a lot of dangerous folly.

They are entitled simply 'The Moslem (Black) Brotherhood', and 'World of the Koran: Islam, Islam Uber Alles'.

Get the book. Photocopy just those chapters. Add a brief covering letter, emphasising that Morsi is the Ikhwan's man, and send them to all elected representatives, State and Federal.
