Ihsanoglu urged all Christians, Jews and other Unbelievers to exercise restraint in the face of the incitement to hatred and violence towards them expressed in the Quran, and he reiterated that according to Islamic Shraia the OIC are deciding what's legal in France, and what's not.

Quite a few people confuse incitement to laugh with incitement to hatred and violence (and murder), don't they! And don't most (if not all) of these people have in common an islamic upbringing? If they need help, surely it ain't the responsibility of cartoonists :D

Charlie Hebdo is part of French culture as apple pie is part of the American way of life. Who do these Mahoundians think they are? We'll never take orders from them. Like it or not, freedom of speech is innate to our civilisation. What they can do, I leave that to your imagination, as I'm not allowed to name it. I'm sure some of you know what I mean.

Until they stop supporting slavery, misogyny, prostitution, honor killings, and antisemitism, I really couldn't care less what they think.

Bullsh*t. Muslims are held by these strictures—journalists are not. Moreover, despite its tabloid format, Charlie Hebdo is *not* a newspaper—it is a humor magazine.

There is only one circumstance where Infidels would be prevented from publishing such work, and that is where Infidels are living as threatened dhimmis living under Shari'ah in Dar-al-Islam.

And this is *exactly* what the OIC is trying to do—even to free Infidels living in civilized France.

A PS. Here in the UK there came a new law - the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE). On the face of it this was good since it intended to prevent the unjust prosecution of innocents. Previously the Police didn't need to dot every "i" and cross every "t" before prosecuting. Now, because of PACE the prosecutors now frequently reject what had previously been regarded as "adequate evidence" and criminals are now able to reply "no comment" to every question and often avoid prosecution, or win at appeal if convicted.

It is undeniably true that previously some habitual criminals were wrongly convicted and were "fitted up" by the police as a "balancing" process for those crimes of which the police knew they were guilty but couldn't amass sufficient evidence. "hearsay" is now automatically inadmissible and witness intimidation was, and is, quite common. The "balance of probability" seems no longer to be a factor.
Of course some genuine innocents were sometimes wrongly convicted. They still are.

Net result? Well crime has soared since PACE and some lawyers have become fabulously rich - often via taxpayer funded "legal aid".
Looks to me that US has very similar problems.

Judges can only operate to the letter of the law. If the law hasn't been followed correctly then judges have, in the main, little choice but some are rather too liberal in their findings.
Again here in the UK the "Human Rights Act" has had an even worse impact than PACE. We now cannot deport or extradite terrorists.

Both PACE and the Human Rights Act are being seriously abused and not least by islamists.

and NO I have never been a police officer or criminal lawyer.

Why there is no world-wide protests against the latest cartoons? No U.S. or French flags seen burning? Are they going to let down their prophet and sacrifice virgin brigade of afterlife? I am ashamed.
