Hard-Left Center for American Progress and Thomas Friedman blaming “Arab Spring” on global warming

The Center for American Progress is the extraordinarily well-funded and anti-Semitic hard-Left organization that published a highly deceptive and misleading report on the Muslim Brotherhood concept “Islamophobia,” defaming numerous people who are trying to defend freedom and Constitutional principles. And now the New York Times’ Useful Idiot Thomas Friedman joins them to attribute the “Arab Spring” Islamic supremacist uprisings to “the long-term trends in precipitation, agriculture, food prices, and migration.” Jihad doctrine and the ideology of Islamic supremacism? Pah! What could that have had to do with it? And what about the Crusades?

“ADVISORY: Tom Friedman and Anne-Marie Slaughter on Climate Change and the Arab Spring,” from the Center for American Progress, February 22 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

Washington, D.C. “” Please join the Center for American Progress, the Center for Climate & Security, and the Stimson Center on Thursday, February 28, for the release of a new volume on “Climate Change and the Arab Spring.” Panelists Tom Friedman, Anne-Marie Slaughter, and Michael Werz will parse out these complex interactions and discuss the implications for U.S. foreign and development policy.

The volume outlines the complex pressures exerted by the effects of climate change on the convulsions which swept through the Middle East in 2010 and 2011, exploring the long-term trends in precipitation, agriculture, food prices, and migration which contributed to the social instability and violence which has transformed the region, and offering solutions for progress.

Didn’t know that any citizen initiative petitions had gone through in DC decriminalizing all formerly-banned illegal drugs.

    Good to now know.

    Apparently Friedman’s choice is LSD.

Also good to know that climate change promotes shariah.

Have we not heard? “Climate change” is causing every wrong thing with our world, we must just do somthing, anything to save the planet from living things.

For it is us that is the trouble, not the natural world. This only works if we are not part of this world, but a implant from another source, otherwise we ARE a natural part of this world, oh the horror.

Climate change is NATURAL. Mars had flowing water once, now it is in ice, or underground perhaps, but no longer flows above ground. We did not cause this, so learn from what we know through discovery.

    Oh ye of limited imagination.

It doesn’t matter if the changes are natural or man-made. Multi-seasonal changes in weather patterns affect harvests, usually for the worse. Bad harvests lead to hunger. Hunger leads to unrest and desperation. Hungry desperate people are easy to lead by anyone who can promise them A) food or B) revenge on whatever boogyman they can be convinced is causing the hunger. (America and/or Zionists)

Look at the French Revolution. If the citizenry hadn’t been hungry and desperate, it likely wouldn’t have happened, or happened in a way that wasn’t so bloody. A well-fed content people are hard to lead in revolt. A hungry mob just needs to be aimed.

Wait a minute…Global Warming, “In a freaking desert”?

Oh that’s right, it called “Climate Change” now, so it is all encompassing and can be blamed for everything including the wart I seen on a squirrels ass this morning.

Folks, as mentioned above, the climate is always changing, just ask the Southern US today as they dig out from the recent snowstorm.

Last winter we got very little snow, this winter we got average snowfall in my area. So what?

Next they will want that carbon tax again, so all our tax dollars can be diverted to these poor folks suffering from climate change which of course is making them all RAGING MUSLIMS!!

    What a joke…

  5. says

No not “climate change” idiot! The problem is regime change! Easy to see how you got mixed up as both have the word “change” at the end.

    How utterly stupid!

Well, tell that to our “leaders”, or the U.N. , they are calling for Trillions to fight climate change, change that may, no is natural, and beyond our ability to effect any change.

If the Sun is the source of temp increase (likly), then you just try to effect that by spending money.

Also, even though crops and food are connected to climate, these are other areas of attention, seperate from global climate change. The word “Worse” implies a desired goal, and presents a attempt to EFFECT the change to your wants and needs or desires, that is pushing a human climate perfection, not living within nature’s world.

Try focusing on a few astronomy web-sites.
Solar output is down. It has been for years. Part of the Sun’s own natural cycle.

Solar forcing is not a factor in Climate Change.
