#MyJihad in Israel: Islamic Jihad to kidnap civilians at bus and train stations foiled

"Islamic Jihad," eh? So I guess they are dedicated to getting in their exercise despite their busy schedules, right? How on earth did such a peaceful, happy group get involved in kidnapping?

"Islamic Jihad kidnapping plot inside Israel foiled," from Israel Hayom, February 3:

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Border Police thwarted an attempt last month by an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell to kidnap an Israeli civilian or soldier for use as a bargaining chip in a future prisoner exchange.
Members of the cell were detained early on Jan. 1 near the Eyal checkpoint, east of Kfar Saba. Rope, tape, head scarves, a knife and a fake pistol were found in their vehicle.

The case was placed under a gag order, which was lifted on Sunday.

Members of the cell included two Palestinians from Jenin and an Israeli Arab from Qalansuwa.

Upon questioning, the cell members confessed to attempting several abductions at bus and train stations in the coastal and central regions of Israel over the span of two days. These attempts were foiled by the refusal of civilians and soldiers to enter their vehicle. They then planned to kidnap revelers returning from New Year's Eve celebrations, but they failed in this as well. They spent the night in their vehicle near the Eyal checkpoint and were detained early on New Year's Day. They had intended to continue their kidnapping attempts that day.

The cell members planned to transport their hostage to Jenin, where they would conduct negotiations with Israeli authorities. They intended to use the Israeli Arab's ID card to pass into Judea and Samaria from Israel.

The investigation of the plot led to the arrest of eight additional suspects in the Jenin area. An Israeli Arab from Umm al-Fahm was also arrested for hosting members of the cell at his home the night before their arrest.

On Sunday, the two detained Israeli Arabs in the case were indicted in the Central District Court in Lod for attempted kidnapping, among other charges....

OT I contacted P&G the makers of Tide Detergent and urgd that their legal team be notified of CAIR's blatant ripping off of Tide detergent's ad "That's my Tide, what's your's?" (which began way back in August 2012)

P&G is a large conglomerate with very deep pockets and would have no trouble at all going at it in court with the CAIR slimey worms. I really hope they follow up with my tip. I would so love CAIR's ass to get kicked.

Foreign policy elites think it'll get better once a peace settlement is brokered. Ha! It will get worse.

They don't look at things like, "Well, that's settled. Let's move on."

It's more like--look what we got away with last time. Let's try that again when we're stronger, only twice as worse.

That is, they were foiled by the highly-tuned DLR-detectors deployed by the majority of Jews in Israel.

That woman obviously had a better DLR detection system than most of the other unfortunate folks on the bus...I suspect that a lot more Jews in Israel have acquired DLR detection systems since that time. Or died.

Thing to remember, too: in the initial process of developing this detection system, one will have plenty of false alarms. However: better feeling silly, on the many occasions when, as you learn to use this system, you make mistakes, than being dead, or disabled, or languishing as a hostage of jihadis, because although your DLR-system was screaming in your ear you refused to listen because you knew that if it was a false alarm you were going to look silly/ get laughed at/ be called 'Islamophobe!'/ have to catch the next plane/ bus/ train/ be late for work or school, etc.

Israel HaYom needs to call things by their right names.

That should have been - "Members of the cell included two Arab Muslims from Jenin and an Israel-passport-holding Arab Muslim from Qalansuwa."

More:

The Ummah, or Mohammedan Mob, is the sheltering and nurturing sea within which the jihadis, the sharia assassins, swim and from which, ceaselessly, they emerge.

Every colony of the Ummah, wherever implanted within the Lands fo the Non-Muslims, produces jihad plotters, sooner or later; and the bigger and stronger it is or perceives itself to be, vis a vis the surrounding non-Muslim population, the more such plotters it will produce.

Arab Muslims resident inside Israel and holding Israeli citizenship, Israeli passports comprise - the facts have to be faced - a Fifth Column and Advance Military Base of the wider Ummah at large as that Ummah conducts its neverending Jihad Against The Jews.
