Just stop serving meat.

1. Unless afflicted with some unusual disease, no child will be adversly affected by not having a meat dish for lunch. Give them a "veggie burger", instead.

2. If "filthy kuffar" parents don't stand up against this kind of bullying, it will not just continue--it will escalate. Ask--publicly--how that "dinner lady's" action constitutes "an insult to their faith"?

I would not allow any child of mine to attend a school where the food has been prayed-over, let alone during the act of brutal halal slaughter, by a muslim, period. There's no good reason in the world to yield to their demands and barbaric practices in our own countries. Muslims can take their halal food and their tender sensitivities and pack 'em in their backsides next to the explosives...

How does this work in the kitchen and serving area? Do they have two distinct set of pots and pans and cooking utensils, serving areas for halal and non halal meals?

Furthermore, I thought that all meat is halal anyway in schools, prisons etc. so there cannot be a mix up.

I expect muslims to behave like this, so *that* doesn't surprise me.

What totally sickens and enrages me is the behaviour of Birmingham City Council who have used this poor woman as a scapegoat in order to placate a bunch of supremacist muslims.

I hope she takes the Council to an Industrial Tribunal and wipes the floor with them.

Of course, this craven dhimmitude is **not enough** . Whenever non-muslims apologise for stepping on the toes of muslims, the reaction is not 'thanks for the apology', but demands for further and more grovelling and kow towing.

And further; this is supposedly a **multi-faith** school. But in the mind of the moronic non-muslim parent who was quoted, feeding halal to non-muslim kids is perfectly OK ! Grrr !!

One aspect of islamists in their perpetual never ending state of "I'm a muslim and I'm offended"... is the continual escalation of their anger AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO FORGIVE or move beyond their "being offended."

In the poor British economy (which sucks partly because of the HORRENDOUS BURDEN non-mulsim taxpayers have in providing free food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care, housing and stipends ie "spending money" to the lazy gluttonous muslim hoardes)...

this apparently non-muslim woman is now unemployed. These selfish arrogant troglodyte muslims don't care because they'll still get their freebies from the British government.

Apparently an employment record with no previous mistakes doesn't matter. However, in typical muslim troglodyte fashion... the muslims keep "escalating" the situation.

The self-importance and arrogance in the muslim actions is putrid. More and more infidels will have to be "punished" until the school officials will capitulate to any sharia rule no matter how miniscule.

I see in the school's future numerous lawsuits by these greedy muslims.

On another note- why are the non-muslims so complacent about halal meat in the cafeteria?

I used to admire the British on how they treated their animals. Wildlife, zoo animals, livestock or pets... I saw British animal welfare via the Jane Goodalls, Gerald Durrells, David Taylors and of course James Herriots (All Creatures Great & Small fame). The fact that the British agriculture and farming industry is mostly "halal" compliant is disgusting.

Halal slaughter is unsanitary and risks food contamination. Halal slaughter is EXTREMELY CRUEL with animals suffering horrifically and in absolute terror.

Halal slaughter is also done under islamist ritual and invokes allah. NON-MUSLIMS... THE HALAL FOOD IS DONE IN THE NAME OF ALLAH.

What of Anglican, Catholic, Methodist, Agnostic, New Age, Hindu, Presbyterian, Atheist, Buddhist, etc- students? Why aren't these people complaining about eating food that is prepared in accordance to a death cult's rules?

UK- STOP the serving of halal food. If the muslim trogs want halal food... let them make their children's "halal" sack lunches with all the free money they get from the British government.

This reminds me of an article posted at Bare Naked Islam. Two Minneapolis police officers were photographed AT A PRIVATE HALLOWEEN PARTY wearing burkha/hijab costumes. One wearing a Target department store badge. Apparently the muslim trog-bitches are notorious for their bad behavior as employees of the local Target.

Muslims are demanding (and getting) more and more concessions from the Police Dept., City and Target.

Apparently some non-muslim Target employees (ie the ones who actually work) posted comments when the "costumes story" was made public and the Target staff supported the "costumes" and thought they were funny.

The muslims simply ARE NOT SATISFIED no matter how this issue is attempted to appease them IN THEIR FAVOR. It keeps escalating and getting worse and worse.

Minneapolis Police Department and this British school have a lot in common.

They made the mistake of trying to appease muslim troglodytes... and realized NOTHING will satiate the greedy gluttonous islamists.

These idiotic fools, the leaders, who do not, under any circumstance, eat Halal meat themselves, as they probably wouldn't contemplate sitting down to a school meal, are disregarding the religion of the Christian Children who attend the School. The "Muslims" themselves are insulting the Christian faith in expecting all to eat this filth.
But in this weak, over tolerant country, it's ok for the Non Muslim child to eat this filth isn't it ?

As soon as Muslims there have ensured that nothing but Halal food be served in schools and other official venues, wait for the demand that all food handlers be Muslim, as well.

I hope this woman launches a lawsuit against her employer for wrongful dismissal. This is absolutely disgraceful. But the U.K. and other Western jurisdictions have already descended so far down the path of surrender, if not willful compliance, with the evil cult of Islam that, even if this woman won her lawsuit, it would be merely a drop in the bucket. Alas, we must continue to oppose Islam anyway, because it is the right thing to do, and people of moral integrity cannot do otherwise.

I think that the school administrator and all others responsible should be fired for forcing the non-muslim children to eat halal meat.

Preliminary observation: suppose that, in a multi-faith school that prided itself on allowing people to observe their various ritual obligations, a Buddhist or Hindu kid had been accidentally served something with a bit of meat in it. Suppose an Orthodox Jewish kid had been - accidentally - given a non-kosher meal. Does anyone suppose that the Hindu, or Buddhist or Jewish parents would have screamed and yelled and thrown a tantrum like these Muslims did and are doing, and demanded that - on the basis of **one little mistake** the lady should be sacked?

It's not as if the kid - like somebody with a bad peanut allergy - was going to be prostrated and at death's door within minutes of eating the forbidden food.

Health-related dietary restrictions are one thing; there, an error *can* be harmful and sometimes even fatal.

But purely cultural dietary restrictions are something else entirely.

It is appalling that this poor dinner lady has been sacked, and - in Britain, where any kind of a job is not easy to find - is now unemployed.

And the denial of choice to the non-Muslim kids, and the Muslims' arrogant assumption that *everybody* has to do things their way, even when not belonging to their cult, is revolting.

Now for my main comment:

Barnabas Fund's latest news magazine has a very clear article "The Challenge of the Halal Economy" about the push for halal, the Muslim campaign to 'universalise' halal, in western countries, and how it is part of what we might call Sharia Creep.

I will reproduce here, for everyone's benefit, the clear and cogent arguments that are made in that article, against the 'normalisation' or 'universalisation' of halal (not only in regard to meat, but more and more in regard to other products as well).

1/ When halal products are not labelled, or no alternative to them is offered, consumers are being denied the freedom to make an informed choice about whether or not to buy them.

But if the freedom of Muslims to follow Muslim practices should be guaranteed, **then so should the freedom of non-Muslims NOT to follow Muslim practices**.

2/ Halal meat [and, for that matter, any other product labelled as 'halal' - dda] has to be certified as such by one of several Islamic agencies that oversee the production and distribution processes. The fees charged by these agencies are passed on from the wholesalers to the retailers and finally to customers, who have to pay extra for their meat [or other product - dda].

"**In at least some cases, a proportion of the funds raised are thought to be used to fund Islamic mission (dawa). As a result, **non-Muslim consumers can end up promoting an Islamic agenda [that is, their money paying for food etc. is being siphoned off to pay for Muslim proselytizing and recruitment of jihad - dda] without even knowing it.

In other words: 'halal certification', once you have most or all food products having to be regularly inspected and reinspected to say that they are halal, is a nice little earner for the Ummah.

3/ Halal products are a major tool of dawa in the West. **For many Muslims this 'mission' includes imposing Islamic practices on non-Muslims and the gradual Islamisation of non-Muslim societies. The Islamisation agenda does not require non-Muslims to believe the tenets of Islam; it only requires that they submit to them, whether knowingly or unknowingly. By buying halal products non-Muslims are unintentionally assisting this process".

Barnabas recommend that, while we may accept the right of Muslims to follow their own religious rules relating to food and other products (just as we accept the right of Orthodox Jews to eat kosher, and the right of Hindus or Buddhists to observe certain rules), we "should also protest against the process of Islamisation that tries to impose these [Muslim] rules and products on non-Muslims, and thus extend the rule of sharia over us.

"Christians [and, for that matter, everybody else who is not a Muslim; in the UK the Hindus, the Sikhs and the atheists in particular should be getting VERY angry at having halal forced upon them] should also **object to having to contribute to the fees for certification agencies, espeically when these are used for Islamic mission** {my emphasis - dda}. It seems fair that these costs be borne solely by the Muslims who ask for them".

"Christians (and everyone else who is not a Muslim - dda) ought to challenge the view that the majority of people ought to follow the practices of a minority. So we should ask for *choice* - requesting that commercial outlets [e.g. fast food chains - dda] and public institutions [such as schools and hotels - dda] that sell halal food products also provide non-halal choices for non-Muslims. And we should support the clear *labelling* of all halal products, so that no-one has to buy or consume them without knowing it". END QUOTE.

In all majority non-Muslim lands, even if the current Muslim colony is as large as 10 or 20 or 30 percent, halal - halal meat, or halal anything else - should NOT be the 'default', unlabelled norm.

Consumer choice organisations should be taking this matter up, loudly.

A further observation: if you end up with all meat having to be halal, even in a majority non-Muslim country, what happens to non-Muslim abattoir operators and slaughtermen and meatworkers? Are they out of a job? Do you end up with a Muslim monopoly of the entire non-pork meat industry, virtually from field to table?
