Boston police commissioner: Jihad murderers “were going to attack other individuals”

They had so much ordnance that this seems likely — but who was supplying and training them? “Boston Officials: Bombing Suspects “˜Were Going to Attack Other Individuals,– from the Associated Press, April 21:

WASHINGTON (AP) “” Investigators believe the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing were likely planning other attacks based on the cache of weapons uncovered, the city”s police commissioner said Sunday.

Commissioner Ed Davis told CBS” “Face the Nation” that authorities found an arsenal of homemade explosives after a gun battle between police and the suspects in the Boston suburb of Watertown early Friday.

“We have reason to believe, based upon the evidence that was found at that scene — the explosions, the explosive ordnance that was unexploded and the firepower that they had — that they were going to attack other individuals,” Davis said. “That’s my belief at this point.”

One suspect, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was fatally wounded in the gun battle, and his brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar, escaped, authorities said. The two threw explosive devices at police in their getaway attempt, authorities said.

“There were over 250 rounds of extended ammunition that was found at the scene. This was a five- to 10-minute gun battle that occurred there, punctuated by loud explosions,” Davis said, adding that the explosive devices were homemade.

The scene was loaded with unexploded bombs, and authorities had to alert arriving officers to them and clear the scene, Davis said. One improvised explosive device was found in the Mercedes the brothers are accused of carjacking, he said….

I’m convinced the reason they were on the MIT campus was to plant bombs. Perhaps it just happened the two brothers came across the MIT police officer and shot him. Either that, or they shot him to make it possible to break into a building (say if he was obviously watching a building they’d targeted and he wasn’t going to give them a chance to get into it — that tower is one of the main MIT signature buildings) to plant a bomb. Maybe they shot him simply because they’d decided to shoot any police officers given the opportunity.

It seems they had NO CLUE just how extensive the surveillance cameras were in the downtown Boston area. (Thank goodness for small mercies!!! What if we didn’t have those cameras?) After the bombing they went about their lives thinking they’d pulled off the bombing without a chance of detection. This may be why they told their father and uncle, “Oh, yeah, everything’s great.” only to get into the running gun battle 2 days later. Once the police started zeroing in on their faces, they knew it was game over and they had to move ahead with whatever other bombing and mayhem they had planned.

Even more carnage planned? Ya’ don’t say?

Still, remember folks, this has nothing to do with Islam. No, nothing at all. Perhaps a distortion of that great, peaceful, tolerant religion founded by the Model Man but NOTHING to do with the religion itself.

Absurd? You bet. Welcome to the Age of Nonsense in which we live.

“Were Going to Attack Other Individuals,’
I hardly think that’s likely. They were bent on terrorism, not assassination. Did the jihadis of Beslan or Mumbai or London 7/7 attack individuals?
