Kerry claims that the number of countries ready to attack Syria has reached “double digits,” doesn’t name them

Liechtenstein? Luxembourg? Andorra? San Marino? Monaco? Seychelles? Tuvalu? Tannu Tuva? No, not even them. Kerry didn’t name them because he doesn’t have them. He is bluffing. “Kerry Cites Broad Backing for Syria Strike,” by Larence Norman, Stacy Meichtry and Inti Landauro for the Wall Street Journal, September 8:

PARIS””The number of countries ready to take military action in Syria has reached “double digits,” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Saturday after European Union foreign ministers agreed there was strong evidence the regime of Bashar al-Assad was behind the alleged use of chemical weapons against rebels.

Mr. Kerry was speaking at a joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius that sought to address deep skepticism among lawmakers and the public in both countries. Washington and Paris are pushing to assemble a broad international coalition of countries that support possible strikes on the Assad regime in order to persuade Congress to vote in favor of authorizing military action.

NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen speaks during the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy Conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, Saturday.

WSJ”s Patrick O”Connor says any boost Obama’s Syria plans received from GOP leaders” backing quickly faded due to deep doubts among rank-and-file lawmakers. Obama still has convincing to do.

“There are a number of countries in the double digits, who are prepared to take military action,” said Mr. Kerry, without naming the countries. France and Denmark are among the EU governments who say they could join U.S. led strikes….

Meanwhile, the numbers of Muslim countries that routinely persecute and murder non-Muslims while hiding behind the name of Allah is “Double Digits”

Yet, Kerry and Obama squirm and jump away from this as if they were doing a “Double Dutch” jump rope routine.

I think American leaders are just following the same instinct as the terrorist so-called Muslims: they are just trying to spread their own values to other people who are not ready for them. Terrorists want to spread Islam as they understand it and have audacity to play god by enforcing rules that only the All-Knowing Allah can do properly, while Americans try to spread their religion of freedom and democracy to people who are not ready for them. They betray a total lack of understanding of the Muslim world: Muslims need strong, individual leaders, not democracy which as people are very religious nearly always leads to the audacity of trying to be holier than even our Prophet(PBUH)

But the greatest secret that few know, is that Allah himself has made people of Muslim blood unable to accept the values of Western thought like freedom or democracy, while Westerners cannot accept Islam with their current physiology, and they also argue that it is wrong to be imposing Western values on Muslims because our constitution does not allow us to accept them. So this means that any war will inevitably lead to stalemate, which is why I believe that peace is better for both our peoples.

    *****

I think he meant counties. The counties encompassing the liberal cesspools of,
    San Jose
    San Francisco
    Seattle
    Portland
    Santa Fe
    Madison
    Cambridge
    Boston
    Washington DC
    Manhattan
Brooklyn (at least the tony zip codes)
Chicago (at least the tony zip codes)

    That’s 57, isn’t it?

    No Argentina?

    Surely some mistake?

Note to Obama. Before pissing off a country think maybe in the very near future that country will reciprocate in kind.

The dumbo didn’t even get the deliberately Brit taunting Malvinas name right, the Maldives are in the Indian Ocean you idiot.

So will he go it alone?

Or will he pretend, like his red lines that he isn’t all that bothered anyway? That this is some international wheeze and he’s just going along for the ride?

One thing, he sure has lost that cockiness.

This just in. Kerry has released the double digit number of allies to join the Syrian strike. It’s “00”. With support like that no wonder he’s so eager to go to war.

  6. says

I THINK THAT YOU ARE ALL MISTAKEN.

    KERRY IS CORRECT.

WHAT HE LEAVES OUT IS, IT IS NOT THE COUNTRIES, BUT THE JIHAD LOVERS IN THESE COUNTRIES–IE. THE TURKS FROM GERMANY; NORTH AFRICAN MUSLIMS FROM FRANCE; ETC (IF NOT THEY, THEIR CHILDREN).

THEY WILL FIGHT ANY JIHAD ANYWHERE, BUT NOW, UNCLE SAP WILL GIVE THEM WEAPONS, SO THAT THEY CAN ALSO KILL AMERICANS.

ONE MUST UNDERSTAND POLITICIANS AND THEIR LIES AND LYING METHODS.

    [people of Muslim blood]?

What does that mean is it red or green or something in between?

    [people of Muslim blood]?
    That makes no sense
