Christmas in Iraq: Islamic jihadists murder at least 34 people with bomb attacks in Christian areas

“At least 34 people were killed in bomb attacks in Christian areas of Baghdad on Wednesday, some by a car bomb that exploded near a church after a Christmas service.” But remember: no one cares. Caring would be “Islamophobic.”

“Christmas bomb attacks kill 34 in Baghdad’s Christian areas,” from the Reuters, December 25 (thanks to Filip):

At least 34 people were killed in bomb attacks in Christian areas of Baghdad on Wednesday, some by a car bomb that exploded near a church after a Christmas service, police and medics said.

The car bomb killed at least 24 people, most of them Christian, when worshippers were leaving the church in the Doura district of southern Baghdad, police sources said.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Violence in Iraq has risen to its worst levels in more than five years as hardline Sunni militants linked to al Qaeda step up attacks on the Shi’ite-led government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and anyone seen as supporting it. Many thousands have been killed in attacks this year.

The minority Christian community has been a target of attacks by al Qaeda militants in the past, including a 2010 attack on a church that killed dozens of people.

Two bombs also went off in a crowded market in a separate, mostly Christian area in Doura, killing another ten people, police and medics said.

At least 52 people were wounded in the attacks.

A series of car bombs, shootings and suicide attacks killed scores of Shi’ite Muslim pilgrims in the week before the Shi’ite holy day of Arbaeen, which coincided with Christmas Eve this year.

The root cause: 9:111 “slay and are slain” for promised paradise “that is the archivement supreme”

Bukhari Vol. 4, Book 52 “Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)”, No. 72 ‘…Our Prophet told us about the message of our Lord that “Whoever amongst us is killed (as a martyr, ‘be maryred ten time’, ‘Mujahid’) will go to Paradise.”…’

The fate of these Christians show us the future we face if we continue to be cowardly and not stand up to the Muslim bullies.
    1. we must stop buying their product (true energy independence)
    2. judge Muslim by the same standard as we do ourselves – murderers are murderers, even if they are not white westerners
    3. realize that most bullies back off once their nose has been bloodied, and Muslims have permission from “allah” to back off from terror when it won’t succeed in advancing Islam
    4. pray for the conversion of hundreds of millions of Muslims. These are brainwashed misled people under the sway of a totalitarian system, just as if your own neighborhood were controlled by an organized crime gang. Help the persecuted Christians in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia by educating your Congressional representatives and your friends and family. Pray for these beleaguered people that they will indeed by their example be the “seed of the Church” even as they suffer.
    5. educate ourselves and others about the Muslim problem – that it won’t go away, that it is rooted in the teachings of Islam, that claiming Islam is a “religion of peace” plays into the hands of terrorists
    6. understanding that even if only a “small minority” would actually act in accordance with the teachings of Islam, that “small minority” adds up to many millions of dangerous people. A friend of mine countered this thought with “not all Muslims are terrorists”. That does not matter! Virtually all Muslims are either too afraid of terrorists to say or do anything to stop them, or are sympathetic to them but wouldn’t do jihad themselves, or assist the jihadis is some way. Good for the peaceful Muslims! But they are few, and rowing upstream.

…and oddly enough, where is the one place where Christians are not only allowed, but encouraged to seek their faith? Israel, the Jewish state.

We know what will happen where Islamic theocracies are allowed to take root. They even tell us that they will do this. But nobody believes it. We do not want to think poorly of our neighbors.

But we must. Evil still happens. We would like to think we live in places where civilization prevents it. Gosh, many would have us even go so far as to disarm because of it. But we should not. We are civilized because we are strong, not because we are nice people.

Islam, if given power, would dominate the world and do nothing to encourage diversity of thought. It would stagnate the progress the West has made since the Renaissance.

While it does, in great measure, seem that “no one cares”, that is not true.

Where it counts, the point at which politicians can and will talk about that issue, begins (IMO) with the increasingly frequent news coverage of these horrid events.

When reporters report honestly and accurately, it gives poloticians the opening they need to address the issue without the fear of spending the rest of their careers in political

To that end, reporting these events has been on the upswing at Fox News and other outlets.

Are they and politicians doing enough, now?

But the increased reporting is noteworthy to me.

The only answer to the scourge of islam a completely secular society. Science needs to finally prove there’s no imaginary, invisible big guy in the sky.

I hurt so much to hear about all the murders of Christians in Iraq and in all Islamic countries.

Why cant they stop this madness and savageness at least for one day ?

I know the answer to this question, but I do not want to dirty my post by actually naming the reason for this latest crimes.

To worship one’s sociopathic vanity would appear unseemly.
But, Islam’s filth is no longer so easily hidden.

Muslims don’t actually believe in God.
Allah in Islam is merely a stage prop.
Allah is shamelessly used to attempt to pass off Muhammad’s pathetic hoax.

  8. says

… for promised paradise “that is the archivement supreme”…

And what a paradise it is. Jannat, Moslem heaven, is an Men’s Only club except for the houris, the pubescent little girls. If you swing that way, little boys too, like hidden pearls. The flowing streams are spiked with Cialis, so there’s no problem executing on exaltation. Thrones, fruit & cheese plates… it’s the holiest possible image that a hairy 7th century Arabian could imagine.

At least 34 people were killed in bomb attacks in Christian areas of Baghdad on Wednesday, some by a car bomb that exploded near a church after a Christmas service…

There is no persecution of Christians in Dar al-Islam, and even if there were the ruling elites in the West are empathetic to it. These are random sporadic man-caused kinetic actions, probably impelled by poverty, lack of education, white colonialism, blah blah blaaaah.

  9. says

Thanks for the link, Salah — and that nice piece of Egyptian news.

Will the West follow this terrific example?
“… a sweeping decision Tuesday aimed at draining the Brotherhood’s finances by freezing the funds of more than 1,000 non-government organizations with links to the group (MB).”
Can we emulate the firmness and courage of Egypt officials by freezing the assets of our more than 3,000 terrorist-front organizations in the US?

  10. says

“The Egyptians understand what Odumba doesn’t: the MB is an Arab version of Hitlerism.

Odumba does understand it all right. But he doesn’t care as long that version of “Hitlerism” is used for the right purpose. The guy is a classic fascist. Not as bright as Lenin or Mussolini, far from it, but fascist all the way.

  11. says

“The only answer to the scourge of islam a completely secular society. Science needs to finally prove there’s no imaginary, invisible big guy in the sky.”

If you want to remind science what “science needs to finally prove” you should post on websites dealing with scientific matters – “Scientific American” comes to mind.
I am sure scientists will heed your prompt and double their efforts (until now ineffective) to prove “there’s no imaginary big guy in the sky”.

  12. says

Muslims believe in one almighty God, creator of all things, visible and invisible. They’ve been duped, so they worship the wrong god.
    They have, let’s say…”an excuse”. Atheists don’t.

  13. says

    @ hynzerelli –

I don’t know of any religion that teaches there’s an “imaginary, invisible big guy in the sky.” That is not even what Islam claims.

Even if there were such a religion teaching such a thing, science couldn’t speak to it one way or the other. If such a being doesn’t exist, you can’t really prove a negative, and especially not by scientific means.

As to “completely secular societies”, we’ve tried those. Hasn’t worked out so well.

  14. says

Be careful of what you worship. Either you are not truly scientific, or you are worshipping a false god…science, which cannot do as you ask.
