Interfaith outreach in Syria: Missile hits Catholic school, one child dead, 61 injured

Armenian School SyriaShhh! Do not speak of this! “Talk about extreme, militant Islamists and the atrocities that they have perpetrated globally might undercut the positive achievements that we Catholics have attained in our inter-religious dialogue with devout Muslims.” — Robert McManus, Roman Catholic Bishop of Worcester, Massachusetts, February 8, 2013

“ASIA/SYRIA – A missile on an Armenian Catholic school: a child killed, 61 injured,” from Agenzia Fides, April 15:

Damascus (Agenzia Fides) – A child died, 61 people were injured: children, parents and teachers. This is the tragic toll of the missile which hit the Armenian Catholic school in Damascus, in the historic district of Bab Tuma, in the old town, where there are many churches and Christian schools. “This morning, around 7.30 am” says father George Bahi, a priest of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate of Damascus to Fides Agency “a missile fell on the crowd of children, parents and teachers who were waiting for the school to open. One child died and 61 children and adults were injured. Rescuers arrived immediately and the injured were taken to three hospitals in the area. We are all shocked by what happened”. Shame on this bishop from Massachusetts! Talk about sweeping the dirt under the rug!!! Seems to me he needs to wake up and smell the camel feces–AND URINE, not to mention, the rotten cadavers!!!
    I’d say he is a perfect illustration of the ‘blind leading the blind’!

    If the Free Syrian Army AKA The Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda et al, had got there first, they would have finished the job according to the best traditions of the Koran in dealing with Christians and Jews—-men beheaded, women raped and children carried off and sold as sex slaves to paedophiles.

    McManus is such a fool who’s giving dangerous advice! …”devout muslims” are evil and intend on islamic supremacy and jihad; so you can’t make a silk purse out of sow’s ear, dontcha know. Wow he needs to stop talking.

    No one cares its the nasty Christians that the left dearly hopes to eliminate from this earth because of their problematic opposition to abortion and homosexual marriage. Muslims on the other hand are free to promte hanging homosexuals and ban abortion due to their religious beliefs. Freedom of religion you see. Yes the left is that fracking crazy and confused.

    Imam obama is accomplishing his goals via arming the savage killers of Christians. Congrats imam obama! Not!

    Quickly, someone warn CAIR that they need to flood the news with Pallywood propaganda and numbers of civilians killed in the second gulf war, otherwise people might inquire to why someone launched a missile against a catholic school!

    Anyone who thinks they can make nice with folks aew sadly mistaken. They are blood thirsty barbarians. They love to kill. They do not care about anyone, not even children. They kill and abuse their own children so why would they think highly of other peoples children???? They love death, not life. They are very mixed up and misguided folks.

    Bishop Robert McManus must be a very good Christian, but an extremely naïve one, who cannot see evil where evil is. There is no cure for people like that.

      @Dawid ben Haggai,

      Nobody who cannot see evil where evil is can be a good Christian. Or a Jew.

    When a maniac is hanging off your arm by his teeth, is no time to be thinking of outreach.
