U.S. “switched sides in the war on terror,” allowed $500 million of weapons to reach al-Qaeda jihadists

Clinton-Benghazi-G1-620x362It’s really no wonder that things have fallen out the way they have. When there is an administration in Washington that has essentially “switched sides” and is aiding the jihadis who murdered 3,000 Americans on 9/11, and the mainstream media is avid to protect that administration from the slightest hint of adverse publicity, it is no surprise that those who speak clearly about the jihad terror threat are demonized and smeared, and shunned by the clueless and cowardly. The entire world is upside down, and there is no one in any position of significant power or influence who is standing against the West’s headlong rush to suicide.

“Benghazi attack could have been prevented if US hadn’t ‘switched sides in the War on Terror’ and allowed $500 MILLION of weapons to reach al-Qaeda militants, reveals damning report,” by David Martosko, Daily Mail, April 22:

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn’t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier.

‘The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,’ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline.

She blamed the Obama administration for failing to stop half of a $1 billion United Arab Emirates arms shipment from reaching al-Qaeda-linked militants.

‘Remember, these weapons that came into Benghazi were permitted to enter by our armed forces who were blockading the approaches from air and sea,’ Lopez claimed. ‘They were permitted to come in. … [They] knew these weapons were coming in, and that was allowed..

‘The intelligence community was part of that, the Department of State was part of that, and certainly that means that the top leadership of the United States, our national security leadership, and potentially Congress – if they were briefed on this – also knew about this.’

The weapons were intended for Gaddafi but allowed by the U.S. to flow to his Islamist opposition.

‘The White House and senior Congressional members,’ the group wrote in an interim report released Tuesday, ‘deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler [Muammar Gaddafi] who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress al-Qaeda.’

‘Some look at it as treason,’ said Wayne Simmons, a former CIA officer who participated in the commission’s research.

Retired Rear Admiral Chuck Kubic, another commission member, told reporters Tuesday that those weapons are now ‘all in Syria.’…

Run, Hillary, run — as far away as you can; you still have your hands covered in blood.

I’m 100% confident Hilary will be the next POTUS. People vote based on their emotions, not because of rational consideration of policy. The first female POTUS is just too emotional a possibility to pass up. The Republicans are dead in the water, they don’t stand a chance in hell, just like the previous election.

The good news is that after two terms of Clinton, the US will be so wrecked that the electorate will have no choice but to turn the other way, so emotionally drained they will be at the end of it.

things can only get better after that. Big Government is dying, we have been witnessing its death throes since ’07.

But it will try everything it can to preserve the status quo. They will try to steal from and regulate their people to destruction. We are witnessing this right now in the US and EU, and it’s going to get much worse…

I share your short-term pessimism, joeb, and for many of the same reasons. We also have a 150% complicit MSM which really, really, really wants the corrupt, characterless, side-switching, and proven incompetent Shrillary Shrew as first female POTUS.

My big fear, however, is that a Shrillary presidency will probably do even more damage to the USA which the country might not be able to sustain. It may also be the case that this b***h-goddess’s suspicion of First Amendment rights for opponents will also necessitate some kind of political violence to get the country back on track; and I ABHOR political violence. May God not enter into such a dread temporal judgment with His American servants!

The US and EU are bankrupt. The financial crisis that hit in ’07 was not the beginning of the demise of capitalism, as is popularly promulgated, but of western socialist Big Government. We’re going to see more and more civil unrest in the west over the next ten years, and more shooting wars all over the world as the already militarily impotent EU and increasingly impotent US withdraw from the world stage – because they simply can’t afford it.

things are definitely going to get much worse, but I see light at the end of the tunnel – small government, low taxes, low regulation; sensible adults in charge, socialism put on the funeral pyre of failed ideas once and for all.

I’m still holding out for a miracle. I know polls show Hillary is wildly popular, but I know a lot of Democrats who hate her, so I still have a bit of hope.

by that time the U.S.A. will just be another totalitarian communist country, that has been the plan for the last 75 years and it is almost complete.

It is treason and heads should roll. This article should be printed in every American newspaper, but it won’t be. Maybe Megan Kelley will run with it.

There are many people that owe Alex Jones and his listeners for the last ten years an apology about several issues where he has been dismissed as a “conspiracy theorist”. This is one of those issues. Open your ears, minds and hearts.

The worst thing is that the Western “position” is so terribly muddled that many don’t even understand that we have switched sides.
