This comes just after an Islamic State group threatened to blow up a store in Seoul.
“Lebanese Daesh supporters busted with bomb material in South Korea,” Al-Bawaba, October 27, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):
Five Lebanese “ISIS sympathizers” were arrested in South Korea after being caught trying to smuggle bomb-making material to their native homeland, Seoul’s state-run Yonhap news agency said.
The agency reported late Monday that the five were detained after trying to smuggle ammonium nitrate, which is used to manufacture bombs. It did not specify where they were arrested.
MP Lee Cheol-woo told Korea’s MBC radio that the five unnamed suspects are expected to be deported to Lebanon after investigations are conducted.
