SIMON ATEBA reports that the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje disclosed this on Sunday during a reception organized by Manarul Hudah Islamiyya, Kano in honour of Umar Sani Fagge, a lecturer with Bayero University, Kano, who recently bagged Doctorate Degree from the university.
He explained that Saudi Arabia has pledged to support the government of Kano state to achieve the objectives of Arabic the language introduction, pointing out that learning the language would not only facilitate religious scholarship but also commerce.
