The Herts & Essex Observer says that Cubeyda Hassan Jama is a “Finnish national,” and gives no hint about what kind of terrorism he was engaged in other than his name. This is common journalistic practice, and is deliberately misleading. Those who are uninformed, and they are legion, will have no idea that Jama is just another Islamic jihadist; their ignorance and complacency will be unshaken.
Does Cubeyda Hassan Jama consider himself Finnish? Is this an example of “Finnish terrorism,” or just of the craven irresponsibility of the journalistic establishment?

A teenager has been charged with terrorism offences after he was arrested at Stansted Airport on Friday (February 5).
Cubeyda Hassan Jama, 19, a Finnish national of London Road in Thornton Heath, south London, was charged yesterday evening with engaging in conduct in preparation for giving effect to intention to commit acts of terrorism, contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
