Inigo Montoya: He’s dead. He can’t talk.
Miracle Max: Whoo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead.
There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.
(The Princess Bride)
Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t written anything at Jihad Watch or anywhere else since late April. The reason for this is that my heart stopped.
About six weeks ago, while I was already in the hospital for pneumonia, I suffered heart failure, kidney failure, respiratory failure — you name it, I failed at it. I was airlifted by helicopter from one hospital to another (alas, I don’t remember this adventure) and hooked up to every machine the doctors could find a way to plug me into. Finally, yesterday, I left the hospital (this time, alas, not by helicopter), with most organs having recovered passing grades.
I owe an immense debt of gratitude — indeed, I owe my very life — to the many doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals who helped me get from the time when I had no pulse to this moment. Except for a couple of brief interludes, I was unconscious for about twelve days in late April and early May, so I wasn’t even aware of the presence of many of them, but that doesn’t dim my gratitude. While I had no pulse and was out, I was nowhere: I saw no all-encompassing light, and I heard no voices, a fact which I believe carries no metaphysical or spiritual significance. But I have had ample opportunity to reflect, and I came to some realizations that everyone knows but that many often forget: life is good. Be grateful. Love your family. Consider the lilies. Don’t take things so seriously. Don’t take yourself so seriously. All God’s days are beautiful days. Etc.
And I realized one other thing: the astounding medical technology that pulled me back from nowhere developed, and only could have developed, in a free society. That makes the struggle for freedom of which Jihad Watch and my body of work is an infinitesimal part all the more important. With the darkness and totalitarianism against which we are struggling comes immense human misery. Let us then, with malice toward none and charity for all, continue to strive as long as we have the ability to do so. We owe it to our children, and all children, to try to leave the world as livable a place as we possibly can.
So I hope to be back at it, gradually, in the coming days and weeks. I want to express my warmest thanks to all the faithful readers of Jihad Watch, to Christine Douglass-Williams, who indefatigably and expertly kept the site going in my absence, to all those who contributed articles, and above all to those who offered prayers and good wishes on my behalf. Your prayers were heard, your good wishes granted, and I love you all.

Uh! I am so glad you are okay but I had other visions dancing in my head.
I hope you enjoy the list:
1. You had escaped to a tropical beach and were laying under the shade of a palm tree with one of those little umbrella drinks, laughing about some of the crazy comments and events here.
I would not blame you one bit.
2. You had found some secret way to attend that big globalist meeting in Switzerland in a clandestine way as a spy to see what they were up to.
3. You were fighting for freedom of speech in some big courtroom case.
4. You were working on some big new secret project.
5. You were invited to secretly tour the UK along with Trump and gave some conferences there behind closed doors and met with Tommy.
6. Some other similar scenario as those above.
7. You really were sick, or someone in your family, or some big family event was taking place that takes a while, and I was hoping it wasn’t this option but I did pray anyway.
Thank God you are okay!

To dear Robert: Hallelujah!!! please come back slowly though. Nothing would make the other side happier than to have you go down again. You’ve been in my thoughts and prayers ever since Iceland. Its a given that you have adequate security for yourself and your family. Sad commentary on the world today when you have to hire security just to exercise freedom of speech. Thinking of Girt Wilders, Tommy R, Pamela G, Paul Weston and all the others who are involved in the battle.
To SS — what an incredible idiot you are. However, JW supporters, let the idiot have his way with his posts as it will only prove time and time again the insanity of .slam. To Al Lah,the one legged muslim god who according to muhammed has two right hands?
The god who doesn’t understand science, the very science used to help Mr Spencer’s recovery?
“Prayers” to the fake pagan Arab god,Al Lah Hu bAAL{The BEST of deceivers k3;54″}are quite worthless:they just don’t count..
5 times a day “praying” to an Arab pagan god…
Al Lah has not gifted his Abdools with the Wisdom and understanding to see that.
I mean the fact that 1. Al lah DISAGREES with and teaches the OPPOSITE to the official Biblical laws of God and 2 the “prophet” muhammed ADMITTED he was a liar {al tabari 6;111} and proved it when he died{note how Lah didn’t save muhammed from being poisoned..}should be sufficient for the intellectually challenged Lah worshippers to figure out the fakery of a false god,a false prophet and a false ‘holy’ book.

Avoid the UK too – many deadly enemies there including the Labour leaders, the London mayor, the Islamophilic Police and the Home ministry. Their hospitals are chock full of Pakistani and ME staff as well – among other horrors, they may not believe in Hippocrates.

carpediadem says
“Subjects”? What slave talk is this!? What the hell is wrong with you? And how dare you speak for others in defining the students of jihad here who love and respect Robert but do not look to subjugate themselves anew?
Robert does a wonderful job and has wonderful people contributing to this blog. It’s about freedom and truth of Islam not a different kind of slavery, for goodness’ sake!
Robert’s many readers learn and contribute to this blog and educate others via his good offices which also provides him with a living, and well deserved it is. But this is a teaching, learning and publishing experience via a good man who decided to contribute his considerable time and scholarship to such matters, not a cult with slaves and servants. How dare you frame it in such anti freedom terms.
Your post has a serious problem of perceptions about humanity..
Jean (old) says
carpediadem.
Relax. You quite misunderstand the poster.
A slave is not, in fact, a subject, but an object from the point of view of the ‘owner’: a thing. A subject means something quite different: Namely, a person who places himself (voluntarily!) in allegiance to a king.
Americans, of course, are quite biased against kings because of their revolutionary history and tend not to differentiate between them and tyrants. But there is a world of difference.
I think the joy expressed by Ms. Stuercke is meant to recall the loyal love knights have for their liege lord, and I get how that association came to her.
People express themselves differently. Ms. Stuercke may simply refer in a poetical way to how Robert has succeeded in gathering about him many counterjihadis who fight with their spirit and intellect against an abysmal evil in a dark age. Like Arthur and his Round Table.
Are you OK with that?
After all, Robert has laid his life on the line for the freedom of the many. This is the true vocation of a king. In the words of C. S. Lewis:
“For this is what it means to be a king: to be first in every desperate attack and last in every desperate retreat, and when there’s hunger in the land (as must be now and then in bad years) to wear finer clothes and laugh louder over a scantier meal than any man in your land.”
I’m not saying Robert should be crowned, or that people should kneel before him (he would detest that himself, I’m sure); but I see no evil in expressing that kind of loyalty towards his great effort and the difference it has made. Few in this age have done as much.
somehistory says
Jean (old)
for the most part, I agree with your comment. subject and slave are not the same.
However, a person can be “subject” to a king and it not be “voluntary.” If one lives in a land where there is a king, that one might not wish to live under the rule of the said king.
One other point: Americans…many may think as you stated about kings and tyranny. However, many others may clearly see the point that was made by the poster who used the word “subject” in relation to Mr. Spencer and his readers and supporters. Americans don’t fit in one little hole like a certain sized peg. there are many variants in feelings and understandings. 🙂
Jean (old) says
somehistory
– “a person can be “subject” to a king and it not be “voluntary.” If one lives in a land where there is a king, that one might not wish to live under the rule of the said king.”
Yes, I am describing the idea behind the institution of kingship, which is that the king and the subject are making a mutual agreement of service. One may also live in a republic with a head of state whose rule one does most emphatically not wish to live under – though said ruler was democratically elected, and one did vote in the election.
– “Americans don’t fit in one little hole like a certain sized peg.”
Obviously. I wrote “tend to” to indicate that. It is unfortunate that we are being conditioned by the MSM to react as if we do not understand how generalization works. Let’s stop that pretense. You know very well that I did not state anything so absurd.
Language itself cannot function if we drop generalization. Your reply “many may think as you stated about kings and tyranny” shows you recognize from experience the tendency I referred to; no need (or sense) to take it any further than that.
SJWs rely in their terror tactics to a large extent on such false pretences.
(“Not all muslims are terrorists!” – No, and no one on Earth would make such an absurd claim. Forcing someone else to waste energy defending themselves against the absurd is an excellent obfuscation tactic.)
Let us disarm them by understanding one another as well as we actually do! 🙂

I have often wondered how Robert Spencer manages to be so prolific. As it turned out he nearly worked himself to death trying to save the world. I have often described Robert Spencer as his generation’s Churchill. He is a knowledgeable and courageous voice crying in the wilderness. Please take better care of yourself Robert. Sunday is a day of rest. Take Saturdays off as well. Take time not just to smell the flowers but to plant some as well. I spent today planting tomatoes and flowers.
We are grateful that God has decided that your work here is not done. I wish you a full recovery.
gravenimage says
So true, Terry–as much as we have missed Robert, I hope he takes is slow now.
mummymovie says
Indeed: There is so much islamic jihad-related news to cover these days, it is impossible to cover the sheer volume of it; and so perhaps you shouldn’t really try, Robert.
Troublingly, gone are the days when manufactured incidents of hijabs purportedly being forcibly removed (for instance) and the subsequent fraudulent claims of anti-Muslim bigotry/hate crimes were enough to make the pages of Jihad Watch: This kind of victimhood subterfuge is going on all over the place now, as daily occurrences.
Unfortunately -despite a few positive developments of late around the world here and there- things have become much more serious lately: As the ummah is smelling blood in the water and has picked up the scent, the global islamic jihad has accordingly picked up the pace and gained serious momentum, with world domination on the horizon and in-sight right now perceptibly to many Muslims.
European elections have yielded encouraging results (with some exceptions like Duisberg), but here in America, we are blind as bats, headed down the same road much of Europe now wishes it had never gone down, as the Dhimmicrat Presedential primaries have become a circus of extremist SJW commies brazenly trying to out-perform each other with foolish feats of precedent-setting pandering and dangerously radical proposals, and with “Big Tech” now having pretty much unanimously openly solidified its alliance with the global islamic hijra and jihad murder.
So as much as you’ve enlightened us thus far, Robert, we need your leadership more as much as ever, and we need you to stick around for awhile. Perhaps you should take it easy on yourself, and let some of the other outlets log and address the volumes of news as they accumulate.
Christine is a superior journalist to most, and she deserves a ton of credit and gratitude. Thank you, Christine.
What a morale-boost to have you back, Robert! Get well, and stay well.
tim gallagher says
Terry, I have often had exactly the same thought as you are expressing. I’ve often thought that Robert is working too damned hard (what with Jihad Watch, all those books, TV appearances, etc) and I’ve often thought, how the hell does this guy do so much. Robert, it’s fantastic to hear that you are OK. Well, maybe your health is still not that great yet. I hope you keep on doing your invaluable work, but take things a bit more easily, as gravenimage suggests. Even though I believe that the work you do in fighting against barbaric Islam is extraordinarily important, getting back your health is the main thing. I agree with you, mummymovie, that Christine is doing a great job.

Seconding that. I think Mr Spencer needs to *rest* and make sure he is fully recovered. He’s needed… so that is precisely why he needs to take timeout, now, for what generals call “R & R”. Good food, plenty of sleep, plenty of love and attention from his nearest-and-dearest, and plenty of sunshine to get the Vitamin D levels up. Jihadwatch managed to survive without him and can survive a bit longer. And I for one will keep right on praying for his good health and safety.. *and* for his family.

Ever since Robert’s departure, I have been searching for any news about him hoping to find he would be coming back healthy and strong. Robert, apparently what you have been through was truly harrowing.
Welcome back!! You were greatly missed.

I personally did not know you were ill, Mr. Spencer. I was unable to see, even to raise my head to try to read any items here for more than a month. My daughter did inform me that Ms. Williams and Mr. Greenfield had posts, but none from you. I thought that you were taking a much-needed break.
Had I known that you were in the grip of such life-threatening circumstances, I would have been anxious to hear better news. However, because in my daily prayers, I ask that our God help all those who are “fighting the fine fight” and love what is right and True, you were included in those.
Thank you for loving life and fighting for it. And for all you do to see that people have the Truth about the evil scourge that is being foisted upon mankind.

Pardon my copy and paste but is much better than my typing.
Luke 2:39-52 46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
I gather from this text that The Great Physician knows how to delegate. Hmmmm?
Glad your back!!!!

It is So good to see you back, Robert, you are truly indispensable in the ideological battle against the Islamic enemy, and I hope you rest some more before leading the way again. And thanks for filling us in on what happened, as I was very worried about you.
cornelius says
Welcome back among the living Fearless Leader. What a blessing that you somehow eluded the grim reaper. At least SOME of your opponents must be crest fallen. Most are probably feeling at the very least irritated at your characteristic stubbornness and tenacity….this time out resulting in your ability to survive such an ordeal. One can imagine the likes of Reza Aslan scratching his head in bewilderment….wondering how his precious Allah would allow Robert Spencer to cheat death in order to carry on the counter-Jihad.
May you live another 50 years. May you use your new-found perspective to embrace life to the maximum. May you carry on your noble struggle in defense of human freedom. And may you shatter the scared cows of the Islamo-left with renewed vigor….to devastating effect.
We love you Robert!
Bosch Fawstin says
Here’s what I wrote about Robert, after I had the honor of having him as my debate partner in a 2011 debate titled Islam vs. “Islamism”: I can’t imagine where we’d be without the work of Robert Spencer. I think he’s the most consistent, articulate truth teller about Islam in the world, and the daily ideological battle he wages at Jihad Watch has helped arm me and countless individuals with the knowledge we need in order to join the fight we’ve all been forced into by the enemy.

Perfectly said, Bosch!

Robert, I thank God for your recovery! For the follower of Jesus, this earthly life is merely the prelude to eternity with Him. We should make it our aim to spend each precious moment in devotion to God and in communicating His love to others. I hope God chooses to extend your stay here for many more years and that you will be able to continue your important work. Bust we should all be thankful (as you said), knowing that our lives are ultimately in His hands. Thank you for all that you have done to advance awareness of a major threat to Christians everywhere… and to our very civilization.

To Robert this is a day of relief and good news I am very happy to know you are still with us in this world. There was very little information, but enough concern to sense something seriously wrong, everything crosses your mind. Every day I would pull of the site, just for any news. Nothing. So relieved that you survived and maybe almost all my prayers were answered. During the same time I did loose a brother also somewhat sudden, his “care” will remain for me concerning. Thank you for letting your readers know what happened, your work has been relentless and I so respect your effort to expose what has been so hidden but also in plain site and for your concern for humanity and the need for accurate information.

I prayed for you, mostly that no one in your family had been hurt, never realizing that it was you yourself who was in trouble. Now I will thank God that He let you stay here to keep fighting the good fight, to help others see the evil, know the good, understand things in the correct perspective. Also will include prayers of thanks to God for your medical staff and of course your family, Christine and all others who kept Jihad Watch going. If today’s medical knowledge and progress, were available at that time..I’m sure many others would say the same for lost loved ones.
Robert I sure hope and and pray that you continue to heal and will be back helping us to see what the elites don’t want us to see.

I pray for your continued recovery and longevity. God knows we need you Robert among the living to fight the good fight. As a doctor, I’m thinking if you had pneumonia (what kind?) it was complicated by septic shock. Medicine is not a “right”…it’s a highly technical service provided by the hard work and training of skilled humanitarian professionals who don’t want to work as slaves of an authoritarian government.

I suspected, especially with such a long absence, that something significant had happened. I thought of the possibility of a serious illness, not one slow in onset, but one that could have come on suddenly. Yet as time passed by, and with such a long absence gave me a lingering feeling (more a desire) that maybe it could be something else, something like a super secret mission in which he was swiftly conveyed into the bowels of the labyrinthine chambers of this monstrosity of a failed government, a mission so important it needed his total undisturbed attention, having to drop everything in midstream, including the management of his website, to spread the civilization-saving prescription among those souls lost in the foggy caverns, and to thread the path leading them out to the illumined entrance.
I am sorry to hear of his ordeal, and I am relieved that he is on his mends. No one is indispensable, but Mr. Spencer’s works is so vital, his loss would be uncontemplatable.

______________________________
Robert, your personal health issues are of course a private matter but seeing as you shared this much, I do have a burning question:
If you were in the hospital for a severe case of pneumonia, how is it that you experienced such extensive organ failure?
Pneumonia is very serious and many succumb to the illness. Bacterial or viral, it ravages the lungs.
I don’t have any serious medical training but I was a certified EMT back in the day. I have never heard of pneumonia triggering heart or renal failure. Sepsis, yes. Always a risk, especially in a hospital setting. Sepsis is nasty and will shut down the organs in no time flat… But sepsis is usually contracted through an open wound or infection, not pneumonia.
How is it that you went into cardiac arrest? Renal failure generally suggests a life-long need for dialysis. Good God I hope that isn’t the case for you.
So yeah…the Iceland incident comes to mind.
To be blunt, I’m just concerned “someone” may have messed with you while you were vulnerable battling pneumonia at the hospital, slipping in and out between the planes.
JUST ELATED YOU ARE ON THE MEND!!!!!

A tremendous relief to hear directly from you, Mr. Spencer! So glad you are recovering from almost death, really. For many years I have depended on this site & your books to educate me about Islam, about which I knew next to nothing before 9/11. Once I had the honor to hear you speak at a church in Southern California. You seemed weary then & I can only imagine the exhaustion from fighting the good fight for the past several years. May God bless & strengthen you. All the writers during your absence are excellent. Especially Mr. Hugh Fitzgerald. He too has contributed so very much, & in such an eloquent fashion, to understanding Islam & it’s effect on world history.
Thanks to you both & the regular commenters, I know how to best fight this battle between good & evil.

Prayers are answered Robert. Take care of yourself and your family first. Course you also have a family here at Jihad Watch who are thankful for what you have done and what you continue to do for those who cherish freedom and equality.
There are no words to clearly describe the value and unselfish mission you provide for freedom and understanding of the threat we face in the world today. Your efforts have achieved continued awareness for the public through Jihad Watch.
Thank you for what you have done and welcome back.

I join the chorus of voices expressing relief in hearing that Robert made it through this frightening “near death” medical episode. If I had the money, I’d give Robert a nice quiet hideaway in Jerusalem where he could recuperate in peace in the Holy Land -protected by IDF soldiers 24/7! More seriously, I agree with the poster who said “please take care of your health and delegate some of your responsibilities to others.” It is good to know that you have a team in place to “co-pilot the plane” when you need to take a break. Welcome back!

Thank you for sharing your very serious health crisis with us. For us who wondered what you were up to when there were no articles by you on Jihad watch, I don’t think that many even entertained that you were experiencing such a fight for your life.
Jihad Watch ran so smoothly that it is saisfying to imagine that writers and contributors carried the ball for you so competently. Now you know that while you fully recover, there is no problem in being able to delegate a portion of the vital work that provides so much ongoing proof that confirms our concern for our future freedom.
The best thing of all in the recovery of Robert Spencer is that it means he still holds his honoured place on the lists of the SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER!! …… much to their dismay…..

Glad to hear you are back with the living Robert Spencer. I have followed Jiihad watch for a over three years now and learn so much and feel that you and your staff give such up-to-date news regarding Islamist activities around the globe.
Hope you drink your herbal tea and take time to relax many times each day for the rest of your life – it helps.
My best wishes for your recovery and God’s blessings on you and your family.

To Robert Spencer- you are one of my heroes and I am so sickened that you went through this ordeal, but so glad, grateful and relieved you are ok. You have taken a licking but you keep on ticking! I have prayed for you many days, not knowing what you had gone through. I am thrilled that God heard my prayers and took you out of the “coma zone”. God bless you. I will continue to pray for you and everyone connected with JihadWatch.org. With love from Linde Barrera.

Old jean,
You wrote ” Let’s stop that pretense. You know very well that I did not state anything so absurd,” in response to what I had written to your comment re: “Americans, of course, are quite biased against kings because of their revolutionary history ”
Saying that “Americans are quite biased”…is not showing that you actually *know* anything about “Americans.” And that is the case even if you are one.
And writing “You know very well” and “stop the pretense” are very arrogant statements to make to someone you have never met and have no ideas about other than what you …mistakenly…*read* into my comment.
You know nothing about what I personally read, nor to what I have been “conditioned.”
However, continuing this conversation with such a person as you have expressed yourself in your comments to the other person and your question “Are you OK with that?”, as well as what you have written to my *friendly* comment, I’m fairly sure is a great waste of my time.
You may comment to this, but I won’t continue my side.

The thought of losing you Spencer is terrifying to me. I’m glad to hear you’re doing better. The world needs you now more than ever. I doubt anyone else has done as much to educate others about the dangers of islamic jihad and its history. You are invaluable to the cause of freedom and human rights against the brutalities and ignorance of islam. Take care of yourself, and do your best to enjoy yourself a little too. It can’t always be about work.
Keep being you! Robert Spencer. I believe you save lives by exposing the truth about a very serious subject, the ignorance and evils of islam. That makes you a hero to me.
GOD BLESS ROBERT SPENCER AND THE GOOD WORK HE DOES!

Somehistory,
Thank you for thinking of me. Last year, Feb 2018, I suffered from frozen shoulder, and I lost complete use of my right arm (I’m right-handed), and it was a very painful and scary experience. Subsequently, I couldn’t type; and for months I had to do everything with one hand. I went thru months of physical therapy, and eventually I regained the use of my right arm, but it’s still not 100%.
Anyway, I’m much better now, and I can’t type like I used to, but I did want to express my gratitude to God that Robert is better and to welcome him back!!
Take care, and I hope that you are doing well 🙂

Thank you for letting me know. I’m sorry you have had the problems and hope you can continue to improve. Each of us must undergo what King Solomon called “time and unforeseen occurrence” that “befall us all.”
I had another eye surgery in late April and have spent the last weeks since then unable to see much, but my eye is mending. Thanks for asking. I could put forth an organ recital, but suffice it to say that King Solomon was right in my case too.
Take good care of yourself and comment when you feel that you can. 🙂

Robert, more than grateful that you are still well, among us, to continue helping our globe. May God Bless you, further, yet. “Many years”
I humbly suggest you consider becoming vegetarian, to make life easiest on your organs, and your health, through optimizing your gut microbiome, as years of latest medical research demonstrates, proves, beyond anyone’s doubt. Suggest looking into the Dean Ornish M.D. medically proven diet, for overall health, and as shown, easiest on kidneys, with non-meat nutrition. I know of what I speak, medically. I have been vegetarian for nearly 6 years, with stellar results.. I have the research saved for all of this. There are you tube lectures on the Ornish diet, it is top rated, and the best I have seen, of all types, better than Mediterranean. Consult Ornish, at his office, or Mark Hyman MD of Cle. Clinic, or Joel Fuhrman MD. Ornish would be the best, Hyman next. I’m talking top of the world latest medical advice, for absolute certain. Contact if more desired, privately.

I had no idea you were ill. I thought you had taken a break and were working on the next book. I’m glad to hear the good news first. Thankfully you pulled through and are here writing. Please get plenty of rest and focus on you. I have several hundred JW articles I couldn’t catch up on because you all write so much-I don’t know how you do it.
Christine has done a fine job with links referring to old posts so then I start reading all those too. All the other contributors too.
There are a lot of websites critical (or watchful) of Islam plus I see new former Muslims with videos. I try to give them some attention. So take it easy for a while. Check out the Gates of Vienna, they’ve often had good articles. Raymond Ibrahim is a thorn in Muslim groups’ sides lately.
I’m sure CAIR is happy you’re OK too. Eh, they’ll chalk it up to Allah giving the unbelievers a respite (per the Qur’an). There’s an answer for everything…

For goodness sake survive Robert. For your own sake and because the West has dire need of a courageous champion for truth and realism like you.
Oh, and by the way; all that medical technology was the product of empirical science, invented in the West and nowhere else, thanks to Christian doctrines about a personal, loving, lawful God who could be understood in his good creation, Nature.
So different from the remote, capricious tyrant, Mohammad, whose adherents also had access to Greek learning.

Robert stated, “With the darkness and totalitarianism against which we are struggling comes immense human misery. Let us then, with malice toward none and charity for all, continue to strive as long as we have the ability to do so. We owe it ….”
Amen, Well said, Sir. Well said.
Robert, I know you know, you engage this battle fully aware of what “the text” prescribes and demands for all those who oppose it.
That said, God kept you, Robert, for that, we are thankful.
We all have our time “appointed,” clearly, this was not yet yours, Sir.
As they say is so true, God holds that brittle tread of life…
“Two weeks” unconscious… wow… all but incredible.
I had a child who drowned when he was three; there too, he was “out,” in a coma, not for weeks but indeed for hours; God brought him back; but, he too, had zero recollection of anything past his last “under water scream,” as it were, for me—then, his only parent…
In brief, with respect to the fight we who oppose Islam fight, clearly, a profoundly powerful spirit is behind that which we oppose.
As such, we all who so engage will, when we place our trust in God, thereby, be kept as He chooses to keep us, so too suffer as He allows us to suffer…
For such reasons, many of us who choose, in face of the facts of Islamic doctrine, nonetheless, choose to fight it, oppose it, thus, expose it; it may thus, for that specific reason be ours for us to walk through the valley of death…
But irrespective of where that “walk” takes us to, we shall make that walk, fearing no evil.
Because God walks there with us. Goodness and mercy following on behind, as stated, wherever that walk leads and ends…
You all remain in my daily prayers; do so with my love and my respect.
