Islam is playing an increasingly important role in schools. A recent case at a high school in Döbling shows how far consideration for Muslim students can go: A teacher refused to read from the Bible because it was “not fair to Mohammed.”
As the Krone reports, the Ministry of Education referred this case to the responsibility of the Education Directorate, which in turn stated that there were “no recommendations on how to deal with religious texts in German lessons.” This incident shows that teachers are often left alone when it comes to dealing with religious topics in everyday school life. It seems as if it is increasingly about avoiding conflicts with students or parents.
Teachers’ union member Thomas Krebs is now calling for harsh punishments for radical students and their parents. He stresses that no improvement is possible without the support of parents. Krebs suggests that violent and radicalized students should be required to attend police meetings with their parents. If this obligation is not met, he demands fines of up to 5,000 euros.

As with English and the English Bible (especially the King James and Douay versions), the German language must contains many words, phrases, idioms and stories and allusions from the German Bible.
One can read parts of the Bible or other scriptures as literature without being asked to believe in it. I can read Marvel Comics, or watch Marvel movies, or listen to operas by Wagner, without worshipping Thor or Odin. The same goes for books or movies about Heracles, Zeus or Perseus.
A lot of Muslims are too small-minded. They should try to be more open-minded and tolerant.

Excellent point Mike but permitting the migration of low IQ inbreds who have no concept of expanding one’s experience other than destroying those who are not one of them is like wondering why the scorpion killed the poor turtle. Like the scorpion, these inbreds only act as they are taught by parents and all of the inbreds within their lineage. The US has its example in both Minneapolis and Dearborn where this disease has taken hold at the expense of hard working and soft hearted individuals.

Being an unemployed former teacher fired for being a religious extremest is probably not fair either. If she was not born in Austria she should also be deported and barred from re entry to anywhere within the EU.

Austria and Germany seem to heading in the wrong direction, at what stage will re-direction ( correction ) take place, and how ? Maybe if the Koran were to be read in class, stage by stage, the problem would go away, in clouds of Islamic sand storms?

How strange, since Muhammad said that if a person wants to find out if he’s a real prophet that person should “read the Bible.”
It’s true that in the light of the Bible that Muhammad might had been an actual prophet but the important thing to understand is that Muhammad was NOT a prophet send by God. Instead, Muhammad was a deceptive, lying false prophet send by Satan to lead many people astray and even and straight into hell. In Psalm 89:8,9. it reads “O Lord of host, Who is mighty like you , O Lord ? … You rule the raging of the sea ; when it’s waves rise you still them.” In Matthew 8:23-27 a terrible sea storm occurred and then rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great clam. So the men marveled, saying ‘Who can this be , that even the winds and the sea obey him. ” By comparing what happened with those verses from that just quoted Psalm, the answer to the question asked by the disciples of Jesus is that He is God.
Furthermore the Bible in First Kings 8:39 teaches that “Only God Knows that thoughts of men” in the Gospel of Mark 2: 8 reveals that Jesus knows the thoughts of men.”
In conclusion the Bible does reveal to that Jesus is God and that exposes Islam’s false teaching about Jesus and therefore Islam is a false religion of demonic darkness.

Many false religions, including Islam, deny that Jesus is God. In spite of that denial the Bible clearly reveals that Jesus is God. As found in John 1 ;1-5. 20:28. Romans 9:5.
Furthermore, by comparing John 5:22 with Romans 14:12. a person can see the Jesus is God. Second Peter 1:.1. First John 5:20.Likewise by comparing the Old and New Testament books together that Jesus is God may be discovered , As by comparing Psalm 89:8,9 with Matthew 8:23-27. The Bible instructs that the way for a person to discover if a doctrine or teaching is true or false to compare it to what is already written in the scripture. So if that teaching or doctrine is in contradiction what is in the Word of God, the Bible then that doctrine or teaching is false.

You have a stronger case saying that it was unfair that Muhammad was born 700 years after the New Testament! We cannot do without the Bible but we can surely do without Muhammad and his child bride?
Wasn’t it the same Muhammad who called for the Bible to be brought to him after which he swore on it confirming its veracity?
So what is the problem if you can use your head? The problem is that they cannot! There is no consistency in the Qur’an and other Islamic scripture. There is no way that you can produce Qur’an versions with cross references like it has been done with the Bible, with 200,000 cross references!
