Fadi Kablawi is an imam in Florida who back on March 8, 2024 preached a Friday sermon (khutba), at a Miami mosque — Masjid As Sunnah An Nabawiyyah in North Miami — that was streamed live on the mosque’s Facebook page, and is worthy of note even now, four months later, in light of the certainty that the preacher and his audience still believe the same things. Kablawi asked Allah to make this Ramadan a “blessed month of victory.” And he quoted one Qur’anic verse, according to which Muslims will seize, enjoy, and live in the settlements of the Jews, and another, quite similar in meaning, in which Allah will cause Muslims to inherit the land, homes, and property of the Jews. He denounced the “Nazi Zionists” and their Zionist supporters in Washington, who he claimed were “worse than Hitler.” He then asked Allah to aid the people of Gaza who were waging jihad, and to “bring annihilation upon the accursed Zionists.” More on Kablawi’s triumphant and bloodcurdling rant can be found here.

Fadi Kablawi spread his poison in his Miami mosque and on Facebook. In this sermon he repeatedly calls for the death — “annihilation” — of the “cursed Zionists.” He doesn’t just mean Israelis. He means Jews, like the “Zionists in Washington.” He asks Allah to “bring an evil tragedy” upon them. Does this not rise to the level of hate speech, of the kind that can be punished under American law? Under current First Amendment jurisprudence, hate speech can only be criminalized when it directly incites imminent criminal activity or consists of specific threats of violence targeted against a person or group. Would Kablawi’s fiery speech be likely to lead some in his audience at the mosque, or among those who follow him on Facebook where his sermon has been posted, to wage their own jihad against Jews, thereby supporting the work of Allah? Doesn’t his speech threaten violence — the violence of Allah himself — against “Zionists” and their supporters? If Kablawi had been ranting in similar terms against blacks, instead of against Jews (“Zionists”), how long do you think it would be before he was arrested? Yet at this point, four months later, what has been done?

Btw, I notice that the Arabs who are Israel citizens call themselves as Israel Arabs, not Israel Palestinians. That means, there is no Palestinian as a race or tribe or ethnics unlike the Israel Druze (or Kurd, Persian etc among the Arabs). It proves that the Arabs in the “Palestine” land is just Arabs, not really Palestinians who are descendants of the Philistines.

Speaking like this, and nothing done about it, will make them bolder to say even worse. I guess American authorities don’t know a thing about the saying, “Nip it in the bud”! Seems like our supposed authorities believe that words are just words, and that words don’t lead up to action.
It’s so maddening to me, that nothing is done about them teaching “their people”, how much hatred and anger they have, on anybody and everyone, that is not one of them, and they they will just hope, that until one or more of these “people” they teach, decide to do something, to make that teacher proud. Everyone of those Islamic teachers won’t act on anything they say/teach. They wouldn’t want to lose their position. Their standing is dependent on how well they teach, to get their “flock” to go out and “act”, on the words they use, for that is what shows on how good they teach, and since OUR supposed authorities, don’t look back on a killer’s mosque they attended, then these teachers get to keep their position and keep on with their words of anger and hatred that they teach.
That seems to be the way I see it, anyway, and maybe I’m wrong. But every cult, where a member or members go out and kill, has a leader (or someone they follow or respect) that leads them, in actions or words, so that the killer is brave enough to go out and do it themselves.
