A Crusader issues a challenge

When George W. Bush called the war on terror a "Crusade," he upset nearly everyone — Muslims because they have long historical memories, and Western non-Muslims because their history embarrasses them.

No one particularly noticed that there are in fact no more Crusaders. But it turns out that there are — Knights Templar, in fact. And one of them is ready to settle all this right now with Osama bin Laden.

Chevalier James R. Reese, Grand Prior of the United States, here challenges the terror king to single combat. If Osama loses, he says, Al-Qaeda must be disbanded forever. If he wins, he can display the head of the Chief (and possibly only) Crusader left in the world.

No word yet on a response from Osama.

Now *THIS* sounds as if it's a solution the Muslim World would go for...
Considering it is that "peaceful" religion, you know?
