I just stepped off the last stagecoach into Secure Undisclosed Locationville, back home from my trip to CSpan's Washington Journal. I am deeply grateful for all your kind words and expressions of support — and substantially encouraged that these words of warning are not falling entirely on deaf ears.

Mr. Spencer: yesterday I heard a rebroadcast of a Hugh Hewitt radio show you were featured on. Your "opponent" (his name escapes me...Salam ?) represented the "Moderate Muslim" point of view (IMPAC ???). Anyway, just a note to say you won the debate-discussion hands down. You could HEAR the frustration in your opponent's voice when he was unable to logically refute the points you were making. Keep up the good work.

Reality, represented by YOU in our current "Troubles" with Islam, will ultimately win, because reality is the final arbitor; it ALWAYS wins in the end. Wishes, hopes, and desires don't win UNLESS they are consistent with reality.
Keep it up--you are succeeding, and educating more and more of us about the nature of this problem.
There is one item which Islamic "conspiracy theorists" have correctly identified way ahead of us, and that is their accusation that the West is fighting a war against Islam.
They are right, only we just don't know it yet. We refuse to see it as a war against (gasp) a RELIGION, because we refuse (so far) to see Islam for what it really is (there's that old reference to reality again!). Islam is nothing if it is not an army disguised as a religion.
My next bumper sticker just has to be: It's Islam, Stupid!

I was glued to c-span yesterday. Finally, someone with courage and knowledge to speak the truth. A truth that we know as Christians of the middle-east, but never been able to discuss nor express. Now, that someone is talking about it, is such a relief. Not to seek vengence nor to stirr hatred, but to answer all those questions that trouble a lot of us who do not want to judge nor hate, we just want to know facts that are there for us. If we are real Christians as we claim, we are to know the truth and to extend love and mercy. Hope your articles will be in the direction of spreading knowledge and not taking sides nor exposing the evil in others while forgetting that we all have the same human nature.
