Another jihadi bites the dust. No one will miss you John.

But still the Islamophobic media refuses to link his religion to his murderous deeds. Rather blame the Army or his divorce!

A glorious day for our usually-too-lenient justice system.
A strong message from our justice system to all criminals:you will no longer go unpunished.
TAKE NO PRISONERS!

I don't think we can breathe easy until we lower what's left of him into the earth.

He and Malvo murdered two people down the street from me. A few days before one of the murders in Silver Spring, MD, my wife and I were in the exact spot where they killed someone.

I would pray to God that someone would have fought for justice if they had killed me and my wife. It is a sad statement on the State of Maryland that we had to have them tried in Virginia, and within weeks of their murder spree, a new governor was elected in Maryland to clean house.

There has been much published about Malvo and Muhammed's ties to radical Islamist groups. Regardless of how much of their inspiration was Islamist Extremism or Insanity, there was only one word for the two of them: terrorists.

It definitely has given me pause. There, but for the grace of God, I might have easily been one of the victims.

America needs a government and a society where justice and security remains a priority. No one wants to view their family, their neighbors, or their country - as "victims".

In November's elections, that will be uppermost in my mind. Who will work to keep our country from being helpless "victims" of such terror? Many so-called "liberals" think that is unimportant.

In Maryland, as my neighbors were being murdered, Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Kathleen Kennedy Townsend talked about our sewer system, and also of the need to make certain we continued a moratorium on the death penalty. I got an email from her campaign specifically telling me that. The reaction of my wife and I (by the way, we have been life-long Democrats): "what an idiot!" Needless to say I voted for Republican Bob Ehrlich.

I can tell you, when the bodies were piling up down the street from my home that was the only really important question. It really helps you take stock of your priorities. Yes, I am concerned about jobs, economy, social security, and a lot of things.

But when they are carting away your neighbors in body bags, like they did in my neighborhood, your priorities gain greater focus.

Its not the small stuff or the long term stuff that matters most. We absolutely keep taking for granted our basic human survival, no matter how many warnings we get.

I just wish more people could understand that without having to be "under the gun" of terror. None of us are ever truly "safe", but there are degrees of public safety that have to be our nation's and our government's top priority.

Our country has no modern day history with preoccupation with survival. So people forget. They think terrorism is a thing of the past. They fool themselves to feel better.

I hope they don't have to learn the hard way, when the terrorists are down the street from your front door.

Today was a good day for justice. An important day for all of us to remember.

And a good day for my neighborhood.

As a former Virginian, may I say "Sic semper tyranis".

Good news and bad news for Muhammad.

The good news is that when he finally dies he will get 72 virgins.

The bad news is that they will all look like Arafat.

Jeffrey,i try to imagine how horrible of an experience that must have been for you and your family .
Yes,the economy is important, creating more jobs is also important, improving the school system is important too,as well as medicaire,etc....but none of these issues are as important as the national security.
For if we fail protecting our country and nation against the danger that is now looming on the horizont, the economy, education, healthcare, etc will all be irrelevant.
