At this moment, the only thing that comes to mind ; is how sad, and pitiful this looks and sounds.

I recently had something of a debate on an online forum with your average American Joe Public regarding the Islamic belief in "Houris" and the material rewards of paradise.

He refused to admit that it's a real Muslim doctrine, even with suras from the Quran and real authenticated Hadiths staring him in the face. I was pretty much blown away by the stark ignorance. He literally said to me: "If you can't show me a verse where it says 'Suicide bombers get virgins in heaven', verbatim, I won't believe it."

And then a Muslim came into the discussion and started talking about how Islam's paradise was "communion with God", purely spiritual, etc. I don't know if he was from a heretical group, or just lying through his teeth, but I found it amusing that I know more about the true face of Islam, as a global phenomenon, than him.

Muhammad was onto something powerful when he realized he could lead people around by their desires, and so he created a system of beliefs and rewards entirely tailored around this principle. He could get the thirsty, hungry, and sex-craving barbarians of 7th century Arabia to fight for him suicidally with promises of wine, grapes, palaces, and most of all, nubile partners, once they died for him.

In the story of the boy who wanted to blow himself up for the Palestinian "doctorine" of Jihad, we see a boy who explains that 72 virgins will be rewarded to him upon his death. He claimed he only did it to get the attention of the boys who taunted him earlier. What?

The irony of Islam taken out of context like any religion is that great question of what possible value are 72 virgins to a little boy? Abdu should have been thinking about something other than sex with 72 women, (like playing soccer, or climbing trees, or studying) as a form of expressing his personel value with the boys that taunted and rejected him and affected his self esteem. Besides doesn't the whole idea of 72 women just lining up for sex at a little boy's whim totally degrade women? Is that Islam? I think not!

It's obvious that this boy would rather get approval from his friends than blow himself up needlessly for some coward adult who can't don a uniform and fight like a man for his faith and for the formation of the state of Palestine that he so chooses to believe in. Sending a boy to blow himself up in place of a man's job as a soldier is not Islamic at all!

I ask myself what bastard would be subhuman enough to provide instructions and promises which play on Abdu's lack of self worth, to blow himself up for a cause? Ironically he is asked to perform suicide at a moment of poor self esteem when the other boys taunted him before he began "his great deed for Islam". Why would someone kill an innocent boy as sacrifice? No religion tolerates this sick mentality and justifies it!

The only way to stop the insane mentality of the "new islamic radicalism" is to either, reeducate it, kill all who practice it, or imprison permanenetly all who can not be converted to moderate Islam (assuming that all the right political issues are exhausted which they just about are!) What else can be done to a largely ignorant, desperate, radically educated, poor population who practice perverted idealogical religious hatred?

Israel understands what they are dealing with, and are starting at the top and working their way down. (By the way, I am not justifying Israel's tactics entirely either).

As for Arab states, what are the Islamic brothers doing to help the Palestinians establish a state? What do they do besides arm them and send them to their deaths? Why can't they create a Palestinian state for them from their own lands? Why do the Arabs fear democracy? The answer is THE RADICALS don't want to loose control! That's not very Islamic now is it? American life welcomes those that are oppressed, but it will require tolerance to live here! Wow, that's different, Islamic tolerance? Could the Arab states welcome Palestians through tolerance and ties to faith that bond Arabs in peaceful coexistance?

The radical Islamic Arab population that preaches this terrorism filth, greatly endangers their own people by the actions of extremsits and degradates the great religion of Islam!

Radicalism is not a truly Islamic religious basis at all. Sending a boy to war by bigots afraid of opening up their minds, much like the Nazi's of WW II is a common sense issue of right and wrong if we all are to be judged by the same God.

Look, no matter what religion a person is, evil is evil and needs to be destroyed. Those Islamic radicals who partake in evil acts and preach it will have plenty of virgins to take care of them in the jihad heaven after life, wherever the hell that is. I suppose it is just like communist heaven or Nazi heaven, easily believable if that's all your ever exposed to in life.

The problem is that philosophy is not a religion and believing in evil is a deadly philosophy (not a religion) grounded in hatred that ends in death to those that preach and adhere to it. Hitler and Stalin couldn't have been prouder today to hear about new "radical jihad fundamentalism" as both WW II leaders capitalized on chaos and political uncertainty (remember Europe in WW II? Sapin today?)leading their nations to destruction at the end of WWII. I'm sure they will be waiting in hell for those that practise radical Islam to "come home." Evil delights in chaos!

Fortunately, Abdu looking down the barrel of a gun heard the real God talk to him and now understands the difference between "good and evil", which is simply "a choice". Sorry Joseph and Adolf, you won't have this little boy to entertain you, wherever the hell you are! (Thank God!)God praise the sensible, no matter what religion they are!

You know, for being such purists, these radicals sure had no problems using sex as a lure for this poor kid. I had hope that Israel would've taken this kid into custody, and tried to protect him from these bigots.

I felt sorry for this boy. This is really a sad case of child manipulation. These people don't care about anything execpt destruction.

Israel has put these oppressed people in a hopless position where their rational thinking has been blurred to a point where their only goal is to retaliate. This kid has been under occupation now, all of his life--so the only reality he knows is living under brutality and state-terror of the Israel Military.

Israel can defend itself within its borders. The Militatry Occupation is in gross violation of international law. That's not justified and that's been going on for 35 years.

Israel hasn't put any oppressed people anywhere. The standard of living has declined in the last 10 years since the PLO took over. It was higher with Israeli control. Palestinian people are supporting a corrupt government that feeds only themselves while keeping the people in a state of decay for the rest of the world to feel sorry for.
The Israeli Arabs have the current best standard of living.
The Palestinians are advocating genocide for Israel. They have created their own problems.

Do all of us a favor and read a damn history book on Israel. Then read about Islam. I guess the rest of the world has done something terrible to the Muslim savages too, so they deserve this.

JStark: I think you definitly need to read a little history about that region before you make such pronouncments. First of all, the word Palestine was a word given to the region by the Romans after they conquered the area. When Israel became a state in 1947 there where very few so-called Palestinians (Arabs) in the area , they multiplied 20 fold after they found good jobs where available to them in Israel. As Israel prospered while the Arabs conducted losing wars against them in 1949, and in 1967. During this time Palestinians also prospered from jobs in Israel. But then enter the demogogues such as Yassar Arafat, and the father of Hamas Yassin who brought their Wahhabist fundalmentalism with them and they have brought great hardship on the people of Palestineever since , not the Jewish people. This is why Israel felt the need to build a wall from these people who once looked to Israel for the source of prosperity. But they have scuttled any goodwill that had once come their way. The Palestinians are sadly a used people by these groups who really don`t value anybodies life. In their ignorance; some people will drink the sand if you tell them it is water.

Oh no it isn't ... just give them more time, or do a bit more research!

Just caught a zinger while listening to the radio in the car: "If we had promised Clinton 72 virgins maybe HE would ahve done something about the war on terror"

On one hand the Muslims condemn the West for having such a sinful society, what with letting our women run around exposed.
On the other hand, they think God runs some kind of heavenly whorehouse where they get to have sex for all eternity.
Go figure.
I'm betting that if they do get to Muslim heaven they'll discover the "72 dark eyed virgins" they've been promised are male goats. It'd serve 'em right.
At least we don't co-opt retarded kids to become "martyrs".

At times like these, Golda Meir's words ring in my ears... "The Palestinians will have peace when they learn to love their children more than they hate the Jews." She was spot on target with that comment.

I have a question: If Mohammed said that the majority of hell's inhabitants are women, then from where do these 72 virgins come for all of the "martyrs" who die in Allah's service? That doesn't make sense to me.

And jstarks, from your comments, I have to believe you don't know very much about the history and the relations between the "Palestinians" and the Israelis. So, to give you some background, in order that you can get a picture of how the Palestinians do when Israel is not getting bombed by crazy people here are two anectdotes:

1. In the 67 war, when Israel took over Jerusalem, they found most of the Palestinians living in absolute squalor. Cholera was running rampant in the old city, the streets were filthy with human excrement, children were running half naked in the streets, there were no schools and people were starving. Within no time, the Jewish government started feeding the people, clothing the children, establishing schools and cleaning up the streets. Knowing that they had a good thing going on here, these Palestinians started showing up at the national offices to beg for Israeli citizenship. They were showing up in the hundreds and by the end of the week, thousands of Palestinians became Israeli citizens. This went on until the PA and other Arab governments heard about it and started threatening those who were applying for citizenship. They started telling them, "If you become an Israeli, say bye bye to your family in Damascus, Amman, etc. We will kill them." Needless to say, there was an immediate end to applications for citizenship. (btw, I was told this by a person who lived through it and saw this happen.)

2. Recently, when the Israelis were building the fence (mark this, fence - not wall. There is only 4% wall and 96% fence) to divide Israel proper from the "occupied lands," a mayor from one of the Arab cities came to the Israeli government and pleaded with them to keep his city on the Israeli side of the fence. He did not want them to be placed on the Palestinian side of the "wall." He wanted his city inside of Israeli limits. Sounds like this "oppressed" mayor knows a good thing when he sees it. Please check your details before saying things about situations you don't know.

Control of the base passions and lower appetites is the most effective form of political control. Clearly, the globab jihadists know this. The sad example of a 14 year old boy willing to give up his life in exchange for a fabricated liaison with 72 virgins should be evidence enough. The West is in a battle for its survival against an old heresy, revamped and revitalized by ignorance, poverty and politics. May the Holy Spirit direct many misguided souls to the truth through this website.

You are wrong in your citing of "International Law. First of all, there is no such thing in the same sense as National Law exists. Rather, there are treaties and some settled customs and practices.

One such settled custom/practice is that territory acquired in the course of a defensive war may be annexed by the defending party. Under this settled principle, or International Law, if you prefer, Israel has the right to annex all of the so-called "disputed territories" and further has the right to expel all Arabs therein. For an example of this principle of International Law in action, see Sudetenland post WWII.

UNSC #242 (a Chapter VI, not VII resolution) aims to suggest that Israel refrain from exercising its full rights by annexing only sufficient territory to define "defensible borders" and not expelling Arabs from the remainder. As a Chapter VI resolution, it has no binding effect but is merely a suggestion from UNSC as to how to proceed in the matter.

Can`t wait to hear Joseph`s comments on this one.
I`m sure he will have some kind of justification for such a ridiculous muslim myth.
