Bashir lauds Osama as 'hero'

More antics from the irrepressible Abu Bakar Bashir, one of Indonesia's leading jihadists. From the Herald Sun, with thanks to Jean-Luc:

DUBAI: Jailed Indonesian militant Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir has rejected accusations of terrorism, while expressing admiration for al-Qa'ida leader Osama bin Laden, according to the Saudi weekly Al-Majallah.

"The American accusations are pure allegations," Bashir, 65, said from prison in an interview for today's edition of the magazine, which is published in London.
Bashir denied engaging in "terrorist activities" or being the head of the al-Qa'ida-linked Jemaah Islamiah terror group.

Police say they have enough to charge him for a string of terror attacks, including the October 12, 2002, bombings in Bali that killed 202 people, including 88 Australians. ...

"The United States wants to keep me in prison because they consider I am dangerous for their interests because I call for the implementation of Islamic Sharia law in Indonesia," Bashir told the Al-Majallah.

He also described bin Laden as "a hero of Islam" and US President George W. Bush and the American army as "henchmen of the devil".

Bashir would have been out of jail already, if he could keep his mouth shut about his love of bin Laden. Fortunately, he is so crazy he just can't keep quiet. With guys like Bashir as their leaders/clerics, you know Indonesian Muslims are in trouble.

Bashir is dangerous for mankind because he calls for the implementation of Sharia law in Indonesia as is anyone that does so as Sharia is the law of the devil.

I love the photo of this grinning monkey using a cell phone - a technology his culture could never have invented.

Allegations, my dear Baasyir?? In the 6th century some pesky Saudi Arabian (whose name is too famous to mention) ALLEGED that an 'angel' came to earth to dictate to him an ALLEGEDLY 'pure' version of God's word (the bible, now the Koran). That's it. Someone ALLEGED that someone alleged there was a new 'religion--' and Golly Gee, how do you like that!!!There it was! A human sacrifice cult dressed up to resemble a Judeo-Christian faith (which at the same time inexplicably worships the Arabian moon-god! like, wow!!) If the Saudis could get away with allegations such as these in the 6th century, Baasyir, don't you suppose that it would be unmuslim-like of you not to let Americans get away with the same thing--would you not agree? (Oh, I forgot you only speak Arabic).
And as for Americans being in league with Satan, don't you remember that same 6th century Saudi idiot I mentioned earlier once spoke the 'Satanic verses'? No? But, if true, just what would this make of Mahomet and HIS armies of muslim fighters? Think about it. Are you still there??? Come back!!!
