Mosque leader accused of drug trafficking to remain in custody

He (along with two others from his mosque) is also accused of ties to Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and could face a twenty-year reassignment as a prison recruiter. From ABC7Chicago.com:

A leader of a mosque on Chicago's South Side has been ordered held on charges that he trafficked a chemical used to make the illegal narcotic methamphetamine.

U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve ordered that Tariq Isa, 55, remain in custody Tuesday without bail. She said Isa had an incentive to flee because a conviction would carry a lengthy prison term.

Isa was arrested Thursday as he arrived at O'Hare International Airport from the Middle East, authorities said. A two-count indictment charging Isa with distributing nearly 1.73 million tablets of pseudoephedrine was returned in May but was sealed until his arrest.

According to the indictment, Isa knew or had reasonable cause to believe the chemical would be used to make methamphetamine.

Isa is the third leader of the Mosque of the Martyr Izzedine Al-Qassam to face criminal charges since last year.

Ghassan Zayed Ballut and Hatem Fariz were indicted last year in Florida for allegedly financing terrorists in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. They were also charged with being members of the militant group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

There is a law in the UK , that if anyone in a nightclub or at a rave is caught dealing drugs(especially if the management of the buisness are the ones doing the peddling) the place is shut down and the owner has his licence revoked, sort of simular the assets forfeiture law in the states.

The same should apply to owners/imams of mosks in our countries.
The Chicago mosk in question should be closed down and demolished. Let the regulars pray in its rubble.

Some refugge's in Canada have been dealing in drugs for several years now,the scam uncovered by Police was that the free-healthcare and drug plan for refugee's was abused. African Muslims were were getting drugs from pharmacies under the drug-plan and mailing them back home, the drugs were mixed with others to make street drugs to sell for a huge profit. Somali's,Nigerians,Sudanese, and a few other weren't here as real refugge's but to scam the system, with a 75 percent failure rate the bogus refugee's can stay up to 10 years after the endless appeals on humanitarian grounds.
While Canadians pay higher taxes for a dying heathcare system, the 700 Million dollar refugee
system with the 75 failure rate means about 500 Million a year spent on paid vacations for any one of the 6.5 Billion people living outside of Canada.
Of course now we have the new Hijab issue where non-Canadians now control our airport security system by demanding the Hijab be left on during entry to Canada and all this with the support of CAIR that screamed racism over this complaint.
Just try going to Saudi Arabia with a Bible in your hand and see if you get to keep it.

... and could face a twenty-year assignment as a prison recruiter...

LOL! That's hilarious, but like so much of Islam, it's also sad because it's true.

As long as Islam remains disguised as a "religion" instead of a hateful ideaology, we won't be able to prevent its spread (like "Scientology" which of course is really a field of psychology.) Unless of course we outlaw all "religions"; now wouldn't that be a shame?
