GAZA, Sept 26 (Reuters) - The Palestinian militant group Hamas threatened on Sunday to target Israelis abroad after blaming Israel for the killing of a Hamas official in Syria."We have let hundreds of thousands of Zionists travel and move in capitals of the world in order not to be the party which transfers the struggle. But the Zionist enemy has done so and should bear the consequences of its actions," said the statement by Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
The statement issued in Gaza and obtained by Reuters mourned the death in a car bomb of Izz el-Deen al-Sheikh Khalil, believed to be in charge of Hamas's military wing outside the Palestinian territories.
Hamas blamed Israel for the assassination.
"The Zionist enemy has opened a new door for the struggle by transferring the battle outside Palestine, in spite of the fact that al-Qassam Brigades has always been keen to keep its rifles directed against the entity in the land they occupy," said the statement, which had been broadcast earlier by the Arabic television station al-Jazeera.
A Hamas representative in Lebanon denied that the group had taken a decision to attack Israeli targets abroad. He and a spokesman in Damascus said Hamas would launch attacks only inside Israel and the Palestinian territories.
Hamas, which has launched scores of suicide attacks against Israel and Palestinian territories, has always maintained that its policy was not to attack Israeli targets worldwide.
In Jerusalem, a senior Israeli government source said that Hamas' pamphlets and Web sites made clear it was engaged in a "total war against Jews" and the latest threat reported by al-Jazeera, whether genuine or not, would not be new.
Also, consider this from the Hamas Charter:
As a result of the fact that those Moslems who adhere to the ways of the Islamic Resistance Movement spread all over the world, rally support for it and its stands, strive towards enhancing its struggle, the Movement is a universal one.
That's from Article 7. Doesn't it mean that the sphere of Hamas' activities is not restricted, but is universal? Yet now they pretend that they are being provoked to act outside of Israel?

How magnanimous of them (Hamas) to have let Isarelis travel and move about in the world's capitals!
Shouldn't Israel be ever so grateful and in return let Hamas do its jihadist deeds inside their country--ignoring the fact that these acts of terror are directed from Hamas Syria?

For several years now the Jewish community
has tried to alert the Liberal Government that
the antisemitism and overt vandalism to homes and cemetaries has grow in proportion the the rise in
immigration be Muslim and no-jewish Arabs.
Various pro-palestinian groups feel free to burn an Israeli flag in a "Peaceful" protest
and threaten the media when a pro-Israel view is expressed. I don't believe that all the ones that come to Canada to live in peace are telling the truth,far too much hate is displayed on TV debates and pro-Arab newspapers for anyone to
agree with CAIR or any Arab rights group.
Canada is a haven for Jew-hater and now it's not only the "skinheads" that are a threat,the Middle east students riot and inflict terror on Jewish students in Universities.
I really wonder what Muslims will do if there are no longer Americans and Jews to blame their
shortcomings on.

I completely understand what you're saying. Dhimmi western countries like Canada and France would rather have their jewish minorities terrorized than visit justice upon blind, bigoted, law-breaking mooooslims.
I recall a long-ago post by Hugh where he laments the leaving of Europe by the peaceful, prosperous, entrepreneurial and creative Jews in return for the coming in of welfare-sucking mooooslims - diseased in both mindset and in values! Jeeze, its worse than trading in a brand-new Ferrari for an old broken Yugo!

HAMAS BIG KILLED IN SYRIA....
WOW! The news just keeps getting better. I think Israel is finally getting it right. Go after the cockroaches in the nest.The infectious brainless basterds that want to die for the sake of Islam are just like the cockroaches in the pantry. You'll never get rid of them one or two at a time. But, if you get to the nest where the brain dead little monsters are bred and do away with the breders maybe some real progress can be made toward shutting those vermin down. That scum bag AIR-HEAD-FAT should be put at the top of the list. I have to confess, after what has been happening to my countrymen in Iraq and the things the Jews have been going through for years, I have to take delight in the thought that the bad guys in Hamas that DON'T want to die are getting a bit nervous.

I would rather wonder what Americans and Jews will do when there are no longer any Moslems around to threaten their existence.
It is always better to be positive. Now, with the Islamic menace removed, Americans and Jews will be free to live in peace (until the next enemy of peaceful humanity comes along).
