Evidently dhimmi Spain still can't jump high enough for its jihadist masters. From Expatica, with thanks to Ali Dashti:
MADRID - Spanish police have arrested 13 more suspected Islamic extremists in connection with an alleged plot to bomb the country's national court.Eight of the new arrests were made late Thursday in Madrid, Cadiz and Valencia while five suspects were already in custody.
They bring to 30 the number of arrests in connection with the alleged plot.
National Court Judge Baltasar Garzon imprisoned 17 suspects - ten of them already in prison for other crimes - last week on suspicion of being members of a group called Martyrs for Morocco.
"These [new] arrests are the result of all the documentation seized from the detainees last week and all the information gathered by the judge during their interrogations," a police source said.
The terrorists are said to have planned to detonate a lorry loaded with 500 kg of explosives near the Audiencia Nacional, Spain's national criminal court where all terrorist cases are heard.

I wonder. Have the people who voted for Zapatero realized the enormity of their mistake yet? Does Spain even hear the full story about these bombs they keep finding? What is this, the 2nd or 3rd since 2/11?

Do the fools in Zapatero's government realise that appeasement won't help them? In reality Muslims are encouraged by any sign of weakness and ready to explode more bombs to gain control over their dim Dhimmis in Spain.

Like Gary, I believe the Spanish people who voted for Zapatero are asking themselves a lot of questions right now. The foremost question must be why are they still trying to attack us after we gave them what they wanted? We gave them Zapatero. We left Iraq. What more can we give them? Their answer: Your country. It was never about Iraq, you dhimmi fools.

This is a warning to America. Voting in Kerry will not make us any safer--and may make us a lot more vulnerable than we already are.

Yes, it's not about Iraq. It's not about whatever "reason" they give. Before Iraq it was something else - Afghanistan perhaps. Before Afghanistan and 9/11 it was some other "reason". They're "reasons" only to silly dhimmis who view themselves as guilty oppressors who were nasty to the poor oppressed Muslim, and need to appease and atone for past "sins" and "guilt". Islamists will use whatever trendy "reason" sounds good, sounds convincing, particularly to self-loathing dhimmis who have some bizarre need to feel bad and guilty and responsible for every minority group with a "grievance".
It doesn't matter how "good" you are, how appeasing, how grovelling. If you're "the West", they hate you and want to either kill you or subjugate you. Simple really. Simple thinking of a backward barbarian who lives a 7th Century warlord philosophy.

Absolutely agree with the above posts. Al Qaeda chooses "reasons" for their reason d'etre after the fact. osama never actually mentioned the arab israeli conflict until the year 2000. Their aim is clear. There goals are clear. Why do we feel in the West that there must be some reason they are doing this. The reason is because they are delusional assholes. They rely on racist and hateful religious texts to justify their actions. What makes anyone think that there is anything we can do (other than to promise to live as Dhimmis) in the West that will cause them to live in peace.

Said many times here but one more:
The 'truimph' in Madrid inspires more, not less, Jihad. The only question is where: the Jihadists are dispersed, and perhaps some 'groups' (or even individuals) are 'autonomous' as far as planning goes, but Jihad involves a collective, a global collective, bound by ideology, scripture, traditions, worldwide propaganda, and a single goal: the domination of Islam.
Hence, Spain should expect more not less. The only rational expectation for 'less Jihad'would be that there happen to be more opportunities for Jihad elsewhere, or some Jihadist groups, that actually strategize, might want to make an example of Spain's weakness to encourage the spread of Islam.
But, Jihadists are very strange creatures. Luxor, Bali, Morroco, Tunisia, Nigeria...there are times when the opportunity for blood lust and an 'easy triumph' for Allah simply cannot be kept in bounds.
A triumph means more not less. Lesson #1 in 'Coping With Jihadist Mass Murder'.

Well there must be an awful lot of silly assed Spaniards scratching their stupid heads wondering why in the hell those radical Muslims would want to do them more harm after they have already surrendered. Must come as quite a shock to the yellow bellies that were so eager to cave in. The peoples of Spain are most likely yet to learn what their show of weakness is going visit upon them.

You can be sure there isn't a lot of "Hola!" happening this time in Spain.
Its "Asshola" happening instead...

Looks like there are some dhimmi's within Bush's intelligence service Robert.
Militants have missing explosives from Iraq
An armed group claimed in a video yesterday to have obtained a large amount of explosives missing from a munitions depot facility in Iraq and threatened to use them against foreign troops.A group calling itself Al-Islam's Army Brigades, Al-Karar Brigade, said it had coordinated with officers and soldiers of "the American intelligence" to obtain a "huge amount of the explosives that were in the al-Qaqaa facility."
With Osama backing Bush, with Bush letting terrorists get their hands on explosives, and other inconveniences, beginning to look like George W. Bush is not the Christian you think he is, more like a patron of Osama Bin Laden.

15-20%`of all Muslim immigrants being jihad sympathizers, Spain will soon be faced with an impossible security situation: Too many suspects, too little cooperation from Muslim communities, too many targets to cover. Spain and Europe are hostages of Islam.
+ + + + + + +
For the record, Most Spaniards would agree with you, and many US citizens are as clueless as Mr. Zapatero. Democracies blunder at times. The Spaniards were cleverly manipulated . Judge not, lest ye be judged.
