With Christmas under sustained attack from multiculturalists on the one hand and jihadists on the other, it seems only fitting and proper for this site dedicated to universal human rights to wish all of those who observe the day the merriest and most forthright of Christmases.

Merry Xmas to all of you.
In The Netherlands, several public schools have announced they do refrain from celebrating Christmas because they do not want to offend the muslim parents.
What a shame. My happiest childhood memories include my father playing an old 78 record with Nymphs and Shepherds by Purcell, sung in 1929 in the Free Trade (!) Hall of Manchester by 250 children of Manchester Elementary schools (choir mistress: Gertrude Riall). Soooo sweet and beautiful, it stirs my soul everytime I listen to it (20 Old Gramophone recordings 1907-1935, Academy Sound and Vision Ltd, CD AJA 5112, 1993).
Voilà, what do the muslims have to offer in reverse? Ramadan to me seems a grotesque, unhealthy culture. What's the point of not drinking one drop of water the whole day for a school child who needs to take its medicine? (Story told by a friend of mine, who is a teacher.)
And every evening people stuff themselves with food, also eating too many sweets. I prefer Christmas because of the story, very appealing to children, and the music (Weihnachtsoriatorium! The Messiah!).

Hello all,
For obvious reasons I don't celebrate christmas, but would like to offer my congratulations to all infedels on this day.
It is my hope that at least on this day there is no violence (although the 14 million turkeys slaughtered I'm sure wouldn't agree with that).
Wish you all a good & cheery day today.

Naseem,
Thanks for the congratulations and I stand proud to be one of the "infedels".
I do not understand why Islam would not celebrate this day? After all, Muhammad and Muslims speak highly of Jesus, don't they?

Dear Moe's Foe:
You're right that we Muslims should celebrate this day with more vigour given the standing of Jesus in Muslim narratives. That said I just thought I'd let you know that it is celebrated to a certain extent in some quarters of the Muslim world. For example, read my post about one of the events held here in Bahrain to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. And you should know that right now in Bahrain most of our supermarkets and shopping malls are decorated with Christmas trees, lights, santas etc. Our radio station has been playing Christmas songs all week. And just yesterday I saw a couple driving in thir car wearing santa hats with flashing lights!
Anyhows, a Merry Christmas to all of the "infidels" and non-infidels who are celebrating it! Best wishes from the jihadist isle of Bahrain.

HOW EASY THE IRAQI'S FORGET HOW LIFE WAS UNDER SADDAM HUSSEIN.

_________________________________________________Dr. Jack Shepard remembers consoling a father of one of the Children dying in Baghdad's Children's Hospital in March 2001; due to the lack of basic food supplements. by Dr. Jack Shepard Dr. Jack Shepard remebers consoling a father of one of the Children dying in Baghdad's Children's Hospital in March 2001; due to the lack of basic food supplements and adequate medicine, because Saddam Hussein choose to spend Billions of dollars of the Iraqi people money on himself. Dr. Shepard said presently the extremists in Iraq do not respect the uniqueness of each human as they were created by Allah. Dr. Shepard's repeats what the Prophet Mohammad said almost 1400 years ago, "this man will dwell in hell by his actions and this man will dwell in heaven by his." Basically what Dr. Shepard is saying that the teachings of Mohammad have been forgotten by the extremists and presently by their actions the extremists will be judged by the deeds and Allah will send them to dwell in Hell forever. The Prophet Mohammad teaching were based on submission to Allah; to do right and be granted eternal life. Dr. Shepard prayers for the day when the Iraqi people can get on with their lives. If the Iraqi People do not learn to respect each other and begin to speak out against the antisocial behavior and protest it the streets; the Iraqi people will never begin to be able to get on with their lives. To avert continued anarchy the mass of Iraqi People who really wish peace and happiness must speak out in the streets for peace, their silence to what is now happening only allows this twist and distorted situation where we find one Iraqi Brother killing another. This is only happening because many power-monger in the Iraqi population each wish to be an important power-mongers even if he has to kill his fellow Iraqi to establish their dominance as the new Iraqi leader. These people are truly people without a soul and do not fear Allah as the Prophet Mohammad taught. They are creating an environment for themselves where they will never see heaven. I and the world grow weary that this rebellious attitude has now become a fad. Presently in all truth many Iraqi's have become real mindless hypocrites by not stopping and protesting this new generation of power-mongers who are beginning to kill each other in ever greater numbers because they are set on ruling Iraq but reject the world trying to help their fellow Iraqi who are dying and starving because of their inhuman behavior. May Allah Bless Iraq and the Iraqi People with Peace and Happiness. This will only happen when the Average Iraqi man on the street cry out remember Allah you my brothers of Iraq. You must stop this evil behavior or you will dwell in the fires of Hell forever. Merry Christmas to all of my fellow readers on this and other related sites. Every day, I look forward to spending time with all of you on JW/DW, to see what all of you are thinking and saying regarding the issues that Mr. Spencer and Mr. Fitzgerald bring to us.
***To all of the Muslim infidels and the left wing loons (only the ones who hate Jesus, or more so, the thought of having to spend money on Christmas gifts), I especially want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and to remind all of them that freedom is on the march all over the world, no matter what these idiot radical Islamist blasphemers think or what they keep trying to do.
Middle East societies have failed under shari'a, as most of their citizens (or unfortunately, peasants) live and starve in squalor. Those on this planet who are sane and decent have seen the barbaric mindset of those involved in shari'a, and know that it must be placed in the history books, under “The ways in which human beings must never behave”.
Muslim infidels, no true and just God advocates violence and the destruction of his own gift to all of us, which is human life itself.
Again, Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all- Jihad Watch is indispensable in this day and age. Let us pray that all those defending us from the Islamofascists are themselves protected and guided.
And for your delectation this day:
A Christmas Hymn
by Richard Wilbur
"And some of the Pharisees from among
the multitude said unto him, Master,
rebuke thy disciples.
And he answered and said unto them,
I tell you that if these should hold their peace,
the stones would immediately cry out."
Luke 19:39-40
A stable lamp is lighted
Whose glow shall wake the sky;
And stars shall bend their voices,
And every stone shall cry.
And every stone shall cry,
And straw like gold shall shine;
A barn shall harbour heaven,
A stall become a shrine.
This child through David's city
Shall ride in triumph by;
The palm shall strew its branches,
And every stone shall cry.
And every stone shall cry,
Though heavy, dull and dumb,
And lie within the roadway
To pave his kingdom come.
Yet he shall be forsaken,
And yielded up to die;
The sky shall groan and darken,
And every stone shall cry.
And every stone shall cry,
For stony hearts of men:
God's blood upon the spearhead,
God's love refused again.
But now, as at the ending,
The low is lifted high;
The stars shall bend their voices,
And every stone shall cry.
And every stone shall cry,
In praises of the child
By whose descent among us
The worlds are reconciled.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

As for 2005, reality will no doubt prove to be stranger than any work of fiction. It will be an especially tough year for the tiny nation of Israel and the body of Christ. We will endure, no doubt, but I belive the Holy Spirit of God is on the march and we are beginning to see the reality of sin be it of islamic origins or of secular humanism. Let peace reign!

We are truely blessed to live in this time.
Marx writes in the 18th Brumaire of Louis Napoleon,
Man makes his own history, but he does not make it out of whole cloth; he does not make it out of conditions he has chosen himself, but out of conditions he finds himself in.
Consider our good fortune: Voletti is going to be married soon, and will go on to have a good life with the man she chose over me. Voletti and her husband will carry on with their lives together for years; but look at our Moslem cousins profiled here a matter of days ago: Their idea of a honeymoon was to murder peole in a "suicide" bombing. That girl, 16 years old, did not choose her circumstances and conditions. Our friend is going forward into happiness; and the Moslem girl is going forward to prison, lucky for her. Maybe over the course of the coming years the girl will have time to think and learn and perhaps to dream. While Voletti has babies and lives like a Human being, the Moslem girl will sit in a cell underground wasting her life time. Marx continues: "The dead hand of tradition lies upon the minds of the living like a corpse." Voletti has everything to look forward to. Our Moslem cousins have only death brought down upon them by Islamic tradition and culture. Mna makes his own history, but sometimes it requires assistence from outside to make a better one.
We are blessed. We have the greatest challenge the world has seen since my Grandparents were young: we have the chance to save the world of Islam from the world of Islam. In a world where 16 year old girls are driven to suicide by immolation; where they're stoned to death for walking along in a French village; when they're sold into prostitution and are then hanged for immorality; in a world where children are sent out on their wedding day to kill and die, then we are blessed by being able to work toward ending that kind of world and to work toward creating one in which all people are free to live and love and raise up children to be loving parents.
For some of us this is a day when we celebrate birth over death. Others have been born into slavery not of their own choosing, and their nasty, brutish, and short lives are little but preparation for murder and suicide.
Unlike our Moslem cousins, we are free to think and choose. We can put our minds to imagining the time when all men are free. We are blessed in that we can work toward that day.
A man wrote here some months ago that he is raising two neices. He said he'll raise them to hate Islam, that very Islam that made men kill those girls' mother on September 11, 2001. That very Islam is murder every day. Daily, Islam makes motherless children and childless mothers. We are blessed in that we can change that world of Islam into one of Human decency and freedom in which mothers and children live happily and securely. What great thing it is that we do! And what great tragedy it is that we've lost our own.
Men make their own history. The slaves of Allah make death.
But we are blessed. We are fighting for the Good, and there is no doubt in the minds of Men and Women who are free to think. This is our time, and our conditions are so. I rejoice in this birth.
T.S. Eliot writes in "The Rock" that where old beams are rotten we will replace them with new ones, and that where the old bricks are crumbled we will replace them with new stone. We have the bricks. We have the Mortar.
Eliot writes:
The world turns and the world changes,
But one thing does not change.
In all my years, one thing does not change,
However you disguise it, this one thing does not change:
The perpetual struggle of Good and Evil.
Islam is dying. A new world is coming. We are blessed by finding ourselves at the bedside of this new birth.
On this day at this time, at this time of birth and life, let us think of the unchosen conditions of those we've lost but also of those we will save by struggling for the Good, those 16 year old girls and those mothers whose children will have to grow up without them.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Will someone please explain? I've heard a few times that Jesus is thought highly of in Islam and this confuses me. Just recently on Fox, Irshad Manji, author of The Trouble with Islam, said that Jesus was one of the top five characters or prophets (something to that effect) in Islam.
Does Islam proclaim that Jesus was a Muslim? That He was not a Jew? What's the story?
Thank you.

May our nation stay prosperous and safe in the face of danger.
May our troups come back safely after a total victory in Iraq.

Greg, there are others on this site who know far more than i on the subject.
However, as i understand it, the first moslem, mo the messenger, came along 6oo years after Christ, and several hundred years after the Christian New Testament had been circulating among Christians, and, claimed that only he, an illiterate, knew the true story of Christ, and Christians were lying.
He said the same about the Old Testament, which had been in 'book' form for a thousand years: the Jews were lying, only he, mo, knew the truth.
Amongst 'the truth' he knew, was that every one, Christ, Moses, King David, Mary M., Joshua, everyone, in both the old and new books, were moslems.
He took stories from the old and new books, got them totally wrong in his telling, and, of course, said he was right and the Christians and Jews were lying etc.
Keep in mind, non of the arab tribes accepted mo voluntarily, or thus, bought his bs. But, with bribery, war, murder, assasinations, torture, and by giving his male followers what every adolescent male dreams of, total control over women, he, over 10 years of wars and bloodshed, won. No one, at the time, bought his bs., it was forced on them.
Moslems are forbidden to read either the old or new testaments, for obvious reasons.
So moslems have adopted a totally rewritten, and crudely, rudely and totally missing the points, version of the long historical and philosophical journey of Christians and Jews, as their own.
All the characters, they have been told by the first moslem, mo, were moslems. This bizarre impossibility does not seem to impede their acceptance of this tripe.
Sadly, he, mo, also has obliterated the real arab history totally - anything pre-mo is of no interest to arab moslems, so they now have no history whatsoever that, for them, has any credence or importance.

Merry Christmas All and thanks for taking a stance against radical islam. I would venture to imagine that every one visiting and posting to this site has grave concerns for Humanity and devote a lot of time and effort to stay informed, passing along information, trading ideas, signing petitions, donating monie's, etc.
I have to admit that I am a reluctant Conservative with Liberal views who will use every resource available me to fight this insurgency and tame the tiger.
Greg asks how Muslims view Jesus (Isa); Mohamad was very cautious as to Isa while interpreting the Quaran,Isa is highly revered in the Muslim community and Isa is mentioned in the Quaran more more than any other subject or individual, he is believed to have been borne of the Virgin Mary and is viewed as prophet so as to explain away the miracles performed and the wisdom displayed, he was not viewed as Muslim but you had better believe he is given his due respect in the Muslim community and is treated with respect.
I wonder why this may be? Do you think Mohamad may have actually known the truth.

Thanks again.

Greg- Jesus is viewed as a prophet by Islam, but not as the Son of God. He is understood to be the son of Mary, but Mary (Miriam) the sister of Moses & Aaron- so it's a bit screwed up to say the least. Islam also does not believe that Jesus died on the cross, but that Judas was put in His place.
One of the main questions a Muslim has to answer (if he lets you ask it) is: you say Muhammed received a revelation from God. So why should I believe Muhammed and not Joseph Smith, who made exactly the same claim?

Chuck,
certainly do not have the knowledge i should have in this area, but it was my understanding that islam says that all the biblical figures that were Jewish, thus including Christ, with Moses, Aaron et al, were moslem. ie the whole history of the development of our JudeoChristian culture was really done by moslems, and that we Christians and Jews are lying in our 'books'.
Your help in this matter, and from others with more knowledge than i, is much appreciated.
I would also like to wish the guy who sits at the desk where the buck finally stops, his family and loved ones, a joyous Christmas, a Christ filled Christmas.

Thank you miasarx!
No wonder they don't allow followers to ask questions or read anything else! With a foundation that thin, one would think that it would have withered away already.
You're right. There's no difference between Muhammed and Joseph Smith. Yet, the Mormons I've known have all been good, generous, kind people--not qualities that are seen often in Muslims. So, forced to choose, I'd have to go with Joe. (I don't believe either of them, but Joe's group seems much nicer.)
Just curious, if bin Laden were to claim he too had received a revelation from God--do you think he could pull it off?

Here's wishing a Merry Christmas (a Happy Christmas for our British folk) to all who celebrate. :-D
To voletti: May G-d bless you with a warm and lovely wedding day, filled with much joy and Simcha (the Hebrew word for prospective joy). And may your marriage be blessed with more days of happiness and love, than days of difficulty and sorrow.
Hey all, when did we accept the term "Infidel" upon ourselves?? I personally find this word disgusting, being as it means that we are heretics who don't believe in the one true G-d. While others might find this term agreeable (and I know it is really done in a mocking format), I think it is offensive and meant to dehumanize us.

Merry Christmas to all!
Infidel is a "relative" term, depending on who is casting it. Without Fidelity to whom? We are all infidels and we all are not infidels.
Words can not hurt you, unless you let them.

Crusader rabbit,
A friend of mine by the name of jd rabbit just left,
Your input so reminded me of her awarenesses.
And greg, i don't know about the possible success of 'obl plays prophet', certainly there has been no shortage of players over the centuries including the 19th century Joseph Smith and the Mormons and an Iranian man, name ?, who started the Bahai faith, both of which are flourishing.

Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Only us non-muslims should be able to call each other "infidel". All muslims should only use the "I" word from now on. This would only be the proper PC thing for them to do.

"Infidel is a "relative" term, depending on who is casting it. Without Fidelity to whom? We are all infidels and we all are not infidels.

Hi crusader rabbit. (btw, love the name. It reminds me of the wild rabbit that attacked President Carter one day when he was fishing - now that rabbit had real Moxi ;-) ) You know, in many ways I agree with you. I realize that taking offense is a choice, however, I reserve the right to take offense when I feel the comment is eggregious enough to warrant it. Are my feelings hurt over it?? Of course not! I couldn't care less that Muslims look at me with contempt. From my perspective, that just shows me just how low and contemptible they/their religion is/are.
That being said, I have no desire to give them any fuel and side with their insanity. If anyone are infidels, it is they. They are the ones who are "Johnny come latelys" telling us WE have it wrong. They point their fingers at us and say that we don't have the correct understanding because we don't believe in THEIR prophet. Well, their prophet was a false prophet who didn't even understand the basis of the religions he stole from to create his own blasphemous version of a monotheistic faith. And they have the unmitigated gall to call us "unfaithful" to the truth? Yeah, right!
So, yes, I choose to take offense at the word "infidel," if only to make a point: I will not bow down to their understanding/theology. I will not choose an inferior religion's derogatory and debasing (dehumanizing) word, to call myself or anyone else to whom I share like-mindedness.
Hope that clarifies what I meant in my first comment on this thread.

Being an "infidel" does NOT mean that you do not believe in the One True God (who is NOT "allah"). It means that you are an "unbeliever" in the demonic moon-"god" "allah" of the satanic blood cult of islam. Therefore, you can wear your "Infidel" label with pride.
I do!

What about Indonesia's Boxing Day gift to the world? OK, I will let the Muslims off this time. But just this once. I bet that Saudi Arabia and other wealthy Arab countries only give aid to the (Muslim) Maldives. But nobody is talking about the Christian islanders.
PLEASE SPARE A THOUGHT FOR THE CHRISTIAN NICOBARESE.
The Nicobar Islands took the biggest hit. The Nicobar Islands are 95% Christian. (They resisted all attempts at conversion by outsiders for over 200 years, and had no time for Islam, despite being so close to Banda Atjeh and Malaysia. Then, about 100 years ago, a strange thing happened, one of their own people converted all the tribes in the space of a few decades, and then translated the bible into Nicobarese. The conversion was completely indigenous and free willed).
It seems as if about 5% of the Nicobarese have been wiped out and about half are now homeless. These are special people as Christianity is rare in this corner of Asia.
The Nicobar Islands belong to India simply because they were part of the British Empire, although the Nicobarese have no linguistic, cultural or racial links with mainland India.
The islands are completely off-limits to the outside world and the Indian government has done nothing to develop the local economy. The last time I looked, there was not a single site on the internet dedicated to these beautiful and interesting islands.
-------------------------------
"These islands lying so immediately under the sun, have a luxuriance of which those who have not seen them can form but a faint conception. Trees so valuable, so beautiful, so deservedly prized in other parts of the world, here are wild, neglected and valueless, being merely employed for fuel or hut building."
A description of the Nicobar Islands from "Reconnoitring, Voyages, Travels & Adventures in the New Colonies of South Australia, &c. &c. &c." (State Library of New South Wales) by W.H. Leigh, 1839.

Timbo says,
"The last time I looked, there was not a single site on the internet dedicated to these beautiful and interesting islands."
Your're kidding right?
Google has page after page of Nicobar Islands websites.
Please link me up to where it shows a 95% Christian population. It appears most of the people are hindu although this link sights the source to be a 1991 census it appears that Hindu is by far the religion of choice followed by Christianity a distant 2nd.

The Nicobar Islands looks like any other island to me. I'd be just as happy snokeling off the FL keys as to go all the way to Nicobar Islands. Even if I had free airfare ie retired military etc I still don't see the advantage of Nicobar Islands. I suppose I would impress all my friends and relatives by going all the way to Nicobar Islands. And for what? Tell me what Nicobar Islands has that HI or many US coastal towns doesn't?
And what about this? You say "The Nicobar Islands took the biggest hit." This shows that only 20 people died.

Sorry Timbo your post is BS.

No doubt the numbers of dead Nicobarians (sic) has risen from 20 but look at this stat from the New York Sun.
..In addition to private organizations' efforts, a $15 million aid package has been offered by the American government to the Asian countries, including $4.4 million of a $6.6 million appeal by the Red Cross from the world community. The 25-nation European Union has pledged $4 million.
Thats right, the US coughs up $15Million while 25 EU Countries COMBINED DONATES A MEASLY 4 Million! wtf?
Someone tell me why the US taxpayers once again are shelling out money to foreigners on the other side of the world?
Tell me how many dollars the Nicobarian Islanders sent to America to help the Okies when the tornados hit and killed hundreds?
Where is the outpouring of generosity when the hurricanes hit the east coast of the US.
I could be wrong but my thought is that the Nicobarian islanders living in their tropical paradise don't give a rats ass about America or the EU.

YOU'RE ALL HEART CROSS! WHY SHOULD THE RICH HELP THE POOR? YOU TELL ME...
FORTUNATELY I HAVE MET SO MANY GREAT AMERICANS THAT I KNOW YOU ARE IN A TINY MINORITY, SO I WILL NOT BRING YOUR NATION INTO THIS.
I HAVE BEEN TO THE ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS.
YES THE ANDAMAN/NICOBAR GROUP IF TAKEN AS A WHOLE (THEY FORM ONE INDIAN UNION TERRITORY) ARE MAJORITY HINDU, HOWEVER THE NICOBAR ISLANDS, POPULATED BY THE NICOBARESE, ARE MAJORITY CHRISTIAN. THE BULK OF THE POPULATION LIVE ON THE ANDAMANS.
LAST INFO I HEARD WAS THAT 2,000 WERE DEAD ON THESE ISLANDS. (SOURCE = THE BBC)
YOU WILL FIND THAT MANY CHRISTIAN TRIBALS IN INDIA ARE VERY PRO-AMERICAN. I WAS IN SUCH AN AREA THIS YEAR AND WAS SURPRISED TO SEE HOW MANY U.S. FLAGS I SAW ON HATS, CARS, TRUCKS, SHIRTS ETC. ETC.. THEY HAVE MUCH LOVE & RESPECT FOR YOUR COUNTRY.
N0BODY SENDS MONEY TO THE USA, BECAUSE YOU ARE THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND YOUR GOVERNMENT DOES NOT NEED IT. YOU ARE ALSO THE WORLD'S BIGGEST POLLUTER, AND YOU ARE SCREWING UP THIS PLANET FOR THE REST OF US. WE ARE ALL PAYING FOR AMERICANS. WHEN OUR TROOPS DIE IN IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN, WE PAY FOR THE AMERICANS.
YES, THERE ARE MANY SITES DEDICATED TO "THE ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS" BUT IF YOU REALLY LOOK, YOU WILL FIND ALMOST ALL THE INFO IS ABOUT THE ANDAMANS (not the Nicobars). THE NICOBAR ISLANDS ARE FAR SMALLER, VERY DIFFERENT AND OUT OF BOUNDS TO TOURISTS.
DO YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU A LIST OF BOOKS TO READ ABOUT THESE ISLANDS? IT SEEMS YOU KNOW NOTHING, BUT YOU THINK YOU ARE AN EXPERT.
BUT HEY, I'VE ONLY BEEN THERE, AND I'VE ONLY READ TEN BOOKS ABOUT THEM - WHAT THE HELL DO I KNOW!

"Despite the efforts of half a dozen European nations to convert the Nicobarese, their acceptance of Christ eventually came about through their own efforts, rather than through that of outside agencies. In 1896, a South Indian missionary called Vedappan Solomon arrived at the islands. The locals liked him and he started a school in Mus village with 12 students. One of his young students was called Hachevke, who Vedappan rechristened ‘John Richardson’ and the promising young man was packed off to a college in British Burma.
John Richardson returned to his native islands in 1912 and started a Christian school of his own, and in due course became the most important individual in Nicobarese history. Richardson became a bishop in 1950, and by 1970, he had translated the bible into Nicobarese. Where so many had failed, and died in the process, this powerfully charismatic man managed almost single-handedly to convert 95 per cent of the Nicobarese to Christianity. It was also due to his efforts that the local cooperative society started, which subsequently became the mainstay of the tribal economy and stopped the islanders being cheated by traders from Port Blair."
This is also BS is it? Wow Cross, please tell us more about the Andaman & Nicobar Islands!
"Please link me up to where it shows a 95% Christian population."
I can't - I told you, there is no site dedicated just to the Nicobar Islands! The A&N Island sites only talk about the Andamans.
"Someone tell me why the US taxpayers once again are shelling out money to foreigners on the other side of the world?"
Ahhh... that Christmas spirit! Anyway, when did I ask anybody to give any money? I just said these guys are Christians, not Muslims. Gosh - what a fuss over nothing!
"Even if I had free airfare ie retired military etc I still don't see the advantage of Nicobar Islands."
The Nicobar islands (what is left of them) have several unique species of plants and animals that only appear in those islands and an interesting tribal culture. "Culture". Hmmmmm.... that's a tough one to explain to an American. [Only joking folks!]
;;;;;;;;;;;;;
A BELATED MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL NICOBARESE & AMERICANS. HAVE A SAFE & HAPPY 2005.

Timbo says,
"YOU'RE ALL HEART CROSS! WHY SHOULD THE RICH HELP THE POOR?"
Really? I suppose the dead tornado victims in the dust of Oklahoma are richer than the islanders of the Nicobar paradise you so aptly long for.
"FORTUNATELY I HAVE MET SO MANY GREAT AMERICANS THAT I KNOW YOU ARE IN A TINY MINORITY, SO I WILL NOT BRING YOUR NATION INTO THIS."
Really? I bet those Great Americans thought you were just another sycophant.
"I HAVE BEEN TO THE ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS.
YES THE ANDAMAN/NICOBAR GROUP IF TAKEN AS A WHOLE (THEY FORM ONE INDIAN UNION TERRITORY) ARE MAJORITY HINDU, HOWEVER THE NICOBAR ISLANDS, POPULATED BY THE NICOBARESE, ARE MAJORITY CHRISTIAN. THE BULK OF THE POPULATION LIVE ON THE ANDAMANS."
Really? You have been to the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS wow I'm so impressed!
"LAST INFO I HEARD WAS THAT 2,000 WERE DEAD ON THESE ISLANDS. (SOURCE = THE BBC)"
Really? Well you aren't there to count them now are you so how do you know...the BBC? You watch when the "official" numbers are in and it will be from the American Red cross. Get that, AMERICAN.
"YOU WILL FIND THAT MANY CHRISTIAN TRIBALS IN INDIA ARE VERY PRO-AMERICAN. I WAS IN SUCH AN AREA THIS YEAR AND WAS SURPRISED TO SEE HOW MANY U.S. FLAGS I SAW ON HATS, CARS, TRUCKS, SHIRTS ETC. ETC.. THEY HAVE MUCH LOVE & RESPECT FOR YOUR COUNTRY."
Really? But this is just the Christian minority, the majority are Hindu and couldn't care less about the US or you.
"N0BODY SENDS MONEY TO THE USA, BECAUSE YOU ARE THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND YOUR GOVERNMENT DOES NOT NEED IT. YOU ARE ALSO THE WORLD'S BIGGEST POLLUTER, AND YOU ARE SCREWING UP THIS PLANET FOR THE REST OF US. WE ARE ALL PAYING FOR AMERICANS. WHEN OUR TROOPS DIE IN IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN, WE PAY FOR THE AMERICANS."
This statement this plain angers me. You and you liberal types think us US taxpayers owe everyone in the world our fuc*ing hard earned money. Truth is we don't owe you or the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS tribal people a damn thing. If we didn't give away so much money we would all have 100% health care in America. We don't though, why? Because we spend it all protecting other countries countries like the one you probably live in. We protect your dumb ass and all you do is complain that we are rich, you suck!
"YES, THERE ARE MANY SITES DEDICATED TO "THE ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS" BUT IF YOU REALLY LOOK, YOU WILL FIND ALMOST ALL THE INFO IS ABOUT THE ANDAMANS (not the Nicobars). THE NICOBAR ISLANDS ARE FAR SMALLER, VERY DIFFERENT AND OUT OF BOUNDS TO TOURISTS."
Really? Out of bounds? Then why the fuc* should I help pay to put some sandbar out in the middle of the ocean back together when I can't even go have a look at it? Ridiculous!
"DO YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU A LIST OF BOOKS TO READ ABOUT THESE ISLANDS? IT SEEMS YOU KNOW NOTHING, BUT YOU THINK YOU ARE AN EXPERT."
O Please do, nothing I would want more than to read up on the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS.
Some sandpit where I could never tour even if I wanted to. Fuc* U
"BUT HEY, I'VE ONLY BEEN THERE, AND I'VE ONLY READ TEN BOOKS ABOUT THEM - WHAT THE HELL DO I KNOW!"
Timbo is smart. He reads about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS. He's even been there before. Wow you are so cultured and sophisticated. You know about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS! Tell me more, tell me more about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS!
Finally Timbo says,
"The Nicobar islands (what is left of them) have several unique species of plants and animals that only appear in those islands and an interesting tribal culture. "Culture". Hmmmmm.... that's a tough one to explain to an American. [Only joking folks!]"
America, the richest country in the world (according to Timbo). America, a country without universal healtcare for all citizens, owes Timbo and the people of the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS money.
America, the richest country in the world has no culture. I guess I should hop on a Plane (which btw an AMERICAN invented!) and fly to the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS so I can be cultured just like Timbo.

Timbo,
Timbo has been reading up on the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS. These are some of the islands that got hit with some ocean water from the tsunamis. For those of you who are not so enlightened on these great Islands, these are islands that no one can visit according to the ever so smart Timbo, he's been reading up on books about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS,ten at last count he claims. Ten books this guy has read about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS and they are "out of bounds" to tourists...that means you cannot go there, I guess they must really be special.
He thinks us Americans are so rich that we can easily afford to pay out millions of taxpayers dollars to help the island tribal people rebuild their island paradise of ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS while we struggle to survive here in America oh and don't think of ever going there because even after all the millions and millions of dollars and all the manpower and hospital and medical aid, no American or any one else can go visit or tour there. It's off limits says Timbo the expert on the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS afetr all he read TEN whole books about the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS.
He is so enlightened and so in touch with the rest of the world he is so cool and hip, why just look at how he sneers at America. That is really cool isn't it? Timbo is such a cool enlighted kind of dude, wow I wish I was as cool and hip as he is. Too bad he doesn't help the people of the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS with his own money. This hypocrit thinks it should always be the rich Americans that should pay for everything that happens to people on this planet and then scoffs at us.
Too bad Timbo the expert on the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS wasn't there to have drowned with the rest of the people he thinks are so much greater and cultured than us uncultured Americans. These tribal people on the great ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS have plants and animals, wow can you imagine? Plants and animals that are so much better and enlightened than anything found in America.
Hey Timbo what country do you call home?
