How Chinagate Led to 9/11

As the 9/11 Commission tries to uncover what kept intelligence agencies from preventing September 11, it has overlooked two vital factors: Jamie Gorelick and Bill Clinton. Gorelick, who has browbeaten the current administration, helped erect the walls between the FBI, CIA and local investigators that made 9/11 inevitable. However, she was merely expanding the policy Bill Clinton established with Presidential Decision Directive 24. What has been little underreported is why the policy came about: to thwart investigations into the Chinese funding of Clinton’s re-election campaign, and the favors he bestowed on them in return.
In April, CNSNews.com staff writer Scott Wheeler reported that a senior U.S. government official and three other sources claimed that the 1995 memo written by Jamie Gorelick, who served as the Clinton Justice Department’s deputy attorney general from 1994 to 1997, created "a roadblock" to the investigation of illegal Chinese donations to the Democratic National Committee. But the picture is much bigger than that. The Gorelick memo, which blocked intelligence agents from sharing information that could have halted the September 11 hijacking plot, was only the mortar in a much larger maze of bureaucratic walls whose creation Gorelick personally oversaw.

It’s a story the 9/11 Commission may not want to hear, and one that Gorelick – now incredibly a member of that commission – has so far refused to tell. But it is perhaps the most crucial one to understanding the intentional breakdown of intelligence that led to the September 11 disaster.

Nearly from the moment Gorelick took office in the Clinton Justice Department, she began acting as the point woman for a large-scale bureaucratic reorganization of intelligence agencies that ultimately placed the gathering of intelligence, and decisions about what – if anything – would be done with it. This entire operation was under near-direct control of the White House. In the process, more than a dozen CIA and FBI investigations underway at the time got caught beneath the heel of the presidential boot, investigations that would ultimately reveal massive Chinese espionage as millions in illegal Chinese donations filled Democratic Party campaign coffers.

When Gorelick took office in 1994, the CIA was reeling from the news that a Russian spy had been found in CIA ranks, and Congress was hungry for a quick fix. A month after Gorelick was sworn in, Bill Clinton issued Presidential Decision Directive 24. PDD 24 put intelligence gathering under the direct control of the president’s National Security Council, and ultimately the White House, through a four-level, top-down chain of command set up to govern (that is, stifle) intelligence sharing and cooperation between intelligence agencies. From the moment the directive was implemented, intelligence sharing became a bureaucratic nightmare that required negotiating a befuddling bureaucracy that stopped directly at the President’s office.

First, the directive effectively neutered the CIA by creating a National Counterintelligence Center (NCI) to oversee the Agency. NCI was staffed by an FBI agent appointed by the Clinton administration. It also brought multiple international investigations underway at the time under direct administrative control. The job of the NCI was to “implement counterintelligence activities,” which meant that virtually everything the CIA did, from a foreign intelligence agent’s report to polygraph test results, now passed through the intelligence center that PDD 24 created.

NCI reported to an administration-appointed National Counterintelligence Operations Board (NCOB) charged with “discussing counterintelligence matters.” The NCOB in turn reported to a National Intelligence Policy Board, which coordinated activities between intelligence agencies attempting to work together. The policy board reported “directly” to the president through the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

The result was a massive bureaucratic roadblock for the CIA – which at the time had a vast lead on the FBI in foreign intelligence – and for the FBI itself, which was also forced to report to the NCOB. This hampered cooperation between the two entities. All this occurred at a time when both agencies were working separate ends of investigations that would eventually implicate China in technology transfers and the Democratic Party in a Chinese campaign cash grab.

And the woman charged with selling this plan to Congress, convince the media and ultimately implement much of it? Jamie Gorelick.

Many in Congress, including some Democrats, found the changes PDD 24 put in place baffling: they seemed to do nothing to insulate the CIA from infiltration while devastating the agency’s ability to collect information. At the time, Democrat House Intelligence Chairman Dan Glickman referred to the plan as “regulatory gobbledygook." Others questioned how FBI control of CIA intelligence would foster greater communication between the lower levels of the CIA and FBI, now that all information would have to be run through a multi-tier bureaucratic maze that only went upward.

Despite their doubts, Gorelick helped the administration sell the plan on Capitol Hill. The Directive stood.

But that wasn’t good enough for the Clinton administration, which wanted control over every criminal and intelligence investigation, domestic and foreign, for reasons that would become apparent in a few years. For the first time in Justice Department history, a political appointee, Richard Scruggs – an old crony or Attorney General Janet Reno’s from Florida – was put in charge of the Office of Intelligence and Policy Review (OIPR). OIPR is the Justice Department agency in charge of requesting wiretap and surveillance authority for criminal and intelligence investigations on behalf of investigative agencies from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court. The court’s activities are kept secret from the public.

A year after PDD 24, with the new bureaucratic structure loaded with administration appointees, Gorelick drafted the 1995 memo Attorney General John Ashcroft mentioned while testifying before the 9/11 Commission. The Gorelick memo, and other supporting memos released in recent weeks, not only created walls within the intelligence agencies that prevented information sharing among their own agents, but effectively walled these agencies off from each other and from outside contact with the U.S. prosecutors instrumental in helping them gather the evidence needed to make the case for criminal charges.

The only place left to go with intelligence information – particularly for efforts to share intelligence information or obtain search warrants – was straight up Clinton and Gorelick’s multi-tiered chain of command. Instead, information lethal to the Democratic Party languished inside the Justice Department, trapped behind Gorelick’s walls.

The implications were enormous. In her letter of protest to Attorney General Reno over Gorelick’s memo, United States Attorney Mary Jo White spelled them out: “These instructions leave entirely to OIPR and the (Justice Department) Criminal Division when, if ever, to contact affected U.S. attorneys on investigations including terrorism and espionage,” White wrote. (Like OIPR, the Criminal Division is also part of the Justice Department.)

Without an enforcer, the walls might Gorelick’s memo put in place might not have held. But Scruggs acted as that enforcer, and he excelled at it. Scruggs maintained Gorelick’s walls between the FBI and Justice's Criminal Division by threatening to automatically reject any FBI request for a wiretap or search warrant if the Bureau contacted the Justice Department's Criminal Division without permission. This deprived the FBI, and ultimately the CIA, of gathering advice and assistance from the Criminal Division that was critical in espionage and terrorist cases.

It is no coincidence that this occurred at the same time both the FBI and the CIA were churning up evidence damaging to the Democratic Party, its fundraisers, the Chinese and ultimately the Clinton administration itself. Between 1994 and the 1996 election, as Chinese dollars poured into Democratic coffers, Clinton struggled to reopen high-tech trade to China. Had agents confirmed Chinese theft of weapons technology or its transfer of weapons technology to nations like Pakistan, Iran and Syria, Clinton would have been forced by law and international treaty to react.

Gorelick’s appointment to the job at Justice in 1994 occurred during a period in which the FBI had begun to systematically investigate technology theft by foreign powers. For the first time, these investigations singled out the U.S. chemical, telecommunications, aircraft and aerospace industries for intelligence collection.

By the time Gorelick wrote the March 1995 memo that sealed off American intelligence agencies from each other and the outside world, all of the most critical Chinagate investigations by American intelligence agencies were already underway. Some of their findings were damning:

• In an investigation originally instigated by the CIA, the FBI was beginning its search for the source of the leak of W-88 nuclear warhead technology to China among the more than 1,000 people who had access to the secrets. Despite Justice Department stonewalling and the Department’s refusal to seek wiretap authority in 1997, the investigation eventually led to Wen Ho Lee and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
• The FBI first collected Extensive evidence in 1995 linking illegal Democratic Party donations to China, according to the Congressional Record. But Congress and the Director of the CIA didn’t find out about the Justice Department’s failure to act upon that evidence until 1997, safely after the 1996 election.
• According to classified CIA documents leaked to the Washington Times, between 1994 and 1997, the CIA learned that China sold Iran missile technology, a nuclear fission reactor, advanced air-defense radar and chemical agents. The Chinese also provided 5,000 ring magnets to Pakistan, used in producing weapons-grade uranium. The Chinese also provided uranium fuel for India's reactors.

In many cases the CIA resorting to leaking classified information to the media, in an effort to bypass the administration’s blackout.

Gorelick knew these facts well. While Clinton may have refused to meet with top CIA officials, Gorelick didn’t. According to a 1996 report by the legal news service American Lawyer Media, Gorelick and then-Deputy Director of the CIA George Tenet met every other week to discuss intelligence and intelligence sharing.

But those in the Clinton administration weren’t the only ones to gain from the secrecy. In 1994, the McDonnell Douglas Corporation transferred military-use machine tools to the China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation that ended up in the hands of the Chinese army. The sale occurred despite Defense Department objections. McDonnell Douglas was a client of the Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin, L.L.P. (now called Baker Botts), the Washington, D.C., law firm where Gorelick worked for 17 years and was a partner. Ray Larroca, another partner in the firm, represented McDonnell in the Justice Department’s investigation of the technology transfer.

In 1995, General Electric, a former client of Gorelick’s, also had much to lose if the damaging information the CIA and the FBI had reached Congress. At the time, GE was publicly lobbying for a lucrative permit to assist the Chinese in replacing coal-fired power stations with nuclear plants. A 1990 law required that the president certify to Congress that China was not aiding in nuclear proliferation before U.S. companies could execute the business agreement.

Moreover, in 1995, Michael Armstrong, then the CEO of Hughes Electronics – a division of General Electric and another client of Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin – was publicly lobbying Clinton to switch satellite export controls from the State Department to the Commerce Department. After the controls were lifted, Hughes and another company gave sensitive data to the Chinese, equipment a Pentagon study later concluded would allow China to develop intercontinental and submarine-launched ballistic missiles aimed at American targets. Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin partner Randall Turk represented Hughes in the Congressional, State Department, and Justice Department investigations that resulted.

The Cox Report, which detailed Chinese espionage for Congress during the period, revealed that FBI surveillance caught Chinese officials frantically trying to keep Democratic donor Johnny Chung from divulging any information that would be damaging to Hughes Electronics. Chung funneled $300,000 in illegal contributions from the Chinese military to the DNC between 1994 and 1996.

It was this web of investigations that led Gorelick and Bill Clinton to erect the wall between intelligence agencies that resulted in the toppling of the Twin Towers. The connections go on and on, but they all lead back to Gorelick, the one person who could best explain how the Clinton administration neutered the American intelligence agencies that could have stopped the September 11 plot. Yet another high crime will have been committed if the September 11 Commission doesn’t demand testimony from her.

Yes, of course. In the 20's, we had gangsters who essentially waged war on society by robbing banks in search of financial reward. The G-men was created to confront them and were known as "untouchables".

Now we have a new enemy, the Islamists, who are freely allowed to immigrate into our country and are plotting a thousand ways to do us in while President Bush babbles about values not stopping at the Rio Grande (Where they should be stopped unless lawfully allowed), and spreading democracy to islamic tribes whose values are islamic, not Christian and not Judeo-Christian.

So why is this "Middle Eastern" man sought? Number one because he was allowed to freely come into our country under the false assumptions of a universalist creed that does not now nor ever has existed, that all civilisations are equal. And number two, because he knows that Islam in in America to sytay, it has a permanent footprint that demands the next phase of the islamist agenda, creating the conditions for the coming intifida.

Good to know the Federal authorities are investigating another avenue that terrorists can use. I just hope, in view the intelligence agencies have been overhauled, all the Federal intelligence agencies are working together. The amount of potential explosives - 500 tons for example - could result in a tremendous amount of damage. For example - if that amount was to be loaded onto large truck, it would require about 25 to 30 trucks that could be directed at various targets with catastrophic results as well as many smaller vehicles. It would be wise to use all resources to capture this individual as well as any others with a Middle Eastern connection as well as investigate the “construction company”. Having done this, comes the Political Correctness;

“Racial Profiling”
“Discrimination”
“Out of Context”
The list goes on and on.

SAN FRANCISCO -- On Jan. 1, California became the first state in the nation to ban the .50-caliber long-range rifle, a firearm that gun-control advocates have portrayed as a military weapon that could easily fall into the hands of terrorists trying to assassinate a foreign leader or shoot down an airplane.

Michel, the lawyer for the gun rights group, said invoking a .50-caliber ban in the name of terrorism was a scare tactic without merit. "The terrorist can get a nuclear dirty bomb or a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher," Michel said. "The .50-caliber is just a pea shooter in comparison."

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A roadside bomb containing sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. Two people were treated for ``minor exposure,'' but no serious injuries were reported.
``The Iraqi Survey Group confirmed today that a 155-millimeter artillery round containing sarin nerve agent had been found,'' said Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, the chief military spokesman in Iraq. ``The round had been rigged as an IED (improvised explosive device) which was discovered by a U.S. force convoy.

Jan Egeland's slip is showing UN's real mission

The comment by UN Undersecretary for Human Services Jan Egeland that Americans are under-taxed and stingy is yet another manifestation of the UN’s uglier side. While the organization played a vital role in world affairs more than 50 years ago, today’s UN bears little resemblance to the organization that was founded in 1945. For openers, it appears that the UN has morphed into a partisan organization of countries dedicated to denigrating America and all for which it stands. Egeland’s insensitive comment is yet more evidence that this is the case.
The fact is the United States government and consequently US taxpayers pay approximately 20% of the UN operating budget. America’s contribution to other nations in need of aid in terms of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is right in line with that of most other western democracies. The percentage of GDP that the US devotes to foreign aid is approximately 1/4 of 1%, which is approximately the same percentage of GDP as that paid by Sweden, Norway and Germany. It is somewhat higher than France and substantially higher than the oil-rich Arab states’ contributions. The annual US contribution to needy countries amounts to approximately 40% of all money spent by all the world’s nations on foreign aid.
However, facts have never deterred UN officials from pushing their agenda at any opportunity that may arise, no matter how poignant or gauche. A case in point is the recent disaster in Asia, which will likely result in excess of 500,000 deaths when the tally is complete. Egeland’s assertion that Americans are taxed at too low a rate, which prevents them from contributing more in foreign aid (spelled U-N) is indicative of how he and the rest of the UN bureaucracy feels about human beings. In their eyes humans are mere tax drones whose only purpose is to produce an endless revenue stream so that the UN may advance its agenda of "saving the world".
While on the subject of the Asian catastrophe, why did Kofi Annan continue vacationing in the face of one of the greatest natural disasters in history?

VIENNA, Austria — The U.N. atomic watchdog agency has found evidence of secret nuclear experiments in Egypt that could be used in weapons programs, diplomats said Tuesday.

The diplomats told The Associated Press that most of the work was carried out in the 1980s and 1990s but said the International Atomic Energy Agency also was looking at evidence suggesting some work was performed as recently as a year ago. Egypt's government rejected claims it is or has been pursuing a weapons program, saying its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
"A few months ago we denied these kinds of claims and we do so again," Egyptian government spokesman Magdy Rady said. "Nothing about our nuclear program is secret and there is nothing that is not known to the IAEA."
But one of the diplomats said the Egyptians "tried to produce various components of uranium" without declaring it to the IAEA, as they were bound to under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. The products included several pounds of uranium metal and uranium tetrafluoride — a precursor to uranium hexafluoride gas, the diplomat said on condition of anonymity.

Tabari VI:110 “Thus Allah removed the sorrow from his Messenger, reassured him about that which he had feared, and cancelled the words which Satan had cast on his tongue, that their gods were exalted high-flying cranes (goddesses) whose intercession was accepted with approval. He now revealed, following the mention of ‘Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat,’ the words: ‘are yours the males and his the females? That indeed is an unfair division!”
Qur’an 53:1 “I call to witness the Star when it dips. Your Companion (Muhammad) is neither confused, deceived, nor misled [except by Satan, in the guise of Allah]. Nor does he speak out of (his own) desire [unless he is tempted with money, sex, and power]. It is a revelation revealed, He was taught (this Qur’an) by the Supreme Intellect (Gabriel [actually Lucifer]), One free from any defect in body or mind: for he rose and became stable (in stately form), clear to view. While he was in the highest part of the horizon, then he approached and came closer, then he prostrated. He was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or nearer.”

They listened to him, and when he had completed his prayer they went back to their people to warn them, having believed and responded to what they had heard. Allah mentioned their story when he said: Qur’an 46:29 “Behold, We turned towards you (Muhammad) a company of Jinn who wished to hear the Qur’an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, ‘Give ear!’”

Bukhari:V2B21N245 “A person slept in and missed the morning prayer. So the Prophet said, ‘Satan urinated in his ears.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N494 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘When the upper edge of the sun appears in the morning, don’t perform a prayer till it has risen. When the lower edge of the sun sets, don’t perform a prayer till it has set, for the sun rises between two sides of the Satan’s head.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N509 “The Prophet said, ‘Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you during the act of yawning should say: “Ha,” Satan will laugh at him.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N513 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan; so if anyone of you has a bad dream and is afraid, he should spit on his left side, for then it will not harm him.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N516 “The Prophet said, ‘If anyone rouses from sleep and performs ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blow it out thrice because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N522 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘When you hear the crowing of cocks seek blessings, their crowing indicates that they have seen an angel. When you hear the braying of donkeys, seek refuge, for their braying indicates that they have seen Satan.’”
Ishaq:72 “Some months after Muhammad’s return to the desert two men in white seized the boy, threw him down and opened up his belly, stirring it up. His wet nurse said, ‘I am afraid that this child has had a stroke, so I want to take him back before the result appears.’ She carried him back to Muhammad’s mother and said, ‘I am afraid that ill will befall him, so I have brought him back to you.’ She asked what had happened. I said, ‘I fear that a demon has possessed him.’”
Ishaq:90 “Jewish rabbis, Christian monks, and Arab soothsayers had spoken about the Apostle of Allah before his mission when his time drew near. The rabbis and monks found his description in their scriptures. The Arab occultists had been visited by satans from the jinn with reports which they had secretly overheard before they were prevented form hearing by being pelted with stars.”
Ishaq:91 “The Prophet explained the nature of shooting stars. ‘Allah shut off the satans by these stars which pelted them. So satans tried to steal information, listening in, mingling what they heard with conjecture and false intelligence. They conveyed it to the soothsayers.’”
Qur’an 67:5 “Your gaze turns back dazed and tired. We have adorned the lowest skies with lamps, and We have made them missiles to drive away the devils and against the stone Satans, and for them We have prepared the doom of Hell and the penalty of torment in the most intense Blazing Fire.”

Bukhari:V4B54N508 “The Prophet said, ‘While angels talk amidst the clouds about things that are going to happen, devils hear what they say and pour it in the ears of soothsayers as one pours something in a bottle, and they add one hundred lies to it.’”
Muslim:C10B16N4168 “Allah’s Messenger said: ‘He seems to be one of the soothsayers on account of the rhymed speech which he has composed.’”
Qur’an 72:1 “Say (Muhammad): ‘It has been revealed to me that a group of (three to ten) Jinn [demons or devils] listened (to the Qur’an). They said, “We have heard a really wonderful recital (of this Qur’an)! It guides to the Right Path. We have come to believe it. We shall not associate anything with our Lord.”

We used to sit there in, hidden in observatories, trying to steal a hearing; but any who listen now will find a shooting star and a flaming fire watching him, lying in wait as an ambush for him. And we Jinn know not whether harm or evil is the intended fate of all men on earth, or whether the Lord intends to give them some guidance.”
Bukhari:V6B60N332 “The Prophet said, ‘Last night a demon from the Jinn came to me to disturb my prayer, but Allah gave me the power to overcome him. I intended to tie him to one of the pillars of the mosque till the morning so that all of you could see him.’”
Bukhari:V5B58N199 “‘Who informed you Prophet about the Jinn [Demons] when they heard the Qur’an?’ He said, ‘A tree informed me about them.’”
Bukhari:V9B93N650 “Some people asked the Prophet about soothsayers. ‘Allah’s Apostle! Some of their talks come true.’ The Prophet said, ‘That word which happens to be true is what a Jinn snatches away by stealth (from Heaven) and pours it in the ears of the soothsayer with a sound like the cackling of a hen. The soothsayer mixes it with one hundred lies.’”
Tabari VI:73/Ishaq:107 “‘Cousin, can you tell me when this visitor comes to you?’ Muhammad replied, ‘Yes.’ She said, ‘Tell me then, when he comes.’ Gabriel came to him as before, and Muhammad said, ‘Here is Gabriel who has just come to me.’ She said, ‘Yes? Come, cousin, and sit by my left thigh.’ He came, and she said, ‘Can you see him?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Move around and sit by my right thigh.’ He did so and she said, ‘Can you see him?’ ‘Yes.’ She said, ‘Sit in my lap.’ He did so, and she said, ‘Can you see him?’ He replied, ‘Yes.’ She was grieved, and flung off her veil and disclosed her body while the Apostle was sitting in her lap, inside her shift next to her body. Then she said, ‘Can you see him?’ ‘No.’ At that she said, ‘Rejoice cousin. By Allah, this spirit is an angel and not Satan.’”

Ishaq:510 “When the Apostle looked down on Khaybar he told his Companions, ‘O Allah, Lord of the heavens and what they overshadow, and Lord of the Devils and what into error they throw, and Lord of the winds and what they winnow, we ask Thee for the booty of this town and its people. Ishaq:106 “None of Allah’s creatures was more hateful to me than an ecstatic poet or a man possessed. I thought, ‘Woe is me, I’m a possessed poet.’” Ishaq:106 “I will go to the top of the mountain and throw myself down that I may kill myself and be at rest.”

Tabari IX:14/Ishaq:572 “While the men were still fighting I saw a black striped garment descending from the sky until it dropped between us and the enemy. I gazed, and lo, it was a mass of black ants strewn everywhere, which filled the valley. I had no doubt that they were angels and that the enemy would be routed.”
Ishaq:580 “Our strong warriors obey his orders to the letter. By us Allah’s religion is undeniably strong. You would think when our horses gallop with bits in their mouths that the sounds of demons are among them.”
Tabari IX:121 “The Messenger called me and said, ‘I suspect that Khalid Sufyan is going to attack me. So go to him and kill him.’ ‘O Prophet, describe him to me so that I might know him.’ He said, ‘When you see him he will remind you of Satan.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N491 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘While you sleep, Satan ties three knots at the back of your head. He blows the following words at each knot, “The night is long so keep sleeping.” If that person wakes up and praises Allah, then one knot is undone. When he performs ablution the second is undone. When he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he is dull and gloomy.’”
Bukhari:V7B71N660 “Magic was worked on Allah’s Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not. That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect. One day he said, ‘O Aisha, do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me and one of them sat near my head and the other near my feet. The one asked, “What is wrong with this man?” “He is under the effect of magic.” “Who cast the magic spell on him?” “Labid, an Arab ally of the Jews and a hypocrite.” “What material did he use to cast the spell?” “A comb with hair stuck to it.” “Where is that comb and hair?” “In a skin of pollen of a male palm tree kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan.”’ So the Prophet went to that well and took out those things, saying, ‘That was the well shown to me in the dream. Its water looked red and its palms looked like the heads of devils. My companions removed those things.’ I said, ‘Why didn’t you just treat yourself?’ He said, ‘Allah has cured me, and I don’t want to spread evil among my people.’”
Bukhari:V7B71N661 “Magic was worked on Allah’s Apostle so that he began to imagine he had done something although he had not. While he was with me, he invoked Allah for a long period and then said, ‘Aisha! Do you know what Allah has instructed me to do regarding the matter I asked Him about?’ ‘What is that?’ He said, ‘Two men came to me. One said, “What is the disease of this man?” The other replied, “He is under the effect of magic.” “Who has worked magic on him?” “Labid, a Jew from the Zuraiq tribe.”’”
Bukhari:V5B58N200 “I carried a water pot for the Prophet’s ablution and for cleaning his private parts. While following him with the pot, the Prophet turned and said, ‘Who are you?’ ‘I am Abu.’ The Prophet said, ‘Bring me stones in order to clean my private parts, but do not bring any bones or animal dung.’ So I brought some stones, carrying them in the corner of my robe till I put them by his side. When he finished, I walked with him and asked, ‘What can you tell me about the bones and the animal dung?’ He said, ‘They are of the food of Jinns [Devils]. A delegate of Jinns of the city of Nasibin came to me—and how nice those Jinns were—and asked me for the remains of human food. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but find food on them.’”

Ishaq:205/Tabari VI:133 “When we had all sworn the oath of allegiance to the Messenger, Satan shouted from the top of Aqabah in the most piercing and penetrating voice I have ever heard. ‘People of the [pagan ritual] stations [of the idolatrous hajj] of Mina, do you want to follow a blameworthy reprobate?’ The Messenger said, ‘What does the Enemy of God say?’ ‘I am the Devil, and I shall deal with you!’”
Ishaq:262 “‘To arms! To arms!’ the Muslims said quarreling and boasting among themselves. When this reached the Prophet, he said, ‘Muslims, will you act as pagans while I am with you?’ They realized that their dissension was due to Satan and the guile of their enemy. Then they went off with the Apostle attentive and obedient.”
Qur’an 2:102 “They follow what Satan chanted and gave out during the lifetime of Solomon. Though Solomon never disbelieved, the devils denied and taught sorcery to men, which they said had been revealed to the angels of Babylon, Harut, and Marut. Ishaq:327 “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”
Qur’an 3:175 “It is the Devil who would make (men) fear his messengers and frighten you. Fear them not; fear Me, if you are believers. And let not those grieve you who fall into unbelief hastily; surely they can do no harm to Allah; they cannot injure Him; Allah intends that He should not give them any portion in the hereafter, and they shall have a grievous doom.”

Tabari I:232 “Gabriel brings to the sun a garment of luminosity from the light of Allah’s Throne according to the measure of the hours of the day. The garment is longer in the summer and shorter in the winter, and of intermediate length in autumn and spring. The sun puts on that garment as one of you here puts on his clothes.”

Tabari I:233 “When the Messenger was asked about that, he replied, ‘When Allah was done with His creation He created two suns from the light of His Throne. His foreknowledge told Him that He would efface one and change it to a moon; so the moon is smaller in size.”

Tabari I:234 “Allah thus sent Gabriel to drag his wing three times over the face of the moon, which at the time was a sun. He effaced its luminosity and left the light in it. This is what Allah means: [in Qur’an 17:12] ‘We have blotted out the sign of the night, and We have made the sign of the day something to see by.’ The blackness you can see as lines on the moon is a trace of the blotting.”

Tabari I:244 “Allah then created for the sun a chariot with 360 handholds from the luminosity of the light of the Throne and entrusted 360 of the angels inhabiting the lower heaven with the sun and its chariot, each of them gripping one of those handholds. Allah also entrusted 360 angels with the moon.”

Tabari I:234 “Then the Prophet said: ‘For the sun and the moon, Allah created easts and wests on the two sides of the earth and the two rims of heaven. There are 180 springs in the west of black clay-this is why Allah’s word says: “He found the sun setting in a muddy spring.” [18:86] The black clay bubbles and boils like a pot when it boils furiously.’”

Qur’an 18:83 “They ask you about Dhu’l-Qarnain [Alexander the Great]. Say, ‘I will cite something of his story. We gave him authority in the land and means of accomplishing his goals. So he followed a path until he reached the setting place of the sun. He saw that it set in black, muddy, hot water. Near it he found people.”

Tabari I:236 “‘When the sun rises upon its chariot from one of those springs it is accompanied by 360 angels with outspread wings…. When Allah wishes to test the sun and the moon, showing His servants a sign and thereby getting them to obey, the sun tumbles from the chariot and falls into the deep end of that ocean. When Allah wants to increase the significance of the sign and frighten His servants severely, all of the sun falls and nothing of it remains in the chariot. That is a total eclipse of the sun. It is a misfortune for the sun.’”

Tabari I:235 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Allah created an ocean three farakhs (918 kilometers) removed from heaven. Waves contained, it stands in the air by the command of Allah. No drop of it is spilled. All the oceans are motionless, but that ocean flows at the speed of an arrow. The sun, moon and retrograde stars [planets] by which Allah swears in the

Qur’an [81:15], run like the sun and moon and race. All of the other stars are suspended from heaven as lamps are from mosques, and circulate together praising Allah. The Prophet said, ‘If you wish to have this made clear, look to the circulation of the sphere alternately here and there.’”

Tabari I:236 “Allah created two cities out in space, each with ten thousand gates, each 6 kilometers distant from the other. By Allah, were those people not so many and so noisy, all the inhabitants of this world would hear the loud crash made by the sun falling when it rises and when it sets. Gabriel took me to them during my Night Journey from the Sacred Mosque [the Ka’aba] to the Farthest Mosque [the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem]. I told the people of these cities to worship Allah but they refused to listen to me.”

Bukhari:V4B54N421 “I walked hand in hand with the Prophet when the sun was about to set. We did not stop looking at it. The Prophet asked, ‘Do you know where the sun goes at sunset?’ I replied, ‘Allah and His Apostle know better.’ He said, ‘It travels until it falls down and prostrates Itself underneath the Throne. The angels who are in charge of the sun prostrate themselves, also. The sun asks permission to rise again. It is permitted. Then it will prostrate itself again but this prostration will not be accepted. The sun then says, “My Lord, where do You command me to rise, from where I set or from where I rose?” Allah will order the sun to return whence it has come and so the sun will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the statement of Allah in the Qur’an.’”

Qur’an 36:38 “The sun keeps revolving in its orbit at the dispensation of the All-Knowing. And the Moon, We have measured for her mansions till she returns like dried date stalks. It is not permitted for the Sun to overtake the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day. Each (just) swims along, floating in (its own) orbit as a Sign as in a race. And we made similar vessels [chariots] for them to ride. But we could have drowned them if we pleased.”

Tabari I:332 “The sun and the moon were in eclipse for seven days and nights.”

Qur’an 67:3 “We created seven heavens, one above the other. Muhammad, can you see any fault in Ar-Rahman’s creation? Look again: Can you see any rifts or fissures? Then look again and yet again. Your gaze turns back dazed and tired. We have adorned the lowest skies with lamps, and We have made them missiles to drive away the devils and against the stone Satans, and for them We have prepared the doom of Hell and the penalty of torment in the most intense Blazing Fire.”
Qur’an 38:27 “We have not created the heavens and earth and all that lies between for nothing.”

Qur’an 21:26 “Don’t the unbelievers see that the heavens and earth were joined together in one piece before we clove them asunder? ...Will they not believe? And We have set on the earth mountains as stabilizers, lest the earth should convulse without them. And We have made therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided. We have made the heaven a roof well guarded. Yet they turn away from its Signs! All (the celestial bodies) swim along, on a course, floating.”

Qur’an 2:189 “They ask you about the New Moons. Say: They are but signs to mark fixed seasons in (the affairs of) men, and for Hajj Pilgrimage.”

Tabari I:204 “I asked the Prophet, ‘Where was Allah before His creation?’ Muhammad replied: ‘He was in a cloud with no air underneath or above it.’”

Tabari I:219 “When Allah wanted to create the creation, He brought forth smoke from the water. The smoke hovered loftily over it. He called it ‘heaven.’ Then He dried out the water and made it earth. He split it and made it seven earths on Sunday. He created the earth upon a big fish, that being the fish mentioned in the

Qur’an. By the Pen, the fish was in the water. The water was upon the back of a small rock. The rock was on the back of an angel. The angel was on a big rock. The big rock was in the wind. The fish became agitated. As a result, the earth quaked, so Allah anchored the mountains and made it stable. This is why the Qur’an says, ‘Allah made for the earth firmly anchored mountains, lest it shake you up.’”

YOU WOULD THINK SOME ONE WHO HAD GODS EAR WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SUN AND THE MOON??

I'm sure that you are a real cutie and I'm learning to love you,....BUT!!!Pleeeeeeeeeeez stop it with the inane long Koran posts.I don't read them and I'm not sure if anyone else does either.I think everyone visiting this site is well enough versed on Islam and the Koran that they need not become scholars on the subject.Speaking for myself, I'll reiterate what I said in my very first comment to this site, that is, that 9-11 taught me all I need to know about Islam and their holy book.I think that many others may share my sentiment as well.

Now, knowing that a real and present danger is visiting upon us, what do we do about it? I think the plan that Susan B and the other regulars are attempting to put together is good for starters but much work is going to be necessary.And you Catherine, as well as many other good patriotic citizens of the USA as well as our freedom loving friends from outside our borders can make valuable contributions. Ideas are the life blood of results and no one person can think of it all.Susan B has ask for input,so all of you put your thinking caps on and respond to her request.There's an Islamic tsunami at our shores and the good people that will fight the good fight will determine the outcome.

O.T but I want to put this out there. I'm a model-T kind of guy being dragged kicking into the high tech 21st century.I did not own a computer or touch a keyboard until six months ago. Therefore my typing skills leave a lot to be desired. I type at the blazing speed of a three legged turtle. So please no comments about typo's. Since spelling was not taught in wood and metal shop the above also applies to spelling. And some of the highly educated out there may notice that my grammar dangles like a participle, but I do know the difference between a verb and a balony sandwich and that's about all. However, as a good old southern gentleman I once knew was fond of saying, "just because I can't read or write doesn't mean I'm stupid". And finally,I would probably better define myself if I were to use a handle like "Joe 6 pak" or similar because I am just that,an average American Joe. But krkrjak was a childhood nickname so I'll just stick with it.

Greg, Mike, yes I think that we all should keep in mind that the bad guys we all rile about here raise vast sums of money to support their dirty work. I don't see how the good guys are going to make a whole lot of headway without some funding for which to float the boat.So yes Greg, I'll take you up on your challange and make a donation.I hope the rest of you will do the same.
