Few note how really racist and bigoted are Islamists and Muslims in general, terms they use against the West, knowing that these are "push button issues" that make most Westerners fall over themselves to demonstrate their tolerance.

The British government has responded by creating hate-speech laws that should be applied equally to all speakers. Muhammad means that Muslims should be exempt because, of course, they are Muslim, and that the hate-speech laws are example of the British government's attempt to make war on Muslims.

Sooner or later it will dawn on the Islamic world, moderate and extremist, that the numerical strength of the ummah will gain them advantage. Whether or not Sharia is imposed is irrelevant to that plan as they insinuate themselves into positions of power and put aside non-Muslims in traditional ways: racism, intolerance, nepotism, and so on, all in the name of the furtherance of Islam.

What never ceases to amaze me as I have read the various articles on Jihad Watch, and Dhimmi Watch for well over a year; one never has to read between the lines to Understand where these people are coming From. They are always and openly expressing their collective hate against all that are not muslims. The arrogance of their monotheistic religion and its totalitarian ,facist movement that is forever calling for jihads against infidels anyhere and everywhere on the face of this planet never stops. So I guess that slaugtering 3,000 innocent people wasn't a violation? I really hate when Muslims (and their leftist allies) say things like "after 9/11, Muslims are being profiled" (which they aren't, at least at airports, because the govt. doesn't want to offend anyone)or "After 9/11, people are suspicious of Muslims", "After 9/11, people don't like Islam." They act like disliking a particular religion or trying to prevent another attack with logical security measures are the same as hijacking a plane and crashing it into a building. Or they treat it like 9/11 is just some random date, and there's no reason to be suspicious of Muslims.

I agree in that when Qur'an and sunnah are read together, violent jihad is the necessary outcome.
nevertheless, there is a group of Muslims who reject the Sunnah and only accept the Qur'an. They translate Quranic verses using the direct meaning of the Arabic. For instance: "kafir/kafirun" is not: unbeliever-s, but: someone-s who resist.

The interesting thing is: there exists a peaceful islam on the basis of the Qur'an alone.
And of course, the radical sunnites and shi'ites loathe them because they are the only group that can easily discredit violent jihad from the Quranic sources itself.

I disagree there Megan.

On my last trip to the glorious United States of America (2003) the Muslim/Arab looking types were definatly being profiled through passport control.

We all had to be there 3hrs (2 before 9/11) before the flight departure for a thorough security check, but out of the queue guess who were the ones who got picked for the 'special wand-detector' treatment?

You guessed it.

And good on the U.S security too. After all if it were the Methodists flying planes in to your buildings I'd hope your security would pick them out of any flight I'm about to embark on.

All public adverts using men and women to sell products would be banned and Judges would roam the streets and markets accompanied by police to implement and maintain the Islamic public order.

Judicially: The Islamic judicial system would be implemented where adulterers would be stoned to death and thieves would have their hands cut. There would be no jury service or solicitors or barristers – rather Judges qualified in Islamic Law would preside over all cases and Judge according to God’s law. If there is any doubt on the guilt of the accused, even it is unreasonable or unlikely, any punishment would be left out. Maximum jail sentences will be one year and concentration would be on reform as opposed to locking the problem away. The State will ensure that only the most qualified and trustworthy Muslims will preside as Judges and justice will be available to all free of charge – as opposed to only those able to afford expensive barristers and solicitors.

Education: There would be compulsory Islamic education for all with Arabic being the national language so that the people can properly read and understand the Qur’an. False ideas such as evolution and the equality of religions and corrupt subjects such as music, drama and art would not be taught. Rather every subject will be linked to the relationship with God and new subjects such as Islamic concepts, Shari’ah law and Islamic Jurisprudence will be introduced to the curriculum. Other subjects such as science and mathematics will be cleansed of any concepts contradictory to divine revelation. History from an Islamic perspective will be studied. There will also be an emphasis upon boys to have military training so that they can participate in Jihad after they become 15 years old and an emphasis upon girls to learn those subjects such as cooking, managing the household and looking after and bringing up children to train them properly for their roles as mothers in the future.

May Allah (SWT) grant us the implementation of the Shari’ah and the removal of servitude to man in Britain sooner rather than later.

Bin Laden would love to see the provocation of the destruction of a (rebuildable) 'holy' site by the 'crusader' infidels. What I find amazing is how Muslims cannot see how their very philosophy CREATES the hellhole they cannot wait to escape. They must think that if they continue to do what it is they are doing then one day, miraculously, they will get it right. Then, they will overcome the non-Muslim west and replace them with even greater wonders than Western Culture has produced to date. I once heard the definition of insanity: "To keep doing the same thing with the same results and not learn from your mistakes and do it differently the next time." This EXEMPLIFIES Islam completely.

There is a reason why the Christian West has created a superior culture with science and technology. There is a reason why Islam is backward and illiterate. Unfortunately, Muslims don't ask themselves the crucial questions: "Why are we so far behind the West? What are we doing that keeps us behind? And, what are they doing that works?" If they began asking these questions honestly and sincerely, then maybe there would be hope for the progression of their society. They need to do this, instead of dying from envy of the other culture's success.

The obliteration of the spiritual center would be symbolic, I agree. Rebuilding would be a problem, however, as they would have to start from scratch, breaking the glass crust after the radiation levels were safe, finding a stone, etc.

As for further enraging them, or rallying them, it would not necessarily make them more effective. There are already millions if not billions of idle young ones eager to die for their ideology.

Loss of lives does not appear to concern the remaining ones. Loss of armaments, means of transportation--especially by air--the use of financial instruments, water resources, electricity, sewage disposal, and like infrastructure, would restrain them. Those who want to bring back the dark ages, should not mind living in the dark ages again.

It doesn't take too much imagination to figure out how to retain energy sources.

You mention Luke 14:26. The word that Jesus used in Aramaic was soneh which means to put aside.

What this passage means is that one must love God more than one's own family.

Jesus tells us at other times to honour our father and mother, to love our neighbour as ourselves, even to love our enemies. But says that we must love God first then people next, so that if it is a choice between pleasing God and pleasing people we must please God.

I just found out that the questionaire had been put on site in a couple of places.

Landover Deacons Join Hunt for Liberals Crossing Canadian Border
Freehold, Iowa - After being duly deputized by longtime silver-level tither, John Brown -- regional INS director sitting in Des Moines -- 75 Landover Baptist Church deacons took up posts along the U.S.-Canadian border less than three weeks ago. “We weren’t about to let none of them weak-kneed, Blue-State liberals leave this country, especially with tax time right around the corner,” reported Pastor Hawkins, as he raised the scope on his high-powered AR-15 assault rifle from his post behind a clearing in a North Dakota forest. “Last week, I unloaded a half pound of lead into the hineys of two long-haired varmints running through the woods. It was sheer bad luck they turned out to be ugly Canadian farm women. Oh well, no real loss to either country.” The pastors were reacting to reports of a mass exodus of anti-Bush (anti-American, anti-Christian) citizens across the Canadian border. With Canada’s immigration service overwhelmed by applications of Americans seeking asylum since November 2nd, many traitors have attempted to covertly slip into the country. “So long as I have one index finger that can squeeze a trigger, no Communist is gittin’ by me,” railed Pastor Coleman from his post on a hill in northern Minnesota.

Unofficial reports cite at least 75 prevented border crossings in the brief period the church has assisted the immigration agency. Reverend Shortland set up an informal roadblock on Interstate-75 in Michigan. “A few questions usually reveal whether these folks are legitimate tourists or Bush-dodgers. I intercepted one family last week in a BMW with their radio tuned to NPR. The parents were drinking from Starbuck’s cups and both teenagers in the back were reading books, neither of which had “Holy” or “Bible” imprinted anywhere on the cover, as far as I could tell.” The reverend called ahead to the border patrol checkpoint where agents conducted full vehicle and body cavity searches. After discovering a copy of GMAT test results, two museum ticket stubs and an 401k portfolio receipt, agents turned the vehicle around and the family was escorted to a holding cell near Detroit. Pastor Skipwell successfully uncovered what can only be described as a contemporary underground railroad just outside Detroit. “A bunch of coloreds were sending hordes of unemployed auto workers in tunnels to the demonic north. Not all church members support the deacons’ actions. “I think it is a colossal waste of time,” observed Brother Harry Hardwick, Chair of the Board of Deacons. “Tracking down liberals is like trapping rats in Harlem. For every one you catch, there are a thousand that squeak away. And why do we care if they leave? So what if many pay the taxes that pay for the programs benefiting the rest of us, like those Godly farm supports Iowa corn farmers get? We don’t need the money. President Bush has shown his commitment to maintaining all the pork programs while massively expanding military spending without raising a single dime in taxes. Since he’s already run a higher deficit than any President in history, what difference will a few trillion additional dollars make?

Despite the initial success of the program, the deacons may be returning home soon because the White House has condemned their actions as unauthorized. An administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity, claimed the President’s latest position is not his typical boilerplate appeal to whatever is the prevailing popular sentiment, but is instead the product of a genuine desire to allow as many Democratic voters as possible to leave the country before the mid-term Congressional elections

I'm a bit late with this quote from The Barbabas Fund, the organisation to protect persecuted Christians but I will post for the sake of completeness of the archive. It's from a petition handed into the UN last year. Possibly it was a thread on JW at the time.
