The neo cons and Islamists have more in common than not, they are both born out of hatred and fear of liberalism. Which is something they have in commmon with orthodox Jews and conservative Christians.

I am bemused that the battlefield today is between moral absolutists.

Straussians, the neo cons, believe that politicians should reassert absolute moral values that would unite society. A belief that is identical to the Muslims and "conservative" Jews and Christians. This would overcome social relevancy that liberalism creates.

For neo cons religion is an instrument to promote morality, religion becomes what Plato called a Noble Lie, it is a myth which is told to the majority of society by the philosophical elite to promote social order (shades of Hitler) .

In being a kind of secretive elitist approach, Straussians see themselves as a Leninist group who have this "correct vision" to change society while concealing it from those who don't understand.

Gee,what a small world,if you research the
sorted past of the Canadian Maher Arar you'll see that CAIR jumped to his defense while not having all the facts.
Tunisia plays a mojor role in the U.S. returning
Maher Arar to his homeland,the CBC.ca website
will give the details after a "Search" function
and some of the info is just as skewed as CAIR's
version of the event.
Arar was a 17 year old Muslim male from Syria that showed up in Canada and claimed refugee status as a fleeing victim of Government oppression,keep this in mind since he never gave up his Syrian Citizenship and has toured the Middle East since arriving in Canada. He married a Canadian(Muslim with Citizenship) to secure his stay and even had children that would be Canadian to assure a future protection from deportation,this is the real story of what happened in 2002.

Arar vacationed in the Middle east with his wife and kids,he returned to Canada by himself leaving the family behind that would return later on.
He claimed his Air-miles points plan forced him to take a connecting flight from Tunisia to JFK
and then to Canada,he was pulled aside in a foreign Nation(USA) that had the right to protect its citizens,his version of the Globe-trotting
reeked of a cover for a sleeper cell of Al-Qaeda and since Canadian passports are so currupted by fakes and false ID's ,the passport doesn't prove the exact identity of the holder.
Put all that together along with CAIR gloating over the 9/11 hijackers as being in the Country illegally from weak security and you have a judgement call that must default in the favour of safety. CAIR must take some of the blame for mocking the 9/11 attack that lead to Arar being detained and assessed as a risk,Arar was deported to JORDAN and Syria as CAIR avers,Jordanians took him in a SUV and he ended up in Syria,
Remember, he fled Syria and one reason was that he wanted to avoid military service and that was an offence under the State Laws,he claimed he was tortured on a daily basis for about a year.
But Syria allowed him to return to Canada even though he still had his Syrian citizenship and skipped the draft system that he could be legally jailed for.
Upon returning to Canada he got a Lawyer and
held a press conference where he read a lengthy
scripted recount of his "Horror" in Syria,with no sign of PTSD or physical injuries he proceeded to launch law suits,first against the USA for 35 Million,and when that fizzed out he turned on Canada with a 400 Million dollar suit for allowing the USA to deport him.

He's now the poster-person for racial profiling
against Muslims in the West,Racism is the new catch-word along with "Islamophobia" and "Muslim bashing".
Arar was a Syrian longer than he was a Canadian and his travel records and background set off the alarm bells that CAIR said we missed on Sept/10/01
that caused Islam to be defamed by the hijackers that weren't "True" Muslims.
Arar's children now have a hate for Canada and the
USA for what happened to their Daddy,don't be suprised if the Arar name appear in the media
about 15 years from now,this time it might be the kids creating the cycle of violence that Muslims love to use against Israel.

Pathetic sentence but it seems we've got to be grateful for even these small punishments. The Sydney one, Zeky Mallah, was just found not guilty of preparing a terrorist act. The jury was somehow convinced that he was just a lonely and misguided naughty boy who was merely throwing a hissy fit after the govt refused to issue him a passport. Sigh! When will we learn?

Hallow. Definition: holy, sacred. Gives one a very positive feeling. Same with the word moral. So you'd assume one would go about in a positive, nurturing way to demonstrate this hallowness and morality. Bomb attacks where you kill and injure people just doesn't seem to fit that picture for me. Yet in Muslim's minds it does. It's so obvious we're dealing with a totally different mindset, polar opposites, nothing in common.

My best friends family is muslim, and we both concluded that u cannot be a moderate muslim, because if you practice islam theres no 50% devotion, you are either a good muslim or an infidel, which his parents remind him everyday he is.

Its a sad state of affairs when a religion supercededes ones country and becomes a culture onto its own.

Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads. And they need to be treated with respect. We will be using more advanced and highly sophisticated, covert, cloak and dagger, technological countersurveillance methods in our mission to neutralize terrorist threats around the globe. We are raising the bar in Europe as well as Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas in the fight against terror.

You pessimists are trite and tiring. We will continue to prove you wrong, as terrorist cells will be broken off something proper, so to speak. In laymen's terms, we're going to kick some serious ass and put some combatants behind bars and/ or in the dirt permanently.

Furthermore, it's easy to scan these blogs and make a quick and accurate determination as to who the terrorist sympathizers are in that some of you through wishful-thinking make an attempt to propagandize on behalf of our enemies. The more you insist that terrorists acquire the upper-hand, the more we will use renditions, torture and counterassassination. So cry your eyes out you suckers as America and her allies beat down some chumps so that newer generations of freedom loving citizens around the world can live in a stable world. The terrorists and their adherents will lose.
