Info on Al-Qaeda and vampirean sentiments from jihadists at Gitmo. From the LA Times, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
According to the report, captives have described how Al Qaeda trained them to spread deadly poisons, and at other times armed them with grenades stuffed inside soda cans, bombs hidden in pagers and cellphones and wristwatches that could trigger remote control explosions on a 24-hour countdown.The report also showed that not all those being held were suspected of being front-line soldiers and that 1 in 10 of the captives were well-educated — often at U.S. colleges — in fields such as medicine and law.
What was that again about education solving this problem?
More than 20 detainees have been positively identified as Osama bin Laden's personal bodyguards and one as his close "spiritual advisor," according to the report. Another is listed as the "probable 20th 9/11 hijacker" — a Saudi man named Mohamed al-Kahtani who made it to Orlando, Fla., before being deported just a month before the Sept. 11 attacks.One detainee vowed to his captors that U.S. citizens in Saudi Arabia "will have their heads cut off." Another prisoner, this one with strong ties to Bin Laden, the Taliban and the Chechen mujahedin leadership, said of Americans everywhere: "Their day is coming…. One day I will enjoy sucking their blood."

And more than 10% of those housed at Guantanamo Bay, it turns out, have college degrees, many from U.S. schools, and were educated as physicians, pilots, engineers, translators and lawyers.One detainee, who "has threatened guards and admits enjoying terrorizing Americans," studied at Texas A&M University for 18 months and also took courses in English at the University of Texas in Austin, the summary said.
Another, identified as an Al Qaeda weapons supplier, studied at the Embry-Riddle flight school in Arizona and earned a graduate degree in avionics management.
Before Sept. 11, the FBI had picked up indications that Bin Laden was sending flight students to Arizona to learn how to commandeer U.S. aircraft.
The summary also weighed the risk of releasing detainees, pointing out that "we have been able to identify at least 10 by name" who were sent home before hearings even began last fall, only to rejoin the fight against the United States.
Still more detainees remain eager to break out of Guantanamo Bay, and have told guards "all Americans should die." One warned guards that one day he would "come to their homes and cut their throats like sheep." He said he would use the Internet to "search for their names and faces."

These captives are in GITMO because they pose a threat - note their education and familiarity with US - and should stay there indefinitely & consider themselves fortunate to still have their heads attached to their necks.
But what about those islamists that currently are being educated right here in the US plotting the next terror act?

Why oh why do we continue to educate these people? There should have been a stop to middle-eastern students on 9-11-2001. I am sure they have institutions of higher learning in islamic countries, let them go to school there. As a matter of fact (as I and others have said here) we should boycott all of the islamic world. Not one nail or screw or bolt. Not one computer chip, no metal, no medicine, no infidel food. Make them spend all their capital on the necessities of life.

In my country its been Aussie converts who have been arrested and convicted on terrorism.
These people are well educated by world standards. Not dumb extremists who are easily misled.
In fact they are the opposite. Well educated, they end up reading and studying Islamic texts for themselves. Next thing they are trying to blow up the Israeli Embassy here in Oz, or are caught fighting against the US forces in Afghanistan.
The thing I hate is when the media refers to these people as being "Australians". In my book they are not "Australians", but rather Muslims.

3rdtimelucky--You're right. Belonging to and participation in a national identity requires allegiance and loyalty. Those that become Muslim change their psyche in such a war that their allegiance and loyalty is thrown in with the Umma and their nationalities are now only addresses, places to sleep and hang one's hat.
We should no longer educate these people as its obvious we are giving them the tools to bring us down. Pollyannaish multiculturalists with their pie in the sky mentality have no idea what we're up against or are naive enough to believe that love and good treatment will make things all better...and the world will live happily ever after...

3rdtimelucky: In America, Yemeni immigrants went to the authorities to finger the Lackawanna Six, and a Jordanian immigrant who could not speak English refused to leave the police until an Arabic-interpreter could be found so he could explain that people he knew tried to recruit him to bomb the NY subway system. On the other hand, nobody could tell the Reid, Lindh, or Akbar might have been Islamofascist terrorists simply by looking at them. There are plenty of disgruntled non-Middle Easterners running around the Western World, and the embrace of Islamofascism by a lot of the immoderate Left and loony hyper-right (neo-Nazis, etc.) is one of the scariest things going on.

It's been a long enough squeeze-for-info at Gitmo.
Now Bush needs to sign the order for the firing squad to get rid of these s.o.b.'s before one or more gets loose.
Or are we just playing sunshine soldiers while the jihadis are deadly serious kamikaze maniacs?
The only further sound I want to hear from any of these crazy Gitmo bastards is the long last ululation of air escaping from their perforated corpses.

what ever happend to executing people for treason, it happend during world war 2 why not now. These people need to be made examples of, seriously if and when they get out they will be made clerics who will go and preach jihad, or mastermind some horrible terrorist attacks. Just dump them into the ocean with some Chum and let the sharks have there way with them.

Yes, why not give these vermin the list of approved courses they can study at US universities:
(1) Women's studies & gender equality
(2) music
(3) art
(4) cooking
(5) interior decoration
(6) romance languages
....
I think that seems like a safe enough list (though I
have no doubt they will somehow manage to find
access to what their vile minds really desire to
learn)

Your point is a good one, not all "Muslims" are nessisarily against us. Many have been forced into Islam (eg people in my own family), and as such, leave it (thank God). But a well known radio anouncer here, who often questions Muslims' beliefs and actions (I'm amazed he and his family is still alive), often says,
"not all Muslims are terrorists, but just about every terrorist is a Muslim".
We have lost this war on terror. We cannot win because our leaders refuse to acknowledge what we are up against. It is akin to fighting the Nazi's without recognizing that Nazism is evil.

But the way they have endless ongoing sectarian Muslim killfests, no big surprise.
Wahhabis killing Shiites. Sunnis killing Sufis. Orthodox killing 'moderates'. And everybody killing apostates. Ad nauseam.
One thing I wonder about Gitmo... do they do any psychological mindf*cks?
Like dressing up a 6 foot 4 inch tall Osama 'double' and ostentatiously dragging him down the hall in front of these 'bodyguards', in a semi-conscious and clearly 'beaten' to a pulp state-...(Hollywood make-up artists can do a good job here).
Then claiming a few days later that "Osama is talking."
To break the will of the Gitmo bodyguards. And play with their heads.
Or is this 'illegal'? Not 'playing by the rules'?

Yes if we banned Islamic people from our uni's - the cry's of racism would come (even though Islam is not a race - its a philosophy). Here in Australia about 12 people died from a 'Dr Death' (a non white foreign doctor). While he wasn't Islamic, nobody said anything about this foreign doctor for fear of being labeled a racist. In the mean time 12 people died.
It shows just how ridiculous this politically correct world has become.
So much for freedom of speech.

Taqiyya and kitman or ‘holy hypocrisy’ has been diffused throughout Arabic culture for over fourteen hundred years since it was developed by Shiites as a means of defence and concealment of beliefs against Sunni unbelievers. As the Prophet said: 'he who keeps secrets shall soon attain his objectives.’
The skilful use of taqiyya and kitman was often a matter of life and death against enemies; it is also a matter of life and death to many contemporary Islamic terrorists. As so often in the history of Islam, a theological doctrine became operational.
During the Spanish inquisition, Sunni Moriscos attended mass and returned home to wash their hands of the ‘holy water’. In operational terms, taqiyya and kitman allowed the ‘mujahadeen ’ to assume whatever identity was necessary to fulfill their mission; they had doctrinal and theological and later jurisprudential sanction to pretend to be Jews or Christians to gain access to Christian and Jewish targets: ‘the mujahadeen can take the shape of the enemy’.
Taqiyya is common to both Shiite and Sunni Muslim discourse and has significant implications for understanding Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist operations. The theory and practice of counter terrorism would be counter productive, indeed pointless, and even harmful, without reference to taqiyya and kitman and the crucial role of deception ranging from Islamic jurisprudence to Al Qaeda training manuals, which carry detailed instructions on the use of deception by terrorists in Western target countries.
According to Christian ethics lying is a sin; In Islamic jurisprudence and theology, the use of taqiyya against the unbelievers is regarded as a virtue and a religious duty

Slightly OT, but has anyone ever asked the question how the 19 hijackers of 9/11 were 'trained'? If they trained in Afghanistan, did they practice cutting heads of sheep or of infidel prisoners? They must have had some practice, otherwise OBL wouldn't have trusted them to get the job done.
