Pakistani jihadist preaches jihad against India to university students

Of course, he no doubt means an internal spiritual struggle against India. "Hizb commander preaches jihad against India to PU students," from ANI, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

A senior functionary of the Hizbul Mujahidden, a Pakistan-based terrorist organisation, preached the students of the Punjab University to carry out jihad in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the terrorist outfit would continue extending all possible help to the ongoing jihad in J and K.

According to the Daily Times, Javed Kasuri, a Hizb commander, gave a lecture over jihad in J and K to over a hundred PU students inside the Sultan Tipu Hostel (hostel number eight) on Friday night.

The lecture was arranged by the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT), the student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami, the paper said adding that the terrorist organisation is also closely associated with the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI).

Asserting that the HM's jihad in Kashmir "would continue", Kasuri invited the University students to consider its ideology. He criticised secular groups in Pakistan, such as the Aga Khan Education Board, reported the paper.

Which counts more -- this kind of event, or the smiles and India-Pakistan cricket games that are given all the attention? There is no "solution" to Muslim demands in Kashmir, and if they were to be met, the demands on India, and within India, by heartened Muslims would simply increase. There is no end to this.

Infidels keep hoping there is, and Indian Hindus and secularists think of the "good" Musliims such as the completely secular Muslims in the national government or even among some of the weapons scientists, and take these people to be representative Muslims.

In the United States, Indian-Americans who are of Hindu or Sikh ancestry or belief appear far less wary of Pakistanis or of Indians of Muslim background, than are their counterparts in the United Kingdom, and certainly are often ill-informed about the treatment of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan and of Hindus in Bangladesh. Why? Surely it is because Muslims, including the Pakistanis, in England, can allow themselves to be more aggressive (and make life difficult for Hindus in such places as Bradford and London) because of their greater numbers.

But even here, where a false melting-pot of curry and saris may cause Hindus not to sense the real aggression, or to overlook the history, of Muslims in the subcontinent, or where a shared interest in something, curry or cricket, may render seemingly irrelevant the grim history of Muslim rule in India, or of the essence of Islamic ideology, that will always make life difficult for Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, and always be a demographic threat within India itself for all non-Muslims, Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Christian. In the shared excitement over deal-making with Muslim colleagues in Silicon Valley or Route 128, Indian-Americans may forget what Islam is all about. They should not. Mughal India had many Aurangzebs, and only one Akbar, revered in Hindu India precisely for his syncretism, his failure to be a real Muslim.

Great post Hugh.

There is this whole 'Asian' identity thing with leftists within the Indian community and outside the Indian community in the UK telling them that they have to sublimate their Sikh or Hindu identity and show solidarity to Pakistanis. In the meantime, Pakistanis consistently harass and try to humilate Indians and if you question it you are called an extremist.

I think Indians have an innate knowledge of the truth of Islam though. It is hard wired into them. You cant bullshit an Indian (most of them, not the brainwashed lefty types) I mean if you tell a Sikh that Islam is a religion of peace, they will laugh in your face.

yes, jihad is just an inner struggle against evil and temptation, and if you disagree with that, we'll have to kill you!
