Again, if all good things come from Allah and all bad things come from the devil or man then why does the west have so many good things, material and non-material, and the lands of the muslims have things so bad.

And this isnt something new. The west has been far in advance of muslim lands for centuries now. Far advanced in wealth, medicin, science, art and exploration. When was the last time he checked his list of wealthy muslims. The list is long and they are buying and investing no differantly then Jews are. What verse? By stating facts when you can't back them up shows deception and ignorance. The Bible does state that there will be nothing added to the Bible, and states that many decievers will come on the scene and remove the true God from religion and create a new one. But these new religions will be false religions, and states that they will deceive generations.

If I had to choose a religion, looking at all of the ones on the scene it would be Christianity worshipping Jesus the one true God. He is the only one that lived like a God, and showed His power of life and death.

None of the other religions had their leaders show that they had power over anything but convincing many to follow them. That is a big gamble.

If I am wrong, then I lived a great life and your koran gives me the ability to pay and go where ever I want. And you will be able to have sex with 72 virgins, if I have enough money then I would join in.

If you are wrong, you will burn in hell with your prophet and have no chance of anything else.

You need not feel continued hatred against Islam. Islam is a religion of love and mercy and those who truly follow Islam embody those qualities. I invite you to learn Islam from Muslim sources and judge its merits accordingly.

Surely you can agree with me that it is unfair to learn about a subject from the enemies of that subject. For instance, you wouldn't want to learn about Blacks from the KKK. Please do study Islam from the Muslims, the better to form a fair and balanced picture.

This "hate' thing you talk about is silly. Bigotry based on race is indead hateful. Hate of a violent, bigoted, militaristic, misogynistic ideology... an ideology that is perhaps even more political than relgious.. how can the hatred of such a terrible ideology be a bad thing?

Was it wrong to hate the Nazi's or the Soviets or the Imperial Japanese or Pol Pot? Hating someone who prays different than you is a terrible wrong. Hating an evil ideology and those that seek to foist it upon others is not evil, its an obligation.

Usama Bin Laden and the hundreds of millions that support his world view seek to end theater, literature, free speach, they seek to cover you mother and daughter in a potato sack and if she should leave the house without it she deserves to be raped. They want all non-muslims to pay a special tax to the muslim government for no other reason than they are not muslims.

Ask non-muslims how often they are beaten, robbed, threatened, jailed, murdered or have their children snatched from them, have them forcably converted. Ask them what kind of justice they can expect to find in Shari'a courts.

Islam is a facistic ideology. It is really very little different than Nazism. Hitler sought the supremacy of the super race. Muslims like Usama seek the supremacy of the Islamic ideology. Facism difines the world into the superior and the inferior. To keep the superior from being contaminated by the inferior the facist seeks to conquer, enslave and ultimately destroy the inferior. For Hitler the inferior were all non-aryans. For Islamists it is all infidels. The fact that they both seek the death of all jews is sweet, sad irony and very telling in its own right.

Read the Koran, read the sunna, read and listen to modern Islamic commentators. They are all very straightforward. For them Islam must conquer and subjugate all to the horribly repressive shari'a law.

Again, Islam really isnt so much a faith as a militant political ideology cloaked in religon. It is a brand of facism. Like all the ugly, evil ideologies of the past it must be opposed by free people everywhere, at every time, in every way. It is wrong to hate a race or faith. It is wonderful to hate a creed that would enslave all mankind.

On December 1 of the same year, a one-month grace period had expired in which the Armed Islamic Group (GIA), rebels fighting the government, had warned all foreigners to leave the country. Two weeks later, twelve Croatians working at a hydraulic plant nine miles away from the monastery had had their throats cut, partly in retaliation for what the rebels regarded as ongoing mistreatment of Muslims in Bosnia at the time, partly because the Croatians were foreign Christians.

It's late and I'm heading for bed in a moment, but I'll share this real quick. Having read the comment "Muhammed is mentiones by name in the bible and so is Mecca." I felt I had to respond.

I've been reading the Bible every day since I learned how to read. Although I'm not a scholar, I think I know the text pretty well, and I can't remember a single time when Mecca or Muhammad is mentioned BY NAME. However, I had a quick look at sacred-texts.com, and came up with this reference:

About a third of the way down the page (using a Ctrl-F with the word "bible"), I came to this footnote:
No. 7. References in the Bible to "Mt. Paran" and "Paraclete"

21.21.; Numbers 12.16; Numbers 13.3.; Genesis 17.20 refers to the
twelve Imams and in the Revelation of St. John, Chap. 11.; where
it mentions two witnesses, it refers to Muhammad and &Ali.

I don't have the time to read even a fraction of the page, but I might take the time tomorrow to find more references.

Personally, I think think this is a load of h--y. I've seen many times when a spiritual document is re-written to fit someone's agenda, or a prophecy is twisted to mean what someone wants it to mean.

You are a Minuteman who is sounding a desperate alarm while the majority of people hearing this warning just don't know what it is they are facing or what their inaction and lack of concern will create for their children. In fact, in their fear, and self absorption, they might even know that you and the few other of your caliber are dead on right...but they don't care because we are so pleasantly distracted with the pleasures of Western privilege.

Our nemesis, or should I say our welcomed masses of the Islamic faith just don't see it that way. As you know, they are hungry and we are lazy and fattened-up on the successes of previous generations of Europeans who confronted and repelled Islam at the very borders of Europe and even expelled them from Spain, where they affected their design on non-Moslems for 800 years.

The motivating force behind this resistance was Christianity, something diminishing in Europe even as we speak.

So keep up the good work and I will pray that there will be a conversion in the Western world from mindless consumerism and nihilism, back to a spiritual grounding. In the end, I think that is the only thing that will save us from them.

I have read the Koran and much of the Sunna off of the net. Perhaps even more importantly I listen to what is being said and writen in the muslim world today.

What I read and hear scares the living daylights out of me. What I wrote above was not written on the spur of the moment. Im not some hothead acting on a whim. It took me nearly three years after 9-11 to come to these conclusions. After those attacks I decided to investigate this religon. I wanted to know for myself what it was that motivated these men to do the evil they did.

I was loath to assign their motivation to their faith. You see, in America one of the greatest taboos is to attack anothers religon. One of the founding principles of America is the First Amendment a key part of which is freedom of religon. To denounce someones faith as evil and dangerous is very hard in America because it comes very close to running counter to the spirit of the First Amendment. It is why President Bush is always so careful to say that the war on terror is NOT a war on Islam even when terrorists and their supporters are very quick to say that Islam is at war with the west.

Despite how much I didnt not want to believe that religon was what motivated the 9-11 attacks by early 2004 I could no longer deny it. I did not come to this conclusion by just listening to Islams detractors. I did as you have suggested above. I read Koranic verse, I read Hadith, I read historical accounts as writen by muslims. I read and followed Arab and muslim modern media.

It scared the daylights out of me.

Usama isnt fringe. He is mainstream. Many MANY more muslims support him and his views than oppose him. I find little if any reason to rebuke him and his actions based on Islamic texts. He is carrying out the mandate of Jihad against the West.

The specific reasons he gives for his actions are in truth irrelivent. If no western soldier had ever set foot in Saudi Arabia, if Isreal had never been created, if the Ottoman Caliphate had never fell, Usama or someone like him would still be waging a jihad against the west and all of the classically liberal western traditions that I hold dear. If you recall one of the last times he was seen in a video one of his complaints was the loss of Spain...500 years ago!

The application of Shari'a through jihad over an ever growing region of the Earth is an integral part of the faiths core texts. Conquest, looting, slavery and the exploitation of dhimmi's is an absolute truth of Islams history. It is also true that modern Islamic schoolars embrace this history as something wonderful, something to be returned to.

Islams prophet is sighted as the perfect example of how a person should live but when I read of his life as writen by muslims I am repulsed.
He does not just wage war, he steals, rapes, mutilates, enslaves, murders and has murder commited in his name (often just because the person mocks him or opposes his teachings), takes other mens wives and even marries and sleeps with a girl under 10. I find almost nothing good in the character and doings of Islams prophet.

While I have know many good muslims, I find little good in Islam.

Since the Bible is being mis-quoted so many times here, perhaps we can use a direct quote:

To Genesis chapter 16:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when quoting someone else (or a written document), it should be accurate, not rearranged to serve one's own purpose.

Also, I have never heard of Mecca or Muhammed being mentioned by name in the Bible. As the entire Bible is available online and one can search for keywords, I checked, even using different possible spellings...I found no such reference. Please enlighten me. However, even if it were mentioned in the Bible, how is that special? Many things are mentioned in the Bible...not all of them in a favorable light.

In all of this, let us not forget the main message of the Bible...love. A loving person doesn't call for the killing of people who disagree with him.

I will say to the angry muslim...Are your beliefs and values so shaky that they can't stand a differing view or a good debate?
The "convert to Islam or die" message is not really a good way to win people's hearts or to show them a better way to live.

Also to the angry muslim, I read the Bible and I read this site, so please don't lump everyone into one group of people who are on this site but don't read the Bible...you can't know that. I read this site because your people have openly declared war against me (your jihad) for no other reason than my beliefs. Shukri, thanks for the link. I followed it, but remain thoroughly unconvinced, and you may figure out why later on. Ahmad Deedat's ventures into biblical text criticism (and he is about the best of the Muslim apologists) end in a conjectural re-writing of parakletos, which means comforter, not praised one. As for the absence of "holy" before pnevma in some manuscripts, most of the time the NT refers to "spirit" it is the Holy Spirit of God, anyway.

As for the so-called Gospel of Barnabas, it was all the fingerprints of a medieval Italian forgery--probably by a secret convert to Islam who never set foot in 'Eretz Yisroel in his life.

Actually, after reading Deedat, I'm more convinced than ever that there might just have been something to the medieval legand that Muhammad but birdseed in his ear and had a white dove on his shoulder pecking at it, to prove he was the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is also God, for in Acts, one who lied to the Holy Spirit lied not to men, but to God (Acts 5:4). Ths, the comforter is not another man, but God's own presence with us.

But, what truly intrigues me is that Islam speaks of Jesus as Isa al-Masih, clearly an echo of the Hebrew Ha-M'shiach--or "Anointed". This is a term referring to prophets (I Kings 19:16), priests (kohanim; Exodus 28:41) and kings (I Samuel 16:1); THE Messiah (angliciziation of M'shiach) is one combining in his one person all three offices. In the Scriptures, Messiah is an eschatological figure ushering in the kingdom of God (Daniel 7, for example), and is truly the one whom God exalts above all others. So, even Islam, in retaining the title al-Masih for Jesus recognizes that he remains greater than Muhammad.

Further, Jesus is God with us (Emmanu-el, Isaiah 7:14). Such indeed was Jesus, for "the Word [who is God] became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1;14). Jesus also said of himself, "Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58)--echoing God's Almighty's self deisgnation YHWH (Ex. 3:14). For to God, all things are eternally present.

Shukri, if God has therefore shared Himself with us, paying the penalty for our sins with his own body on the wood (I Peter 2:24-25; 3:18--cf. Isaiah 53:5), and stays with us as the Spirit, how can we who know the Gospel submit ourselves to a man whose own followers admit that he remains dust buried in Medina, who will rise with the rest of us to face that judgment which you and I both believe will come?

The Gospel is not a new set of rules. It is the message of Jesus Christ come, crucified for our sins, and risen in triumph over death (I Corinthians 15). And, if any brings another Gospel, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:9).

I note that you, IA, and others tell us that it is Jesus who will come to judge the world. Again, is not Jesus, even by Islam's own admission, greater than Muhammad?

"And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely" (Revelation 22:17). That means you, Shukri, and IA, and Tameem [who still hasn't shown me how Paul taught a "blood cult"], too.

BTW, since this started with a discussion of the Holy Spirit, Jesus said earlier of the same Holy Spirit that he is the living water that Christ gives. This is a common theme in the Gospel of John (especially ch. 4). Yet, is it not true that all Muhammad can offer me is a set of rules, an earthly place to which my prayers must be focused, and a pile of dust awaiting the resurrection and judgment, just as I will also be one of these days?

There are different versions of the Bible. King James, NIV, Living Bible, etc. King James is the most reliable but for modern readers, some of the terms in King James are difficult to understand. In one of my Bibles, "Wild Ass of a Man" is indeed written. Welcome to the site...

Catherine, I believe that mo is a descendent of ishmael... ishmael is the illegitimate son of Abraham, who was banished to the desert with his mother, Hagaar, and who was given the title, "wild ass of a man". So yes, if we're talking about a "wild ass of a man" I can easily see a relation to mo.

Although there have been many atrocities committed by many religions in the name of God, Jesus taught us to "love your enemies" and to "resist not evil" and to "turn the other cheek." Muhammed teaches that when conquering another country, to first give the people a chance to convert to Islam, if they don't, then kill them. He gives many reasons why a person should be killed, mostly for not respecting in Islam. Very small offences can make you an enemy of the religion.

So, the more closely a person follows Christ's teachings, the more peaceful and loving he should become, and the more closely someone follows Muhammed's teachings, the more violent and deadly he should become.

Here, I say this would put an end to the Islam vs. Judo/Christian pissing contest once and for all.

Lets face it, the Middle-East problem is rooted in religion and
culture.
Let's have a religion/culture showdown Old Testament style (1 Kings
18:20-40), since that is something common among them. Sorta.

Why not give Jerry Falwell or Benny Hinn (well
any Protestant would do), the Pope, a Rabbi, and a Mullah a brisket and
a bar-b-que pit each. Let them do their thing and whoever gets their
god
to cook their brisket for them wins! No human intervention allowed of
course. In the unlikely event that fire rains down on more than one
bar-b-que pit, audience applause will be gauged to determine the
winner.
So go for some flair! If for whatever reason, fire does not fall and
consume or otherwise cook anyone's brisket, everyone has to agree to
say
'sorry'
and leave each other alone. To prevent everyone from going home hungry,
science and reason would be used to locate a lighter. Whoever wins gets
the television rights and free bar-b-que sauce for life!

Wouldn't that settle it once and for all? I mean ... it's like Biblical
and all that. Kinda. It would answer the whole question of who is
'right' in a bloodless manner. Well, except for the contributor of the
brisket. If that's a problem a nice eggplant casserole could be
substituted for the beef which I'm sure the cow would appreciate.

unless we ban islam, unless we indignantly counter the qur'an and it's tenets, we will be operating on weak precepts which will allow islam to continue to overthrow freedom. the violent elements of islam are cloaked within the complicit trojan horse of "peaceful" islam. therefore, islam as a whole must be banned. if islam doesn't want to ban itself, then it should be fought as an enemy. there is a strategy of islam to advance itself by peaceful islam running interference for radical islam while stubbornly denying any knowlege of it. let's get real. if muslims everywhere would simply recant of their belief in islam, then there would be peace. moderate islam needs to admit that it is protecting radical islam and immediately close all mosques on it's territories. only by such gestures can we in the west feel that we are getting somewhere in the war on terror. to be reasonable, muslims worldwide should admit their error, renounce islam and join another religion or become athiest. in other words, unless we somehow stop islam cold by banning islam worldwide, we will not be able to defend ourselves against the uncompromising, aggressive encroachment of islam. let us comprehend that the tenets of islam and shari'a are designed to automatically deactivate and neuter the principles of freedom. to accept islam is to depart from freedom. the actions are synonymous. freedom and islam cannot coexist. this means that any compromise with islam equates to a comporable surrender of a freedom.
satan is the father of lies so i am not surprised that muslims call christians little satans. the antichrist, possibly a muslim, will, when he comes to power and rules the world for seven years, utter similar boastful blasphemies against the living god. meanwhile, the black hole of islam can be expected to pompously bully it's way into world prominence. those who resist islam doubtless are being accused of hate crimes. after satan falls from heaven, he will straightaway go singularly after the jews and the christians, just as he is doing through islam today. how brilliantly tactful of islam to conquer any criticism of islam by shamelessly monopolizing the legal system. after all, satan is the master accuser before the throne of god like he did to the biblical character job. jesus said some would kill jesus' followers while claiming such murder to be doing "god" a service. it is just amazing what unreasonable hate and condemnation that fully brainwashed muslims are capable of against non-muslims. in following prideful islam, muslims truly know not what they do. it is observable that people tend to treat others in the same way they believe god is treating them. so in hateful, murderous muslim behavior we see the reflection of the muslim god, satan, who comes only to steal, kill, destroy, lie and deceive. satan is the father of lies and muslims have the wrong god. on the contrary, if i believe in the unconditional love and acceptance of god via jesus christ, then i am likely to treat others in the same way. despite such prejudice and railings coming from muslims, there is no condemnation from god awaiting those who are in christ jesus. do not fear the muslims who can kill the body but after that can do nothing. fear instead he (god) who can cast both body and soul into hell. to be sure, anyone not in jesus christ remains spiritually dead and in need of life. everyone please receive jesus christ's life living in you today by simple faith (belief). listen to the twice daily internet broadcast at realanswers.net. every human, including the puffed up muslim, is born dead spiritually and has no righteousness whatsoever before god unless he has received jesus christ. even the most devout muslim has not one shred of righteousness before god without jesus christ, but even terrorists can be immediately forgiven for their unbelief in christ and be born again. there is no room for haughty pride because no man can be justified before god by obedience to the old covenant law, including muslims. muslims, stop worshipping a book or a dead man mohammed and place your faith in the correct place, jesus christ, in whom your faith can yield eternal dividends. one must be born again of the spirit, and the object of one's faith means everything. the object should not be an enshrined paper book made from wood, which is similar to idolotry, but rather the object of faith should be the living christ who rose from the dead and will do the same for those who place their trust in him. the strict, greedy and inconsiderate triumphalism of islam is not compatible with religious plurality. upon those grounds of religious freedom alone, islam should be banned. is oppressive china the only country to have enough sense to ban islam?

islam is the oppressor and needs to change or disappear, and i am sorry that it has to be this way. the children of hagar (representing the old covenant law) will always persecute the children of the promise of grace and truth through jesus christ.
muslims, please be transformed and join the children of eternal promise through faith in jesus christ.
any religion like islam that prevents, upon penalty of death, the voluntary conversion of it's citizens to another religion, should be banned outright.

Text of My Resolution Regarding Relgious Intolerance

I received a large number of comments, and quite a spirited debate, concerning my resolution opposing religious intolerance, including desecration of the Quran. I appreciate all of the comments, both those supporting and opposing my actions. I continue to believe that given recent events, it is worthwhile for the Congress to actually express its support for the freedom of religion. The resolution was drafted to oppose all religious intolerance. To the extent it mentions the Quran and Islam specifically, that is obviously to respond to those who believe our nation would tolerate disrespect of that religion or its holy book. Clearly we should not, at least in my opinion.

Anyway, below in the extended entry is the full text of H. Res. 288. I hope you agree that read in its totality, it is a fair and appropriate resolution.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives condemning bigotry and religious intolerance, and recognizing that holy books of every religion should be treated with dignity and respect.

Whereas believers of all religions, including the Abrahamic faiths of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, should be treated with respect and dignity;

Whereas the word Islam comes from the Arabic root word meaning “peace” and “submission”;

Whereas there are an estimated 7,000,000 Muslims in America, from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds, forming an integral part of the social fabric of America;

Whereas the Quran is the holy book for Muslims who recite passages from it in prayer and learn valuable lessons about peace, humanity and spirituality;
Whereas it should never be official policy of the United States Government to disparage the Quran, Islam, or any religion in any way, shape, or form;

Whereas mistreatment of prisoners and disrespect toward the holy book of any religion is unacceptable and against civilized humanity;

Whereas the infringement of an individual’s right to freedom of religion violates the Constitution and laws of the United States: Now, therefore, be it

1 Resolved, That the House of Representatives–

(1) condemns bigotry, acts of violence, and intolerance against any religious group, including our friends, neighbors, and citizens of the Islamic faith;

(2) declares that the civil rights and civil liberties of all individuals, including those of the Islamic faith, should be protected;

(3) recognizes that the Quran, the holy book of Islam, as any other holy book of any religion, should be treated with dignity and respect; and

(4) calls upon local, State, and Federal authorities to work to prevent bias-motivated crimes and acts against all individuals, including those of the Islamic faith.

Robert screw the Accounting Firms, save yourself a lot of money an buy QuickBooks and Excel.

Easy to use, biggest problem is setting up the accounts, the credits and debits, and you can hire a cheap bookkeer for that.

After I retired from the Military I took a job as a Law Firm Administrator, and used an accounting program and Lotus 1,2,3 which were at the time in DOS, no graphic interface,

It took me less than 40 hours a month, to handle the books, which included writing checks, printing reports, reconciling the bank accounts, which included the Ultra Sensitive (had to balance to the penny) Trust Account and their sub accounts.
