News on the Nashville Jihadi wannabee, Ahmed Hassan Al-Uqaily. "'Jihad' suspect pleads guilty in weapons sting," from the City Paper:
Ahmed Hassan Al-Uqaily, an Iraqi native who allegedly bought illegal weapons and threatened to "blow something up," pleaded guilty in federal court here Tuesday to both counts of an indictment charging him with illegal possession of weapons. His recommended sentence under the plea agreement submitted to Chief U.S. District Judge Robert L. Echols is 57 months - less than five years - although the mandatory sentence for his felony charges could have been up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
The first count charged Al-Uqaily with illegal possession of machine guns and the second count charged him with possession of unregistered firearms; namely the machine guns and a destructive device which were components to make a hand grenade. He also evidenced the desire to obtain some missile-type weapons including a missile he indicated would be sufficient to take out a tank, according to U.S. Attorney Jim Vines.
The 34-year-old Al-Uqaily allegedly spoke to a friend last August of "going jihad" and expressed animosity towards the Jewish community...
"Following his service of that sentence he has agreed to waive any arguments in a matter or case against him to have him deported out of the United States," Vines said.
As part of the agreement, the defendant will forfeit approximately $38,000 in his bank account to the U.S. government as part of a civil complaint against him and keep the remaining $5,000 once he is deported.
Now wait a minute. This guy worked at a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop. How did he wind up with a bank account with $43,000 in it?

A major policy announcement needs to be made
Something along the line that :” The administration upon further study has concluded Islam is a totalitarian political movement masquerading as a religion and its practice has been deemed sedition .As of today all mosques in the united states are closed .All person who wish assistance in relocating out side the united states will be arrested shortly.
Those who do not wish to leave will be shot.

Wot? An exception to an obvious case of racial profiling?
As for the fat bank account, I wonder what network of rats he's protecting by pleading guilty and agreeing to the terms.

Notice the Tennessee Independent Media Center's repeated use of the phrase 'corporate media' to describe standard press. The TIMC is part of a 'Firebrand Community Center' (read: waaay left) organization which refers to Mr. al Uquaily as a 'peace activist'.
Note, too, that many within the Tenessee 'anti-war' and 'peace' communities were in various states of shock, disbelief, and dismay at his October arrest.
Assuming that Mr. al Uquaily amassed his wealth through the timely purchase and eventual sale of Krispy Kreme stock, the TIMC weenies should at least distance themselves from him, as he's obviously a capitalist pig merely masquerading as a 'peace activist'.

How did he get all that money working for Krispy Cream? That's easy, they paid him $100.00 an hour. Krispy Cream is a great employer, only hires the best...

Some firepower for a guy!
They ought to tack Jane's Catalog to the Qur'an. Then every muslim can have his person machine gun, grenade, RPG, missile(!).
"Son! Your missile is blocking the bathroom door! Take it away and use it already!"

I wonder if they imprison these convicted jihadists with the general population. That seems like that would be a less than brilliant idea to me. Putting them in the slammer for five years would be nothing more than a chance to 'network' and scheme with the already large "nation of islam" population behind bars. What is more likely, that they will be reformed, or that they will 'reform' the minds of others and conspire to carry out even more insideous attacks once released. I think a little beach front vacation in Cuba would be more in line for this guy.

A better idea still: have him shot.
(Gasp!)
Now, before those of the intellectually challenged category among us begin keening their "horrible-fascist-death-of-Western-civilization" death-cry: the man really is an enemy combatant. He don't like us. He don't like Jews. He wants to kill them - and us.
Ah well. Perhaps it's excessive after all. At the least, we ought to follow Kuffir's suggestion of "Cubing" the git.

Knight Ridder caught practicing Joseph Goebbels famous dictum. "Repeat a lie often enough and the people will believe it!"
These are the sorts of articles that do tremendous damage to the cause. We cannot fight the war with this sort of nonsense being passed off as serious thought. There is not a single FACT in this entire article; instead, we have opinions of the famous un-named sources. My feelings on un-named sources in these grave days are this, anything to do with the war is important enough to make a stand. Any idea worth repeating is worth backing with your honor and name. Why is it that we accept such grave pronouncements in days of such import from un-named sources? Would anyone accept information in a matter of life or death from an un-named caller? Would you stake your children's life on it? Absurd to imagine and yet we do it every day with sources that affect how we defend ourselves. Un-named sources are more in line with budget battles and scandals, not a war as desperate as what we are fighting, where a mistake can cost thousands of lives.

Saddam and Terrorism
Let me make the case that the government of Iraq has been involved in state-sponsored terrorism, as it is defined by the U.S. government, for over a decade. As director of counterterrorism for the National Security Council in the Clinton administration, you know that Secretary of State Albright had good reason for including Iraq among the seven countries designated as state sponsors of international terrorism in 2000.
NOW HERE IS THE KICKER!!!
It is in this context that the Czech intelligence report of a meeting between an Iraq embassy official and an al-Qaida trained hijacker must be viewed. This report asserts that Mohamed Atta, who had previously visited Prague in June 2000, met with Iraq consul Ahmad Khalil Ibrahim Samir al-Ani at an undisclosed location in Prague in April 2001. Subsequently, on April 22, Hynek Kmonicek, who was then deputy foreign minister of the Czech Republic, ordered al-Ani expelled from Prague. According to Kmonicek, who is now the ambassador to the United Nations in New York, "the Czech government collected detailed evidence of the al-Ani/Atta meeting." The other Czech officials directly involved in this unprecedented expulsion, namely Czech Prime Minister Milos Zeman, Foreign Minister Jan Kavan, Interior Minister Stanislav Gross, and intelligence chief Jiri Ruzek, have all confirmed receiving the report of this meeting.
SO WHEN THE MSM SAYS WE HAD NO EVEDENCE THEY [MSM] ARE CALLING THE [ According to Kmonicek, who is now the ambassador to the United Nations in New York, "the Czech government collected detailed evidence of the al-Ani/Atta meeting." The other Czech officials directly involved in this unprecedented expulsion, namely Czech Prime Minister Milos Zeman, Foreign Minister Jan Kavan, Interior Minister Stanislav Gross, and intelligence chief Jiri Ruzek, have all confirmed receiving the report of this meeting.] ALL NAMED PEOPLE LIERS?? NOW WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS CALL PEOPLE WHO GO ON RECORD LIERS BUT PEOPLE WHO HIDE IN THE SHADOWS [DARK] TRUTH TELLERS?? I PICK THE PEOPLE OF THE LIGHT!!!
WHEN GOOD MEN DO NOTHING EVIL WILL PREVAIL!!!!!
IT IS NOT THE GOOD MEN WHO HIDE IN THE SHADOWS??? THE UNNAMED SORCES?? WHO ARE THEY LIKE THE LATEST WHO HAD TO BE PARDENED FOR ORDERING BREAK INS[#2 @ THE fbi]?? BUT IN DEATH COMES TO THE LIGHT AND SAYS I’M A HERO?? THE HERO MUST NOW ANSWER WHO ORDER THE BREAKIN ?? WHO HE BLAMED?? BUT IS HE REALLY A HERO WHO HIDES IN THE SHADOW? WELL IN THE DARK I USE A LIGHT TO SEE!!
http://www.edwardjayepstein.com/2002question/saddams_acts.htm
3) Saddam gave sanctuary to Abdul Rahman Yasin, the only indicted conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center to get away. After helping to mix the explosives, Yasin fled to Baghdad. He remains at large presumably in Iraq.
GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!!
http://www.edwardjayepstein.com/2003question/nyt_czech.htm
But that qualification hardly gives the New York Times license to falsely report as a fact that "The Czech government later said the information was false."
WONDER IF THAT WAS A JASON BLAIR STORY??
http://www.edwardjayepstein.com/2002question/prague_illusion.htm
My question: Is there evidence that was found in Prague connecting Iraq to terrorist activities directed against the US?
Answer:
Yes. First, in 1998, Czech and British intelligence received detailed information from a high-ranking Iraqi official in Prague that the government of Iraq had provided $150,000 to finance the recruitment of terrorists to detonate a truck bomb in front of the headquarters of Radio Free Europe. The Iraqi official, Jabir Salim, who was the Iraqi consul in Prague, defected to England in December 1998. Since Radio Free Europe occupied the former Czech parliament building in the center of Prague, where a truck-bomb attack could cause casualties on the order of the Oklahoma City bombing, the Clinton Administration asked the Czechs to greatly increase security around the building.
Consequently, when al-Ani replaced Salim at the Iraq Embassy, the Czech intelligence service, BIS, kept close tabs on his activities in Prague to determine if he was continuing Salim's mission of recruiting terrorists. Then, in April 2001, al-Ani was seen meeting with a foreign national who had been a resident of Hamburg. The matter was brought to the attention of Hynek Kmonicek, the deputy foreign minister. Since, as Kmonicek put it,"It is not a common thing for an Iraqi diplomat to meet a student from a neighboring country," he ordered al-Ani's expulsion. Al-Ani was the only Iraqi diplomat ever expelled from the Czech Republic.
Kmonicek, who had gone on to become the Czech Ambassador to the UN, confirmed that the "student" from Hamburg whom al-Ani was meeting in April 2001 was Mohamed Atta. On October 26th, 2002, in response to the NY Times story, he told The Prague Post not only that "the meeting took place," but that "the Czech government collected detailed evidence of the al-Ani/Atta meeting."
NOW WHO DO YOU TRUST UNNAMED SORCES WHO HIDE IN THE SHADOWS OR THOSE WHO DON’T HIDE??
LIKE WHAT HE SAID TO POWELL WELL I DON’T THINK THEY WERE TALKING BASEBALL??
THEN POWELL CAME HOME AND SAID IT NEVER HAPPANED ? NOW WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?? COULD IT BE HE WANTED TO KEEP HIS HEAD IN THE SAND??

"We certainly have found nothing to substantiate that," said a senior U.S. official.
Instead, he said, U.S. intelligence analysts believe that Iraqi counterterrorism units practiced anti-hijacking techniques on an aircraft fuselage at the site.
Marines capture suspected terrorist training camp By RAVI NESSMAN, Associated Press
SALMAN PAK, Iraq (AP) - The rusted shell of an old passenger jet sat out in a field, its tail broken off. Good for hijacking practice, U.S. Marines speculated Sunday as they examined an Iraqi training base about 20 miles south of Baghdad. The Americans also found a full obstacle course - with wooden walls and other barriers to be climbed over or crawled under - as well as a three-story concrete tower draped with ropes, apparently for rappelling. President Saddam Hussein's regime has said the camp, part of a larger military reservation in a bend of the Tigris River, was used for anti-terrorism training for Iraqi Special Forces. But U.S. officials and others have long suspected the camp trained terrorists.
The absurd claim swallowed hook line and sinker by the CIA that the Airliner was used to train Saddam's anti terror squads is just too much to bear. Anyone in the CIA who believes that tripe should not only be fired but shot. What is going to be next, that those mobile bio warfare labs really only supplied Hydrogen to balloons...oh wait they are trying that nonsense.

The following is a copy of an e-mail message sent to David Hackworth on 20 Oct. 2004:
Colonel Hackworth:
It has been determined that most of the 32 terrorists that took over 1,000 people hostage in Beslan, Russia were very heavy users of heroin and morphine, so much so that the amount of heroin and morphine that many of those terrorists were consuming was beyond the normal lethal dose for individuals. This allowed those terrorists to fight even when they had been heavily wounded and would otherwise have been in great pain.
But my belief is that the aforementioned terrorists were also taking meth-amphetamines, with this allowing them to stay a high level of alertness for long periods of time, namely the time interval over which the hostage crisis took place.
NOW LET’S LOOK AT 3 DEAD 2 CHILDREN MISSING AND WE KNOW THEY DEALT DRUGS??? MAINLY meth-amphetamines?????

Beslan Hostage-Taker Blames Russian Forces for School Bloodbath
Created: 01.06.2005 12:09 MSK (GMT +3), Updated: 12:09 MSK,
The explosions that sparked the bloody end to the September 2004 school hostage-taking in Beslan were set off when sharpshooters killed two militants holding triggers to homemade bombs, Nur-Pashi Kulayev, the only surviving Beslan hostage-taker, tried for the massacre on Tuesday, testified.
The Itar-Tass news agency quoted Nur-Pashi Kulayev as saying that the leader of the 32 heavily armed militants — whom he called Polkovnik (Colonel) — entered the packed gymnasium where more than 1,100 hostages were held after the bombs detonated and smashed his cell phone.
According to Kulayev, Polkovnik said: “They won’t take pity on anyone; we fight to the last cartridge”.

The residents of Europe see the European constitution as a formalization of what in political circles is called “euro-bureaucracy”. One can’t say that the average EU citizen is a stranger to socialist ideas, and the vote in France demonstrated this. But it is not prepared to hand over the realization of these ideas to be bought out by an international team of professional “servants of the people.” The idea of building one’s life through democratic mechanisms in as narrow a circle — of a national state, for example, or better yet, in a local community — as possible has once again won support. Now, at least, ignoring this in the EU has become impossible, despite endless rhetoric about a “movement towards new progress and unity.”
For those who believe that the defeat of the Euro-optimists in France means support for the idea “France for the French,” I would like to note that both France and Holland, which, it seems, will also reject Europe’s main legal document, are considered to be leaders in their import of a work force from third world countries. It’s just that the French and the Dutch believe that they themselves should regulate the number of Africans, Arabs, Romanians, Ukrainians, and Russians on their streets, rather than supporters of a quickly-created United States of Europe in Brussels.
Especially when Brussels does not conceal the fact that its aim is the creation of a “European power center” as a counterbalance to the United States, China, the Arab countries, and Russia as well. Where geopolitical interests are concerned, the average citizen is supposed to stop the hysterics….

ah Nashville Tennessee,
where music is in the land, the water, the air,
where if you drink from the waters of the serpent river,
you have to return there, according to the Cherokee,
it’s the land of the Tanasi, the land of the brave and free.
Nashville Tennessee where the muslim brother,
with all the right medical degrees,
and his sidekick, the yemini imam,
(with impecable credentials
from michigan and saudi arabia,
who set up a children’s school
at the al farooq mosque in Brooklyn, NY,
al qaeda central run by osama bin laden,
this imam now sets up a school
for the islamic center in Nashville,
the buckle on the Bible belt,
a deep and strong bastion of Xianity. . .
to take over here would be a feather
in their caps, would it not?
What is being taught in this school?
Is it the opposite of the golden rule?
Is it that lying, cheating, rape and murder
of the Other is a sacred act? Is this a fact,
fashioned from their foundational trilogy?
This mohammedan young buck,
in dire need of a woman’s touch,
not too bright but devoted and can fight,
was caught in the turning wheel of jihad
He is only a pawn in their game,
but for now has his moment of fame
and soon, there will be another like him.
This seige on Nashville has just begun -
and, unlike the damn yankees,
these men have no respect for life,
will murder if they don't get their way.
and they will win if we see death
as some sort of sin, or ultimate horror,
birth, death,
two different sides
of the same coin,
the cycle of life
on this earth.

How do you think they get the holes in those K.K. donuts.
It's called "fully automatic" people!
This 'peace activist' is clearly being underground railroaded by an out of control government with racial profiling in its DNA! (Or something like that.)
But I have to agree with Geoff (before he went wobbly for Gitmo):
-take his machine gun, lubricate it, load it, stand him up against the Krispy Kreme's back wall, and see if it works.
(If not, try the rocket launcher.)

"Wobbly for Gitmo", is it?
Sir, you malign me.
I didn't say HOW he ought to be sent to Gitmo...I was considering firing him from a cannon to get there. Cheaper, faster AND safer than air travel, these days. Or perhaps a giant slingshot. Presumably such could be made from one of Britney Spears' bras (post-operative, that is), which could also be used to shame the twit on the way.
"Wobbly"? I would challenge you in a contest of humourous postings, were it not so beneath me. Harrumph.
You will surely have a double punishment...possibly you will be stranded on a desert island with a nincompoop sailor, but only allah ta'ala can say. Whatever you do, keep an eye on the volcano...goes off like Ol' Faithful, three times a season.

Geoff-
I hate to be the one to break it to you:
There is NO cream IN a Krispy Kreme donut! It's shameless false advertizing! I too once labored under that delusion before one of these fried dough shoppes arrived in my area -several years back.
These sugary doo-dads are merely smaller-than-average glazed donuts going under a fancy schmancy name.
It figures a jihadist would work in a place BUILT on such a blatant deception!
And I meant 'wobbly" in the Thatcherian sense of "Don't go..."
Personally I think the detention center at Gitmo should be closed.
After all of the funerals for the current freeloaders, of course.
Then turn it into a theme park based on Gilligan's Island.

Oh come on, there have to be SOME Krispy Kremes with actual cream in there. I'm not much of a connaisseur of the line (I hear they're a shelter for jihadists; see above) but surely there are some such.
Then again, is itt not written:
Q 7:342 O! Allah! There will be those that make doughnuts, and those that make mere glazed confectionary; and those that make that mere confectionary will call them doughnuts also, and they will not be happy until you do likewise. Are they not perverse! You must not be a friend to those who associate such confectionary with real doughnuts; verily, they are friends to each other. For Allah is Great, Does Drive-Through.

BigSleep and Geoff:
I see that you are both so UNSOPHISTICATED as to be unaware of the fact that there are multiple varieties of Krispy Kreme doughnuts that do indeed contain injected "cream". One even has rasperry jam inside, and one has a custard-like substance. During the month of May, the "special of the month" was Strawberry Shortcake, with (gasp) strawberry whipped cream inside.
Please try to keep up.
