Calif. Terror Suspects Indicted

California, Pennsylvania and Arkansas in the news this morning. Lodi case update from AP via Fox News:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A father and son were indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury on charges they lied to authorities investigating links to Pakistani terrorist training camps connected to Al Qaeda.

Hamid Hayat, 22, was accused of lying to the FBI earlier this month when he said he did not attend a terrorism camp in Pakistan in 2003 and 2004, prosecutors said.

His father, Umer Hayat, 47, was charged with lying to investigators when he denied that his son had attended such camps. The FBI said the elder Hayat later admitted to flying his son to Pakistan and paying for the camp, which was run by the friend of a relative.

The indictment said the younger Hayat falsely told authorities he was not involved with a terrorist organization, he never attended a terrorist camp and he had never received any weapons training at such a camp.

In an affidavit, the FBI said Hamid Hayat attended a terror camp for about six months before returning to the U.S. intending to wage attacks. They said they found no immediate threat or terrorist activity.

Defense lawyer Wazhma Mojaddidi said Thursday that Hamid Hayat "has most definitely never attended a terrorist training camp."...

Members of the 2,000-member Pakistani community there have said they have been harassed by authorities, and on Thursday two groups said they would file complaints.

In other developments, a 68-year-old Pennsylvania man who told undercover federal agents he had "no loyalty for America" was indicted Thursday on a single count of attempting to support Al Qaeda by allegedly trying to build a bomb and sell it to the terrorist group or its affiliates.

If convicted, Ronald Allen Grecula, of Bangor, Pa., could face up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

In Arkansas, a graduate student who allegedly told a professor that he was leaving to fight in a Palestinian holy war was in federal custody Thursday. Federal agents arrested Arwah J. Jaber on a criminal complaint accusing him of knowingly attempting to provide support to a foreign terrorist organization.

According to Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin (subscription only), terrorist organizations like Hamas provide start up money for small cash and carry businesses in Mexico and then use those businesses for money laundering. Small businesses in small towns seem to be a recurring theme, like the ice cream vendor in Lodi. We are also seeing large mosques being built in small towns in America like this one in Gallup NM. "We are also seeing large mosques being built in small towns in America..."
-- from the article above

It is well-known that Saudi Arabia pays for both the building of extravagantly large mosques all over the Western world, and provides the funds for maintaining them. In some cases, as with the huge mosuqe in Rome, built on land donated by the Italian state (more than 7 acres of prime land in the heart of Rome, not a mile from the Vatican), other rich Arab states, including Kuwait and the U.A.E., have joined in. These mosques help implant what can ony be described as a classic fifth column -- people who are adherents of a belief-system that teaches them not to befriend the indigenous Infidels, but to oppose them, not to be loyal to the Infidel nation-state but to work toward its replacement by a state where Islam dominates and Muslims rule, not to wish the continuuation of the civilization, the culture, the political and social understandings that those Infidels live under, and have inherited as a legacy from their own past and would wish, or should wish, to retain that legacy and not let it slip out of their fingers because they were too fearful, or too stupid, to recognize a new kind of threat, one that does not quite accord with their received templates of what constitutes an enemy but, if examined carefully, turns out to be the most dangerous and threatening enemy to their well-being in the history of the world.

As for those strangely well-financed mosques, one has only to look around. In a town that is hardly thriving, Billerica, Massachusetts, about 100 Muslim families recently opened a new mosque that cost, to build, some $15 million. 100 families, $15 million. That amounts to $150,000 per family. How did they do it? And who is paying the upkeep? Perhaps the Muslims involved can give pointers to the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, which finds that for financial reasons it must close churches with thousands of parishioners, while the Billerica mosque, like others, opens its doors.

There are no terrorist camps in Pakistan. We know that to be true because a Pakistani, muslim, political official told us so.
We have learned that we can trust these people implicitly.

And Hugh...Allah provided the jillions of dollars to build fancy mosques. Allah has a huge printing press and just prints up as much as he needs. He keeps it in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi family are the holy caretakers. Whenever Allah needs a few bucks, he just switches on the Saudi presses, and money comes rolling out.
A simple process, but effective. Allah is never broke and he always knows best...

Well,

This didn't take long.

Civil rights groups filed a Freedom of Information Act request today seeking FBI records of the procedures and policies used during the ongoing investigation into the alleged connection of two Lodi men to the al-Qaida terrorist organization.

The FOIA request is being filed by the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California.

Since there is an on going federal investigation, the ACLU et al, will probably just spin their wheels. But you never know, they might get lucky, but I doubt it...

As for the small business money laundering, we all see the muslim taxi cab drivers. But across the nation muslim used car dealerships are popping up.

Pay attention to where you do business.

WHAT WE NEED is someone with the research to post large businesses that are muslim owned, and what American businesses are contracting to muslim countries.

Dear Hugh,
While the land on which Rome Central Mosque was built is indeed prime building land, it is misleading to say that it is "in the centre of Rome", meaning the historic city. It is in fact in the expensive hilly new districts to the north-west of the historic centre, land which should belong to the city's all too tiny and endangered green belt. It is however true, and outrageous, that it looms over the Vatican; I feel certain that this was intended - not only by the Muslim side, but by some in the Italian authorities who would not mind cutting their neighbour across the Tiber down to size. The Mosque has been at the centre of a scandal not so long ago when it was found that Saudi preachers delivered the purest hate speech in the capital of Italy. The gentlemen were invited to return to their home country.

OT

SPQR:

I left you a message on the June 16 DW "India . . ." thread. I have since found out that you WERE banned from JW.

I suggest contacting Spencer at director@jihadwatch.org and asking him about it directly. He will tell you why posts were deleted and which of his "rules" you have broken. He will most likely re-instate you as long as you apologize and promise not to repeat any offending behavior.

Explain to me the spiritual or religious quality of spending $15 million dollars on an ornate building to pray in five times a day. That money would have been better spent on education and food for those that need it in the community.

f.g.

I agree. He is VERY patient with me. I know that I post VERY HARD things. I know - from experience.

Truly - I just want peace for all.

That is my goal

f.g.? Once the building is in place - Islam is planted.

And so is all that goes along with it.

One more thing:

I TRULY ADMIRE Robert Spencer for the work that he does.

I also like his character that shines through his remarks.

Sometimes they hit the nail tight on the head - and sometimes - well - they're just cute

Planting mosques throughout Western cities, and especially their Capitols, is a cunning method of slowly "normalization of the abnormal".

The more you see them, the less and less bizarre these invasive structures will seem.

To me they all look like tumors.

And those who aren't repelled by what the signify: braindead.

I literally shudder passing one of these cauldrons of the 7th century contempt for women, denial of freedom of thought -and conscience -and belief, and I heartily wish they would be denied building permits in any neighborhood west of Fez, as worse than porno parlors or crack houses. (Those latter two only harm the flesh, or instincts, while the mosques pollute the wellsprings of being, itself.)

Thanks, damned politicians, who changed the U.S. immigration laws in the mid-1960's, to allow this slow invasion of the last defender of liberty on Earth.

Do they hum the song "Suicide is painless" in Congress? And try to believe it is true?

It turns my stomach every day.

Laughter may be the best medicine, -but there is still a psychic taste of bile in every chuckle as long as this infiltration continues unchallenged.

TWO WORDS DROPPED ABOVE:

Somehow two words dropped out of the first sentence ABOVE:

"...a cunning method of slowly inducing the normalization of the abnormal."

P.S.-

If the Saudis will send me $120 million, I'll build the first 'conceptual mosque'-

with no doors.

Entitled: "THE PERFECT FAITH".

Christo be damned!

(Especially for such an egregiously infidel name, as well.)

Ahmed Allali of Indianapolis sentence to one year
in prison. This guy is a member of al-Qaida and
ploted to bomb five American cities. That should
be not a day less than twenty years for a crime
like this. I also think that these guys should be isolated when inprisoned so they can't
promote and recruit for Islam. I will go a stept
farther, I think that these bastards should receive what a Christian would if he were in say
Saudi Arabia and tried this. The Christian would
no doubt be decapitated. So be it with the Muslim. This is a Holy War, An eye for an eye.

To our Secretory of State Condoleezza Rice I would like to say that I have only found celebration and praise from the famalies of Suicide Bombers for their loved ones killing
any one in the blast zone of their criminal act.
Ms. Rice is your head burried in the sand. We are in a Holy War it is them or us. Open your eyes America.
