That's what I love about Robert and Hugh. They're two of the very few people who pull no punches when it comes to the ideology of Islam. and tell it like it is. Courageous people in a world of equivocators.

Congratulations on the book (and on the new cover, for that matter). The topic seems particularly interesting, particularly after reading some of the recent work of Fallaci.

I have a question: are there any plans for translations, and if so, in what languages? Also, do you have a list of the countries that are going to sell the book? If I have no other options, I'll probably be forced to order a copy of the original (English) version from Amazon.

Sometimes I wish there was a third board here, "Apostate Watch." I don't mean that, of course, in a literal sense. I mean exposing the dangerous hypocrisy of Muslims who live in the West, enjoying all of the rights of such a life (as they should), but then who are activists in the awful cause of equalizing and making relative all cultures. How did the agenda of normalizing the world into a liberal arts campus where you celebrate all holidays, join ideologically with the Islamist project to install Islam as the world power, I don't know. In a sense, I respect more the Muslims who say what their religion really is, one that believes in total world domination, than the phonies who care more about their childhood fantasy of sameness than the consequences of a flacid Europe and US.

Two such people. Ms. Khan, the head of Amnesty International, is boasted of on their website as the "first woman and first Muslim" to hold that position. Fair enough, but who cares about that? The answer is we do. People in the West owing to the enlightenment on down care about gender and cultural diversity. Newsweek International editor Fareed Zakaria is a bon-vivant, America trashing (or at least diminishing) wine critc, (wine critic!)living the wonderful New York lifestyle. You would think he would love America with a passion, but not to be.

I think Rushdie has written about the irony that he had only the West to defend him. Of course, Rushdie, like all jet-setting post colonial superstars, writes in English, so he was always in the Occidental mode, even before his little run in with fatwa.

My point is that those of us who love liberty and freedom of thought and action do not need to disparage Islam so much as 1) not to let its essence be changed to fit the liberal agenda of culture-norming so that "we can all just get along," and 2) make sure that it is ok to love the West, whatever our background, without being seen as a jingoistic kook. Is the great Indo-carribean author VS Naipaul a Westerner, damn straight. Was Frederick Douglass American, one of the best. My point is, its not about race or even religion so there is no colonial taint.

Robert, Hugh, expert #3, why is it that those who benefit most from the Western heritage, women, minorities, gays, are likelier to be in the party that excuses and tries to soften Islam? Why? Why?

Back to Ms. Khan. I wonder what she thinks of this from the very Islamic "Life of the Prophet" as taken from the site "Islam Undressed." For that matter, I wonder on what grounds we are criticizing torture (real and imagined) at Gitmo, etc... Our own, of course. While that civilization still lasts:

I cant understand it either...the very people that define and enjoy the open freedom of this society are the ones who embrace the animals who wish to strip them of that freedom...and take their lives as well.
All this in the name of tolerance and "cultural diversity"? This "religion or peace" wants to KILL THEM and that is a FACT...I mean I think it becomes a fact when they tell you to your face, "convert or die!"..or just ...DIE!! and literally saw the heads off innocent men.

These hollywood types and ACLU types will always side with the opposite of common sense. Or they will always take the side opposite a Jew or Christian...which is Islam. It sounds crazy but think of it like this. Say you are a father and you set up certain rules in your house...your daughter doesnt like your rules even though they are setup to protect her(typical teenage crap) You tell her no drugs and no sex before marriage or whatever. One daughter listens to you and finds out you were right, the other daughter said you were wronge and started smoking crack and gets knocked up by some heroin addict...she didnt really want to do this...she just did it to piss you off and spit in your face.

Hmmm does that make sense...or am I losing my mind?

I truly believe that it will take an event of catasrophic proportions to put us back on track.

I feel tense all the time, starting to see to many parallels with europe 1938.

Hope to god there isn't a WW3 but its starting to look that way.

Two Chinese engineers were kidnapped in Pakistan on the weekend and are being held hostage. The terrorists have now strapped explosives to the bodies of their hostages and are threatening to kill at least one unless they get safe passage to their leader, although they've already "spared" them once. The terrorists are now in talks to free their victims and are demanding the release of 6 of their fellow Taleban/Al-Qaeda operatives. It begs the question of why in the hell would Al-Qaeda want to goad China into becoming more active on the war on terror?
But even better is this:
Pakistan officials said the kidnappers were taking orders from [Abdullah] Mehsud, a former inmate of the US military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, who now heads tribesmen fighting alongside al Qaeda fighters in South Waziristan...
Abdullah, who is in his 20s, was among 26 inmates freed from Guantanamo Bay in March after the Pentagon said they were no longer a threat to the United States and had no intelligence value.
That's one serious mistake by the Pentagon.

That is a good question. There is an answer, but the answer is VERY complicated. The answer would have to untangle a complex web of the Western history of ideas, history of philosophy, history of religions, history of culture, and history of politics -- going back at least 300 years.

I can give you the short (and simple) version of the answer, using an analogy: PC Leftists are like spoiled children who need their parents, but also resent and even hate their parents at the same time.

Here's the analogy: Imagine an upper-middle-class household out in the deep suburbs, almost out in the country. There's a mother and father, and a teenage son and daughter. The son and daughter are spoiled brats, so full of bile and venom for their parents and all authority figures that they are almost on the verge of being like the Columbine kids.

Now: One night, the household is terrorized by a marauding band of looters. The phone lines are cut. Cell phones are scrambled (or maybe they don't exist yet -- play along). The mother and father board up the doors and windows, get out the shotguns and rifles, and try to get the family ready to hunker down in self-defense, with later on hopefully windows of opportunity to get on the offensive and actually defeat the marauders.

However, the teenage son and daughter have had their heads up their asses for so long (maybe 3 or 4 years now), hate their parents so much, have not cared to learn manners and character and backbone, don't really give a shit about the household or the family -- they have become so saturated with these types of emotions, that when this real danger happens, they might not be able to rally around their own parents and save not only their house & property, but their own family, and their own lives.

Recap: The teenage son & daughter are our millions of PC Leftists now in the face of the Muslim enemy, and the parents are Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Blair, America, the whole Goddamned West.

I hope all buy Roberts books. Robert, why don't you see if UCB Bookshops here in Australia can sell your book? UCB is a Christian bookshop, that still manages to sell politically incorrect books on Islam (Chuck Missler's stuff from the USA for one). While I'm sure it's "non-religious" (eg from a non-Christian point of view), the rise of Islam WILL effect Christians, and I'm sure many Christians (who are UCB's main custom) would buy.

Hope this is OK Robert, but other good books (written by Christian authors) on the topic I have used (on Muslims and liberals alike) and read are, and are readily available in Australia:

1) Secrets of the Koran Revealed (endorsed by the author of the best seller, "Inside Islam" Reza Safa), by Don Richardson, a linguist and a real academic in his own right.

This bloke has used ALL the translations of the Koran in his critique to remove the Islamic excuse of "its the translation!" Richardson has also extensively used the work of Muir, Warraq, Ye'or to back up some excellent Chapters titled,

"How Muslims defend the Koran" - juicy stuff as Richardson gives you heaps of "ammo" to use on them!

"How Non Muslims defend the Koran" - again - as above - heaps of ammo

He gets into how Mo, was deranged etc, all with back ups from Islamic text and Koran to back up his debate.

Another really scary book (but truthful one) I have come across is:

"Mosques and Miracles" by Robert Stuart.

Its scary because he gets into how Islam has "purchased" our PC academics - literally! He also gets into how Islam has managed to explode into the West, both via birth rate, immigration, and Jihad, and how limp wristed our politicians are.

Daniel Scot - the Australian Pastor who has been convicted in court for speaking out also has excellent books on Islam titled,

"A Summary of the Koran" - a great book that compares the OT and NT of the Bible with the Koran, a great reference of Koranic contradictions and abrogation’s. This from a bloke who can quote both the Koran AND the Hadith off by heart, better than the Mufti's in Pakistan AND Australia!

And one more good Christian book by:

Daniel Shayesteh, "The Difference is the Son". This Daniel is an ex Iranian fundamentalist Muslim politician, who is now a Christian working in Australia to spread the news about Islam, and to help the Iranian people here in OZ leave Islam safely (as the followers of Peace, tend to hurt or kill them - even here!, pity Victoria's vilification laws don't apply to Muslims!). You should see the “before and after’ pictures he has of himself (training to spread Islamic peace with an AK47; and after, all smiles after discovering Jesus’ forgiveness!!)

I've had the pleasure of meeting with both Daniels, and both are "front line" "soldiers" in this fight on Islam - they both put their lives on the line (and that of their families).

I have details of the Australian Danny's books if any are interested.

I like the cover...once again Robert has shown he is the master of oneupsmanship. Revivingislam.com has nothing new to offer...they used the best line they had with the "May Allah rip out your spine", death threat.
Beyond that they cant keep up. All they can do is make more threats, because thats the extent of their intellectual ability and knowledge.

Interesting thesis. The sins of fathers being visited on the sons, and all that. Children tend to react against their parents in one of two ways. By becoming more ideologically purer, more fanatically dedicated than their parents, or by completely renouncing their parent's views and joining the other side.

Look at the Bush-Cheney girls. The Bush girls are slutty beer-swilling party-girls. One of the Cheney girls is a Coors beer-swilling lesbian. I hold these up as typical of the children of the previous conservative generation: they see how corrupt their parents are, and have adopted a purer more fanatical form their parents' corruption.
