Claim: Mossad behind Sharm attacks

88 people are reported dead in the Egyptian resort town. From the Jerusalem Post:

Several Egyptian "security experts" and "political analysts" interviewed by Arab TV stations in the aftermath of the Sharm e-Sheikh bombings on Saturday claimed that Israel and Jews were behind the carnage.

The accusations that Israel was responsible for the deadly attacks were made despite a claim of responsibility by a group citing ties to Al-Qaida, according to a statement posted on an Islamic Web site.

Similar charges have been made against Israel in the past, particularly after last year's suicide attack at the Taba Hilton Hotel in October 2004 and after the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington.

However, most Egyptian government officials refrained from pointing an accusing finger toward Israel, pointing out that extremist Muslim groups were most likely responsible for the Sharm e-Sheikh attacks.

Shortly after the attacks, Egypt's state-run television interviewed retired army general Fuad Allam. He said that he was almost certain that Israel was behind the attacks at Sharm e-Sheikh and Taba.

According to Fuad, investigations have shown that the mastermind of the Taba attack was a Palestinian "apparently linked to Israel's security forces."

He added: "I'm almost certain that Israel was also behind this attack because they want to undermine our government and deal a severe blow to our economy. The only ones who benefit from these attacks are the Israelis and the Americans."...

The governing rule of logic is to ask oneself "who benefits?" Inevitable answer: "the Jews benefit." Then, all that's left, is to work backwards in order to make it fit the circumstances. Presto! It's the Mossad. Works every time.

In the words of Sartre, Anti-Semitism is a POOR MAN'S SNOBBERY. Blaming the Jews is so typical of a moron. It seems as though some people crave victory by terrorists.

"He added: 'I'm almost certain that Israel was also behind this attack because they want to undermine our government and deal a severe blow to our economy. The only ones who benefit from these attacks are the Israelis and the Americans.'..."

Oh, what an educated statement. People love the drama, they like fueling the fire, who wants peace anyway? It makes me feel like more of a man if I take the position of anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism. Yes, very manly. History will look so kindly upon Fuad, the guy who blamed the Jews for the Egyptian attacks. What brilliance, what insight... what a man!

Utter nonsense. Mossad are good but even they cannot be in two places at once. And everyone knows that they were too busy in London this week training our police in assassination techniques, and working on the Thursday 21st failed bomb incidents which were a hoax plotted with MI5 to facilitate stricter legislation. Or so one stupid little flibbertigibbit who watched The Power of Nightmares thinks.

Yes I am being sarcastic.

Egypt must be told that these charges are the last straw, the last violation of the solemn commitments, not one of which was ever fulfilled, under the Camp David Accords, to refrain from hostile propaganda -- which, essentially, was all that the Israelis asked for, in return handing over the entire Sinai, including Sharm el-Sheikh itself, which the Israelis had developed as a tourist resort, several oilfields they had discovered and developoed, three major air bases, and $16 billion in infrastructure.

Time to end the jizyah of $2 billion a year, and time to direct the Egyptians to go, hat in hand, to the Saudis, the Kuwaitis, the U.A.E. for whatever sums their fellow Arab Muslims will give them, in that famous spirit of intra-Arab loyalty and generosity that always seems to involve support for terrorism, rather than food aid or cheap fuel.

I told you!
>Of course this will be blamed on "The Jews" in one >way or another, and it couldn't possibly be any >"good Muslims".

Wouldn't that be "El Al Qaeda" then?

What will those Jews think of next?

Maybe the dynastic pyramids were a long-range Jewish conspiracy to confuse the later Muslims with these big tourist-attracting objects. A way to mingle Kafirs from other lands into the future Muslim kingdom of the pharoahs? Polluting their Islamic purity with evil Western influences? Like MTV. Or computer websites with the free movie promo video showing a nubile Jessica Simpson washing a car in a bikini. Or the sound of an icy beer bottle being popped on a hot day.

That Mossad is sooooooooooo devious!

Truely unbelievable!

The west must monitor more and more of this and take note or rather tell the Egyptians to take note. They never miss an opportunity don't they. Muslims bomb muslim soil, but aha, this can be used to our advantage to further the jihad!

That's how our goverments need to look at these statements, not just the usual Arab/muslim hyperbole, furthering jihad through hatred. Thats's it, nothing else.

I thought the $2bn was for the Camp David accords, or maybe to prize the Egyptians away from Soviet influence. Well the Egyptians have no interest in the former in either letter or spirit and the latter have gone. The reasons for the jizra have gone, do we like wasting money?

Incidentally, during the 80s the Egyptians used US aid to buy Mirage planes from the French, declining US equipment. The US is truely a glutton for this. Pakistan later after the bomb tests, complained that the US embargo of about to be delivered F16s was unjust since they had already 'paid' for them and were entitled to fiscal compensation! Pakistanis took to the streets with the usual US flag burning and death to Amerika routine. Not a word from the BBC about the US aid each year, just their 'explanations' that the Pakistanis felt that the US wasn't being even handed, since the Indians weren't impacted in the same way. Are we stupid?

Liberalsim is a brain disease. Just saw a news-report on the south of Thailand, blaming Thaksin Shinawatra for all the strife that goes on there. Several hundreds have been killed, especially Buddhist monks and School-teachers, since the Islamic scourge there sees them as an obstacle to the Sharia, which they intend to implement. The obviously leftie reporters blamed the "unrest" on Shinawatras "heavy-handedness", not on the Jihad which the sons of Allah are waging there since quite a while now.

Those who remember what it looked like 30 years ago would not have seen a hijab, jilbab or the total Saudi style black burkha. The Thais always considered themselves Thai first and 'muslim' second. That has now changed.

I really can't believe what I saw just now, the whole thing is much more out of hand than I imagined.

Just like what happened in Indonesia: The whole place turned into an Islamic hell-hole, mosques, coffee-filters and Allahu-akhbar all over the place. I guess their entertainment is bombs and acid attacks on women who refuse to wear the veil.

Just gets sillier by the minute.

Still the same problem, war it is, but against whom, exactly.

And the answer can never be 'exact', because of the massive latent support in many parts of the world wide muslim community for the terrorism, and the supply of young enthusiasts for terrorism that such latent, and not so latent support, will continue to produce.

Then senior members of the egyptian establishment feeding this cr-p to their people -talk about feeding fuel to the flames.

Psssst...

The word's out all over the loony leftist cesspools...seems a certain Karl Rove is a closet Jew.....! The Horror! But then again, entirely understandable as well...
Once you figure out whom to really believe, its a straighforward extension from there....Dick Cheney is jewish (secretly, of course!), and so are Bush and Blair.....

That stupid statement truly shows muslim prejudice towards Jews. Any idiot can clearly see every time there's a large explosion, it's most probably al qaeda. At the scene of the Egyptian attack, a British resident was attacked and beaten by arab residents. The Iraqi's are blaming US soldiers for attacks from terrorists. And we all know homicidal bombers believe they're receiving an orgy in heaven for their dirty deeds. I wonder what the female bombers are told they'll receive. These muslims are the most stupid people on earth.

However, on a serious note, the attacks in London and Egypt are the beginning of a new offensive by al qaeda led by Zarqawi. They figure it's easier to attack Europe and the middle east than the US with lots of small attacks instead of a few big attacks per year. The amazing thing is MI5 totally screwed up on this one. The cell responsible for the London attacks was in the computer of an al qaeda operative captured last year. MI5 deemed them not serious, I suppose because they were Pakistani's born in the UK, not imports. A poll was done this week of muslims in UK and 56% felt the attacks were justified. When are our governments going to learn and begin deporting these people? They're not really people now are they? More like Satanic zombies.

Everything is a MOSSAD false flag operation according to the morons of

It makes the stomach wrench, especially when the majority of posters who believe this crap are NOT NAZI's or Muslims (though the forum has it's share of those) but Christians, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Catholics and so called "libertarians".

In actuality it is a prime example of Goebels propaganda at work, tell a lie, loud enough, often enough and convincingly enough and people believe it.

Unfortunately too many of the boobs, besides being young and immature, believe that the whole problem is Israel, Wolfowitz, Perle, Freith, Kristol, and the rest of the neo cons (most whom happen to be Jewish) pushing for the invasion of Iraq, and justifying the invasion despite the fact that none of the excuses given hold water, haven't helped, neither has JINSA, PNAC or the Israeli Institute of Strategic Studies, Clean Break document.
By the way Violetta, it isn't just the loonie left, in fact most of those who make claims such as the one you mentioned (Rove being a Jew) or MOSSAD behind the bombings, are not left at all, but right wingers (and no not NAZI's either). Very right wing, conservative, gay hating, feminist hating, hollywood hating, "family value" Christians.

Not all Right Wingers are FREEPERs and Bush Bots. The left may be anti Zionist, but they aren't irrational antisemites, however the Right (that is not a FREEPER or Bush bot) is an irrational antisemite and hence an Islamophile.

Peruse Liberty Forum and check it out for yourself.

it is reasonable to believe that the last thing the west wants to see is Egypt going to the Saudis Cap in Hand. The saudis are friends to no one- cartainly not the westerners (despite what the might claim in taqiya) , neither are they the friends of the egyptians
Any money given would be veiled in an effort to destroy the government an establish a sharia state.
And the last thing Israel needs is a Sharia state on it's doorstep.
Any agreements would have to be torn up faster than you can say "light the paper".

Of course!

Retired Army General sez: "It was the Jooooz!" He saw Ariel Sharon personally sneakin' around the corner with his matchstick still alight and he would swear by the burkha of his grandmother and her gold-tooth (which he keeps in his pocket) and of course by Allah that it was the 'Joooooz"...

Any doubt that Egypt will not become another 'Islamic' state with Sharia Law once they get rid of Mubarrak?

Posted by: Terminator [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 24, 2005 4:34 AM

what else can you expect from muslims whose entire existence is based on "the big lie". is there any doubt whatsoever that the world would be a better place without them?

Posted by: dms [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 24, 2005 5:33 AM

I suspect that the bombings were, inter alia, a response to the fact that too-secular Egypt is catering to infidel tourists, who have entered part of the Dar-al-Islam (i.e. the Sinai) in significant numbers, tainting it. Worse, they are being catered to by Muslims, who pander to these infidel guests, even serving them alcohol. I need not remind you that it is forbidden for Muslims to be subordinate to unbelievers - the very idea, that Muslims should make the beds, clean the rooms, and serve food and wine to the infidel!
Israelis who vacation in Egypt should have their heads examined. Jews responsible for the attacks, indeed. But of course the accusers are not official spokesmen for the Egyptian government, merely "experts" who are offering their informed opinions, don't you know.

i would, at this time like to make a proposal;

a fund should be started to financially reward any reporter who, the next time some foolass muslim talking head states that some horrific act of carnage is the work of the JOOOOOOOOS,
falls to the ground in hysterical laughter, tears streaming down their face, unable to compose him or herself for a period of time long enough to disrupt the "news event".
one reporter the first time, then two, and on and on. this would not be done to infer any doubt on our part as to the danger of the fascist sociopolitical entity that is islam, but rather to impress upon muslims how absolutely, insanely, overwhelmingly ludicrous we view these ideas. i think it would be refreshing to see one of these jerks ridiculed into silence instead of giving him an erection over the fawning dhimmis hanging on his every word, sagely nodding like they have a freakin clue.

i know, i know, the built-in monkeywrench; the reporters. but i can dream. sigh

Al Jazeera needs to be shut down. They feed this crap to the Arab community. Al Jazeera is as about responsible for its contents as Senator Dick Durbin is about talking about the treatment of the detainees in Guatanamo Bay.

I can't wait till one of these extremist groups claims responsibilty like Islamic Jihad,Hamas, or some splinter group of AL Qaeda.

Then these rumors look even more ignorant.
