Peace In Our Time update from Israel National News:
The Palestinian Authority's state-run television station broadcast various programs this past week conveying the message that Israel's destruction is attainable. In the days since the IDF began to withdraw completely from Gaza, PA TV broadcast several programs all emphasizing the goal of destroying the Jewish State. Palestinian Media Watch has issued a report on the broadcasts, including translations and video clips.
One of the broadcasts was a rerun of a so-called "historical educational" program first aired in 2003. It reiterates the PA teaching that Israel has no right to exist because all of Israel is "Palestine." It featured claims that Israel's continued existence is, by its very nature, a threat to the entire Arab world and displayed a map of all of Israel, marked Palestine under the PLO flag. The narrator, meanwhile, said that if Palestine is not "whole," meaning if Israel continues to exist, it is like a fatal knife thrust into the heart of the Arab nation, which threatens it in its entirety.
The following are quotes from the program, aired September 6, 2005 and July 1, 2003, which can be viewed by clicking here:
"The countries of our [Arab] homeland also have a heart...
"If the heart is whole and healthy, then all the other parts are whole and healthy. The heart of the Arab homeland is Palestine. The homeland remains whole and healthy if Palestine is whole and healthy...
"A stab in the heart is a deathblow.
"Throughout the generations of history there were those who directed the first stab at the heart of the Arab nation, to Palestine."
In a separate broadcast in PA television, an Arab academic expressed similar anticipation of Israel's eventual destruction, describing the joy of the Gaza withdrawal as incomplete until Israel experiences total destruction. "Nothing compares to this joy, the oppressed overcomes the oppressor," said Dr. Ismaeil Al-Fara, a lecturer at Al-Quds University, "but our happiness will be complete only with the return of all of our lands - the [West] Bank, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Haifa, Tzfat, and other stolen cities."

No surprise except at those who continue to be surprised.

"...which threatens it in it's entirety"
Because Isreal is an embarrassment to the whole Arab world. Little two-bit Isreal is more civilized and productive after +/- 60 years than the Arab mideast is after 1000. The desert blooms, science and technology thrive, culture flourishes.
1 Isreali is worth 100 palestinians any day.

These guys never wisen up, do they. There's already been a delegation to some federal committee presenting damning TV footage from PA TV to the government that was, so far as I know, well received and not refuted by the usual suspects. This kind of rhetoric, post Gaza, will not play very well to the taxpayers who are on the hook for that huge commitment Bush made to the PA for "reconstruction and development".

No it won't.

If Dr. Al-Fara insists on the return of stolen lands, he is going to open up a big can of worms.
That said, on behalf of Christianity, we request the return of our lands, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Cyprus among others, from the Moslems/Arabs who took them in their expansionist endeavors from our ancestors, both physical and spiritual. Our happiness will only be complete with the return of all of our lands.

If one has to give up what was taken, I think the Arabians will have to give back the Jews of Israel Medinah and several watering wholes between Israel and Medinah. The Jews also will get back all of Yemen.

Epitaph
The wall on which the prophets wrote
Is cracking at the seams.
Upon the instruments of death
The sunlight brightly gleams.
When every man is torn apart
With nightmares and with dreams,
Will no one lay the laurel wreath
As silence drowns the screams.
Between the iron gates of fate,
The seeds of time were sown,
And watered by the deeds of those
Who know and who are known;
Knowledge is a deadly friend
When no one sets the rules.
The fate of all mankind I see
Is in the hands of fools.
Confusion will be my epitaph.
As I crawl a cracked and broken path
If we make it we can all sit back
and laugh.
But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying,
Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying.

Try to get it right. You're not the heart, you're the asshole. Understand ?

Yassir Sharon addressed the UN today for the first time since creating the state of New Judenrein for the moslems. His speech apparantly delighted liberals and arabists but failed to impress Jewish nationalists. What a surprise!

Indeed, until the militant invasion of the Saracen horde the lands of the Eastern Mediterranean were the cradle of the early church where now the last few remnants of our Christian brothers in the Maronite and Coptic Orthodox Churches (among numerous others) are harried and repressed, such is lot of "Dhimmis" in these lands.
Yet militant resistance to these Islamist overlords is virtually unheard of - when your Holy Book advocates turning the other cheek this is sort of a given. The weapons referred to in the Christian armoury are laid out for all to see in the book of Ephesians (6:14-19): Truth, Righteousness, the readiness to announce the Good News of Peace, Faith, Salvation and The Word of God given by the Holy Spirit. You'll notice that none of these are physical weapons - the power we call upon is Truth.
So, use that weapon (THE TRUTH) to its full effect - inform your friends and family - support the local, state and federal politicians who value truth over public opinion and give them your support (words and votes, I don't think they're short on cash) - DO NOT TOLERATE INTOLERANCE.
Someday yet the Christian Peoples of Alexandria, Antioch, Cairo, Cilesia, Constantinople, Cyprus, Damascus, Derbe, Ephesus, Galatia, Lycaonia, Lystra, Mysia, Pamphylia, Patara, Phoenicia, Pisidia, Tyre and (let us not forget "Palestine") may be free to pracise their Faith without being persecuted.
As little as it may mean to those of you who don't share my faith; my fellow JWers and their valuable mission to inform as many as possible of Islamism's past and present dangers will be in my prayers.

And for this, "we" give them financial aid and provide myriad support? They spit in the face of America while having their hands out. True colors have never been so obvious. Oy!

Otterfish says "The only good muslim is a bad muslim".
I hope you were Jesting, I could take sever offence to this. It is oversimplified and broadbrushed. I am a reasonable person and a muslim...ask any of your readers.

Well, Naseem, as long as "good muslims" hold to the tenets of Islam that (1)call for the overthrow of a democratically elected government, "of the people, by the people and for the people" and (2)call for the establishment of Islamic rule with the resultant supression of individual rights which our nation's forefathers rightly stated were "endowed by our Creator" (not Allah by the way, as they are not the same Being) later enumerated in the Bill of Rights in the US Constitution, then I agree with otterfish that "bad Muslims" are the only way to go.
Reasonable is not the issue as we have so often seen of late that the most seemingly reasonable people have gone off an blown themselves up.
Reasonableness has nothing to do with what is going on in our world today....Treasonable perhaps....reasonable...no.

Stolen cities??!! These idiots become more delusional every day. The Palestinian barbarians have never built one worthy edifice, much less a modern, prosperous city! All these savage beasts know how to do is kill, maim, and annihilate. Everything they touch turns to dust; wanton, gratuitous ruination is the only goal of these despicable, malevolent ghouls.
Decades of inbreeding, rife proliferation, and Islamic brainwashing have created the most aberrant, dysfunctional, psychotic group of sub-human monsters on the planet. They are more feral than denizens of the animal kingdom, and much less dignified. They should have been put out of their misery long ago. Israel and the rest of the world do not deserve to be tormented by these vicious fiends another day, much less another fifty years.
They will never be "happy"; muslims are not supposed to be happy. Happiness is for civilized people, not savages who are devoid of normal human emotions. The only time they feel happiness is when they are murdering innocents or are engaged in incendiary riots to spew hate and intolerance.
