Why, yes. And Jews, Buddhists, atheists, secular Muslims -- any actual or potential victim of jihad violence and dhimmitude. "Hindus, Christians must unite to fight jihad: VHP," from the Press Trust of India, with thanks to Eric:
Coimbatore, September 17: VHP leader Praveen Togadia on Saturday advocated a ‘civilisation treaty’ between Hindus and Christians to defeat ‘jihadi terrorism, spreading all over the world’. “Jihadi terrorism has become the biggest international challenge and even the main subject of the summit at the United Nations and the 85 crore Hindus and over 170 crore Christians should jointly fight and enter into a ‘civilisation treaty’ against this,” Togadia said.He said Hindus and Christians were the victims of the terror. There was not a single political party in India to protect the Hindu society on the lines of Republican Party of President George Bush in the US and Christian Democratic Party in various parts of Europe, he said.
He may be assuming a bit too much about a President who has announced that he is fighting to protect the values enshrined in the Qur'an.

Bush makes Sergeant Uday Singh`s death a flippant affair. Pity that.

Also:
Damanpreet Kaur, one of the Sikh youth speakers, candidly shared that Singh upheld "the Sikh beliefs under the American flag, the stars and stripes that unite us Sikhs, with all Americans. Uday Singh traveled to a place where people lived in fear and did not have the same basic freedom granted by the United Nations. Together, with fellow Americans from all walks of life, he fought for principles of peace and justice, akin to the forefathers of this country."
The event especially hit home for one local Sikh. Army Staff Sgt. Hardeep Singh Saini, 32, who is currently awaiting orders on a return mission to the Persian Gulf, remarked that, ......

`the Sikh beliefs under the American flag`
compare that to bloody Ibrahim Hooper of terrorist CAIR:
"I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future...But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."

I re-read your quotations from the Bible and the Qur'an at the link you provide at the end. Then I copied them onto a word document, and printed it out, and put in on my refrigerator, next to a Roz Chwast cartoon about "Retirement Plans" and a postcard of Malvern Hills in the mist.
One hopes that someone in Washington will do the same, only make an extra copy and hand it to you know who at the next flesh-pressing opportunity.

VHP(World Hindu Concil) leader Dr.Pravin Togadia has wrigtly called all secular minded people to get united against Islamic Jihad/Terrorism. India is likely become a nodal point in the Islamic regression. Till now Islam has expanded since its inception. Post 9/11 non-islamic world, especially in the west has become acutely conscious of evilness of (true)islam. In India, Hindus are fighting islamic slavery/jihad/terrorism for last thousand years. Now time has come, islam will ultimately loose its war with non-islamic world and India will gain from islamic defeat

Free people must unite to take on the gathering storm of Islamism, until such time as we see Islamic representations and memories IN MUSEUMS.

This guy aint a politician, hes a leader of VHP which is an extreme group even by Hindutva standards. He mus first make sure Indian Christians join Hindus. Indian Chritians r playing good dhimmis by toeing to Muslim line with regards to Hindutva.

I went back and checked the link from 20 January, referenced above. Good choice of verses from al Quran and Holy Writ! However, the problem ALWAYS boils down to this: Despite the mealy mouthed gushings of liberal "multi-culturalists" Christians do not worship the same God as Muslims. I have many good friends who are Muslims. One is named Muhammad!, whose grandfather made the Hadj from Nigeria and stayed in Arabia. One day he asked me what Christians believe. As an orthodox Catholic I could think of nothing better than to recite the Nicene Creed. When I reached the words "And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made", if Muhammad, who is as black as the proverbial Ace of Spades, could have turned white, he would have done so! He was horrified! I had just voiced the starkest blasphemy! To him , and to all believing Muslims, Christianity is a a plague to be eradicated from the face of the earth to make way for the true sumission to Allah! He asked me if all Christians believed this and, in honesty, I had to admit that while it was the historic belief of all Christians, many liberal Modernists no longer did so.
My point is that we are not faced with a liberal, modernist, pluralist, multi-cutural religion/ideology/weltanschauung such as is held by many mainline "Christian" sects. We are faced with a mindset that is dedicated, and has been dedicated since its beginning, to our destruction and to the destruction of that Greco-Roman Catholic Civilsation and Culture that many of us still hold dear and are willing to die for.
To make this point, I always wear a pin of the old "Crusaders Cross". When I am asked what it means, I answer, "the destruction of Islam". Recently a good friend was deploying to Iraq. At his going away party. I pinned one of my pins on his shirt. He asked what it meant and I told him. Today, that pin is being proudly worn on the front lines of the struggle between two totally different, irreconcilable world views!

I had the priviledge of hearing and meeting Dr. Togadia while I was a visiting Physician during my volunteer work in Rishikesh.
One of my friends, who I should not name or else he will kill me, has said he is trying to get a copy of PIG delivered to Dr. Togadia.
Although he is very extreme, you need someone like him to stop Jihad before it takes over and wins.
The Muslims were able to establish a mosque in Haridwar, one of the sacred cities for the Hindus, but when the tried to do it in Rishskesh, Dr. Togadia rallied people from far and wide to stop them.
The amazing thing I witnessed first hand was that when the (local) Congress Party tried to protest his public address, the Rishikesh Police ended up manhandling the Congress supporters and throwing them out (actually it was a Lathi charge, more like a bad beating).
Anyways, I hope Indian Christians wake up, but that would be a miracle.

The Indian Armed Forces is a prime choice for christian Anglo Indians and many indian christians have distinguished themselves in the wars. Including the christian wingco i met in Jaipur, and the research officer in DehraDhun.
The more immediate need is WILL.

Togadia has less work nowadays as the Congress is doing his work for him. Sadly, the Indian Christians are firmly hitched on to the Congress' secular bandwagon which is a farce.
