The Gaza withdrawal has enabled Israel to move decisively against the jihadists: they have shown good faith, and it has been answered only with scorn, triumphalism, and violence. So now the Israelis will defend themselves. "IDF, Shin Bet arrest 82 Hamas, Islamic Jihad men in West Bank," from Haaretz, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
The Shin Bet security service and the Israel Defense Forces arrested 82 Hamas and Islamic Jihad members in the West Bank early Tuesday, the army said Tuesday.The sweep follows the arrest of 207 Palestinian members of the two groups on Sunday.
The detentions come in tandem with an IDF offensive against Palestinians in Gaza who bombarded southern Israel with dozens of Qassam rockets over the weekend.

I really wished that more of them resisted arrest. How long befor the world starts screaming for the Israelies to release them so that they can continue the jihad?

As I have maintained...if the the nearly suicidal concessions made by Israel shall yield any benefit at all, it should be in the hardening of their positions on other issues.
In my humble opinion as an amateur scholar (read: dilletant) of such issues, there is now no longer any impetus towards "restraint" on the part of the Israelis- the voluntarily displaced Arabs...er, I mean so-called "Palestinans" have squandered whatever sympathy they may have once enjoyed among the non-EUrodhimmi academic apologists, er...I mean "academic elite".
At least that's what I hope will come to pass.

Now that they have captured all of these Jihadists perhaps they could do something usefull like swift trials and executions so as to take all of the vermin permanantly out of circulation. But I guess that would be condemmed in the world press as cruel and unusual punishment.
