Not really, but definitely a new voice reaffirming the original Islam. The Sheik confirms the inherent fears of persecution that lead followers to believe in wild conspiracy theories. Of course, those beliefs are the required "justification" to commit more acts of violence. From NineMSN:
Muslim preacher Sheik Khalid Yasin grabbed the headlines recently with a speech saying Muslims couldn’t have non-Muslim friends. Sunday investigates the United States-born convert to Islam who’s testing Australian tolerance to its limits. He is setting up a new radio and television network here to spread his extremist message. Launched last weekend, the Islamic Broadcasting Corporation aims to attract a quarter-of-a-million subscribers. Its driving force is this charismatic preacher who’s capturing the hearts and minds of young Australian Muslims with a radical mix of pleas for the understanding of terrorism, anti-Western conspiracy theories and radical homophobia. For Yasin, terrorist bombings in Bali are justified by hundreds of years of Western oppression of Muslims. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda did not carry out the September 11 attacks on the United States — they were a “rogue operation” by Western governments.
Yasin has “not seen any irrefutable documentation to link Osama Bin Laden or the so-called Al Qaeda" with being responsible for that action. Instead, he says, “we now know the way those buildings fell, they fell from internal explosive charges the same way it’s done on a building site.”
The Sheik also propogates beliefs which are similar to this anti-Muslim "plot."
It was “missionaries from the World Health Organisation and Christian groups”, according to Yasin who “went into Africa and inoculated people for diphtheria, malaria, yellow fever and they put in the medicine the AIDS virus”.
Read it all.

Oh yeah, the religion of peace, baby.
Understanding terrorism is easy. They wish to produce a certain outcome in a political or societal population. By way of "someone elses death".
The special effects crews of all the news services that covered the WTC terrorist attacks are damn good.
Those looked like real planes to me.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make em' drink.
If arrogant, virulent islam doesnt want vaccines, thats cool. Let them die of stupidity.

Can someone pls lend this sheikh dude a megaphone. Can anyone really do a better job at discrediting islamic thinking (oxy-moron-ic as that sounds) than these jihadi drools themselves? When people hear about such things, the self-appointed anal-ysts atthe MSM will have to bend over backwards even more to whitewash so much filth....Gawd, this in ausralia/ Whats the world coming to?

Looks like it is time for some outfit to be formed that `takes out` these hate-preachers. Something like `The 4 Just Men`.
Once they see their brothers dropping by the road the rest of the preachers will step into line. No other way.

Voletti:
The problem with your suggestion is that the bigger, more outrageous the lie, the more happily those who are already predisposed are likely to buy into it.
Four years after 9/11, so many people are still willing to believe it was Israel behind the bombing -- not just Muslims around the world, but New Yorkers of all colours. Marc Levin's recent documentary, "Protocols of Zion" is rather weak, but it does show that people who are already predisposed towards hating Israel and/or Jews, whether they are Muslim or not, will accept the lamest, baldest statements as "fact".

Muslims are always crying discrimination. Isn't it discrimnation to indoctrinate those ripe for it that no-one but another Muslim is an acceptable friend? Isn't this DISCRIMINATION?
They should deport this goof ... uh wait. Isn't he American?

"we now know the way those buildings fell, they fell from internal explosive charges the same way it’s done on a building site."
This is how people like Yasin gain their power as their comments are directed towards their most ignorant flock by our unwitting media at every turn.
The world is full of demogogues like Yasin. Right here in America we have our own home grown demogogues in the likes of Louis Farrakhan,Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. These notable demogogues use the ever willing media to get out their messages to their flocks who will believe anything that they tell them.
Farrakhan tells his followers that rogue operators within our government blew up the levees in New Orleans to flood black homes. Reverands Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson tell their ignorant flock that the government withheld food, and medicine from New Orleans because they our racist.
Do these demogogues no better? of course they do! But it is important for them to keep their flock in turmoil, to keep them angry, to keep them thinking the white community is racist at every turn and is trying to suppress them. They know that this is how they maintain their power base over these people by continously making them believe that they cannot succeed in America.
And of course when they see a successfull black person such as a Condoleeza Rice, Colin Powell, or a Clarence Thomas, or a Walter Williams, they try to convince their flock that these people are UNCLE TOMS'.
The practice of being a demogogue is most prevalent in fundamental Islamic communities at almost every turn. The hadiths, and surahs have literally invited this practice for centuries, thus we see that most middle East countries are run by dictators. Thus we see little free expression but mostly suppression.

David "what holocaust?" Irving could not obtain a visa to enter Australia.
How did this piece of shit manage it?

Anthony:
Was it Australian Customs & Immigration who kept Irving out or was it advanced publicity stirring up a hew-and-cry? (I am unaware of any criminal charges Irving might have been facing)
My point is that the Sheik may have slipped in "under the radar". Let's hope the Aussie authorities treat him the way Canadian authorities treated Ernst Zundel, only much, much more swiftly.

Discrimination and religious profiling is what Islam is all about, for you can't have the "protected classes," the dhimmi paying the jizya without making the distinction and regulating them as inferior and unworthy. Thus, when a speaker such as Yasin declares that non-Muslims get what they deserve because of centuries of discrimination, he is not really being hypocritical, for hypocrisy means to do the opposite of what one believes. He is only being truthful as his beliefs.
Thwarting the goals and objectives of Islam in the non-Muslim areas should be one of our primary goals; otherwise we will soon be dhimmis or dead.

Here's yet another example of the horrors done to the human mind brought on by the smoking of camel poop. (I need an illustrative chart).
The moral of the story: STAY AWAY FROM CAMEL POOP AND THE ARABS THAT SMOKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
You have been warned!
and p.s.--Never listen to anything a practicing Muslim says!

Violleti is RIGHT.
THe more oxygen given to these vile clerics by grovelling western media the better. Whilst endorsing some of their views , they are inadvertently educating the public to such muslim beliefs, eg that no muslim should befriend a non muslim unless for purposes of conversion or business profitable to muslims.
The fact that a few American New York idiots believe that GWB was responsible for 911 is not the fault of the media but of their own stupidity. THey will always be there regardless.
I now welcome all the BBC, ABS, SBS programs that grovel to Islam and attack Israel because when i talk to the viewers, they are all outraged as I am. They would not have been if they had not been subjected to such arrogant bias from the ministries of manufactured truthes.
In other words, the effect of these programs is EXACTLY the opposite of that hoped by the program makers!
