Yasir Arafat, of course, was a master at this, but he only had the Internet to play with in his declining years. Now Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran is proving to be a worthy dissembler as well. Jihad Watch reader Adam has alerted me to the differing front pages of his English and Farsi websites. I don't know how long they'll stay this way, so I have taken the screenshots above.
You don't have to be able to read Farsi to tell that the lead story on the Farsi site concerns Ahmadinejad's now-infamous remarks at the "World Without Zionism" conference last Wednesday in Tehran. But on the English front page that story is not only not featured; it is nowhere to be found.
Now this may be because the English site simply hasn't been updated yet. The date on the Farsi site, 4 Aban, 1384, corresponds to October 26, 2005, and the English site is dated October 23, 2005. Thus once the English site is brought up to October 26, it may carry the same genocidal anti-Semitism as the Farsi site. But there is no reason for a time lag here: IRNA has plenty of English translations available that the President could pick up if he so desired.
Anyway, it is too late for the Thug-In-Chief to present a moderate face to the West while breathing threats and murder for the home crowd. The cat is out of the bag. Whether Western leaders will do anything beyond tut-tutting is as yet unclear, but they can't say they didn't know.
UPDATE: This morning both sites are the same, leading with a story entitled, "President slams Zionists' ambitious policies."

"Arafat Lied All The Time And Was A Master Manipulator"
Terje Roed-Larsen is a man who knew Arafat well. He is known as the "father" of the Oslo Accords. He was also a supporter of Arafat and a critic of Israel. However, he told the American magazine The Atlantic Online in a recent interview that "Arafat lied all the time" and was "a master manipulator". Arafat´s friend admits that Arafat was a liar:
Terje Roed-Larsen, the father of the Oslo Accords and the most visible representative of the United Nations in the Middle East, was a consistent supporter of Arafat and is a consistent critic of Israel. He met weekly and often every other day with Arafat for more than a decade. Yet he admits: "He lied all the time. And he knew it... He was a master manipulator, and in a way he was a master politician who made catastrophic mistakes in both moral and political terms. He thought he was immortal; he trusted that he had God's hand protecting him for everything. And he goes away in the middle of the biggest defeat of his life. That was one of the reasons he was so miserable before he died."

Khomeini's speech on the day of celebration of the birth of Muhammad: 1981
Why do you only read the Quranic verses of mercy and do not read the verses of killing? Quran says; kill, imprison! Why are you only clinging to the part that talks about mercy? Mercy is against God. The prophet has [had] sword to kill people. Our [Holy] Imams were quite military men. All of them were warriors. They used to wield swords; they used to kill people. We need a Khalifa who would chop hands, cut throat, stone people In the same way that the messenger of God used to chop hands, cut throats, and stone people. In the same way that he massacred the Jews of Bani Qurayza (4) because they were a bunch of discontent people. If the Prophet used to order to burn a house or exterminate a tribe that was justice.

Democracy? I meant theocracy
Before the victory of the revolution (February 11, 1979)
"Personal desire, age, and my health do not allow me to personally have a role in running the country after the fall of the current system." -- Interview with the Associated Press, Paris, November 7, 1978
"I have repeatedly said that neither my desire nor my age nor my position allows me to govern." -- Interview with the United Press, Paris, November 8, 1978
"I don't want to have the power or the government in my hand; I am not interested in personal power." -- Interview with The Guardian newspaper, Paris, November 16, 1978
"I don't want to be the leader of the Islamic Republic; I don't want to have the government or the power in my hands. I only guide the people in selecting the system." -- Interview with an Austrian TV reporter, Paris, November 16, 1978
"It is the Iranian people who have to select their own capable and trustworthy individuals and give them the responsibilities. However, personally, I can't accept any special role or responsibility." -- Interview with Le Journal newspaper, Paris, November 28, 1978
"After the Shah's departure from Iran, I will not become a president nor accept any other leadership role. Just like before, I limit my activities only to guiding and directing the people." -- Interview with Le Monde newspaper, Paris, January 9, 1979
"The Islamic regime does not have oppression." -- Interview with France Press news agency, Paris, October 25, 1978
After the revolution
"This nation exists and clerics exist too. You all must know that in every place in this country only clerics can get the job done. Don't show so much prejudice that you want to put the clerics aside. What have you done for your country in all these years that now you're saying clerics should not be in charge? Appreciate these clerics. You do not understand correctly! If you put this group aside, no name or sign of Islam will remain. Imagine one cleric has done something wrong somewhere. Why can you do something wrong and some cleric cannot do anything wrong?" -- In a meeting with the Islamic Parliament, Jamaran (2), Tehran, May 27, 1981
"Don't listen to those who speak of democracy. They all are against Islam. They want to take the nation away from its mission. We will break all the poison pens of those who speak of nationalism, democracy, and such things." -- In a meeting with Iranian students and educators, Qom (3), March 13, 1979
"That group that due to its opposition to Islam is opposing us, with the same fist that we destroyed the regime we will destroy that group as well. Pay attention to your statements. Repent from your writings. I am warning you that you still have time to repent." -- In a talk at the Fayzieah School, Qom, June 5, 1979
"The intellectuals, the writers, those who have information and thoughts, you see some of them take their pens and in the name of democracy they write whatever they want and they cause disagreements. This group of so-called intellectuals has to correct themselves. Whatever we are suffering is from this group of intellectuals and judges. What we are suffering is because of them. -- In a talk in Qom, July 23, 1979
"We have to warn these intellectuals that if they don't stop their meddling, they will be crushed. We have treated you gently so that maybe you would stop your evilness, and if you don't stop, we will have the last word. These American sympathizers and others must know that in just a few hours we can throw them in the trashcan of annihilation any day that we wish to do so." -- In a talk to the Iranian people, August 8, 1979
"Those who create political fronts must stop their activities. If from the beginning, as in other revolutions in the world, several thousand of these corrupt individuals had been burned and beheaded till the issues were finished, problems would have been solved. We will allow one or more parties to operate if they operate correctly. But we announce that the rest are forbidden. We will no longer allow the same freedom that we used to give, and we cannot allow these parties to continue their activities. According to religious law, we can't give them a grace period. Canonically, it is not correct to give a grace period. We made mistakes when we gave freedom; we can't treat these wild animals gently. We will no longer allow any of their writings to be distributed in the country. We will destroy all their writings. We have to deal with them harshly, and we will deal with them harshly. -- In a meeting with selected Members of Congress, Qom, August 18, 1979

Where are the negative political consequences for these Jihad-friendly Western politicians? Do they never pay the price? Are they never called to account?
The only reason Galloway is gonna take the fall is that he got his b-cup tits caught in that wringer called the Oil-for-Food Scandal. Otherwise, he'd still be standing clear, angrily barking his taquiyya at infidels unfortunate enough to be within earshot.

my sources inside iran inform me that most people secretly hate Ahmadinejad; but he is feared and with good reason. everyone inside the country knows of his past and secretly acknowledge it with regard to the hostages in the 70's.
he has a watchful goon squad that snuffs out the troublemakers. isreal is in grave danger and MUST act soon. there is no choice, no option, no deal to be made.
the "tut-tut" from the west will cost many, many lives needless. Bush is silent for good reasons but silence will not buy peace or very much time.
Ahmadinejad must be dealt with quickly or a very high price will be paid in innocent blood -- not only in isreal, and the west -- but also in iran.

The OIC supports Iran through a similar call on October 16, 2003:
“34. It cannot be that there is no other way. 1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews. There must be a way. And we can only find a way if we stop to think, to assess our weaknesses and our strength, to plan, to strategise and then to counter attack.......

Whether shiite or sunni they are the same muslims out to assert the supremacy of Islam. The Media like the NYT support this spread and are feted by the animals at CAIR etc.

Ergo, the only solution is to pitch 5them against each other which they are already doing and only require a little push.
And it is all right if they suffer high casualties in trying to reach the brothel in the sky.

When it comes to Israel, Shia and Sunni are the best of buddies, it is only when there is no Jew handy do they hate each other. I have a question for Witness' sources in Iran, "do they know the hell that mad man is about to bring down on them?" If he trys anything conventionaly the response will be terrible, if he trys with nukes, well they will reap what they sow. And as far as the West is concerned, just how many people do we allow this creature to take with him?

"The Sunnis Have Persecuted the Shi'ites [And] Declared Them Infidels, and Treat Them as Second-Class Citizens"
" America, at least, has always had the courage to acknowledge its mistakes. It admitted [its] crime of slavery against the blacks, and it took action, and continues to take action, to make amends for that historical crime. But the Sunnis have persecuted the Shi'ites, declared them infidels, and continue to treat them in their countries as second-class citizens. It seems that they are not making do with that, and have returned today to complete what they started in previous centuries.
"In the past they did not acknowledge their persecution of the Shi'ites – and here they are, in the 21st century, continuing their massacres and crimes against them, in full view of the world. Do these people not feel the shame and disgrace that shroud them?"

The multiple ironies of Islam:
I personally find it ironic that Muslim's want to follow God, but that at the same time they turn a blind eye to all the contradictions in the Qu'ran, Sharia and Dhimmitude etc.
There is only one God(YAHWEH)and the LORD God does not have any contradictions.
Here is just one example of how Muslims, who actually "walk the talk"(more commonly called radical Muslims), go AGAINST God's law.
"There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers." (1)
Muslim's, especially the ones who practice what they preach, match all six things.
One of many reasons why I believe that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran has two faces, and Muslims do not follow God is the following...
"Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me.
Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire.
He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him.
When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!
Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?
He who belongs to God hears what God says.
The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."" (2)
If Jihad Watch is truly dedicated to bringing public attention to the role that jihad theology and ideology plays in the modern world, then I trust that Robert Spencer will post this comment and not shy away from the truth.
P.S. Quotation (1) is Proverbs 6:16-19 and (2) is John 8:42-47

" I have a question for Witness' sources in Iran, "do they know the hell that mad man is about to bring down on them?"
Yes, and they are scared.
Moreover, the outcome of the sham election is not exactly what most iranians wanted -- the election according to them was stolen.
America has eyes and ears in the most interesting places.
as previously stated Isreal MUST act soon covertly or otherwise.
