French Muslims riot for seventh night running

The difference between the Reuters headline and mine epitomizes the difficulty the French have in facing the real dimensions of this problem. For it is ultimately not a problem of disaffected youth who just need jobs and money, but of youth who consider the French government a foreign power, and one that ultimately must be replaced by a very different kind of government. Bat Ye'or in Eurabia has demonstrated that the French for over 30 years now have allowed for massive immigration without making any move to assimilate the immigrants. Up until the hijab ban their Islamic identity was not only unchallenged but encouraged -- partly out of ignorance of how the Sharia impulse conflicts with the Western societal model of pluralism. Now they are reaping the fruit. "French youths riot for seventh night running," from Reuters, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

PARIS (Reuters) - Violence broke out in Paris suburbs for the seventh night running overnight on Thursday after French youths set fire to dozens of cars.

The continuing unrest compounds pressure on Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin's government, which has promised to restore order but is battling to paper over differences between ministers over the best way to tackle the unrest.

Youths went on the rampage in a total of nine areas in poor suburbs ringing the French capital to the north and the east, setting alight about 40 cars, two buses, and dustbins, a local authority official said.

Hundreds of police were deployed to control the disturbances, which also damaged a shopping centre in Bobigny, to the northeast of Paris, and to at least one primary school.

Unrest was first sparked in Clichy-sous-Bois last week after two teenagers were electrocuted while apparently fleeing police during a local disturbance.

It has since spread to other areas in the Parisian suburbs, forcing itself to the top of the government's agenda and prompting Villepin to cancel a trip to Canada on Wednesday.

Media attention on the unrest has been intense because it highlighted the bitter rivalry between Villepin and Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy ahead of 2007 presidential elections, particularly after Sarkozy called the protesting youths "scum"....

The opposition has seized on such signs of discord and accused the government of drift and of failing to tackle the underlying reasons for the riots.

The unrest in the northern and eastern suburbs, heavily populated by North African and black African minorities, have been fuelled by frustration among youths in the area over their failure to get jobs and recognition in French society.

Bad grammar - one of the seven signs of lying. These are such weasel words. 'Unrest', 'North African', 'frustration', 'youths'; where do you start?

Yet another example of the Zionist-controlled Western media deliberately overlooking the achievements of Islam. Even after a whole week of hard work purifying the degenerate cities of the Infidel, there's a hardly a mention of Islam to be found anywhere.

Ah, the demographic Muslim youth worldwide population explosion,

Aint it great !

The chickens come "home' to roost, sucka.

There is trouble in more than just Paris. Have you seen this?

The BBC observes, "As assets burned, France's politicians were struggling to find a formula to end the violence."

Formula: Land for Peace.

I bet the coffee tastes especially good in Tel Aviv this morning.

'French Muslims riot for seventh night running

Having said that, in the interest of accuracy only, how can I genuinely quote you as being factual?
This aparent lack of corroborative evidence is the first line I suggest that the apologists for Islam will take.

I wonder how long this will go on until there is a backlash. Jean-Marie Le Pen and his crowd already have the support of a substantial portion of the French population, perhaps as high as 20%. The anti-immigrant sentiment could skyrocket after this.

Hugh's post from more than a year ago seems especially timely (and prescient) right now.

Scaramouoche:
Thanks for the piece by Hugh.

Hugh: this has to be one of your most subtle yet brilliant and prescient pieces.

Prescience is what can help save us.

France, what you gonna do as the chickens come home to roost ?

Many thanks.

"A kindergarten, a gymnasium, government offices and hundreds of cars have been torched over the past week" ... from newswire

Don't suppose any mosques have been damaged, though.

Now the ignoble savages are shooting at the police. Dhimmi Chirac backed into a corner.

Did you notice what Reuters did?
They blamed blacks for this. Choosing
between appearing racist and critising
Islam, they made the choice.

Looking the positive side of the riots - at least it will keep Dominique de Villepein out of Canada, for a while at least.

Posted by: johnb [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 3, 2005 10:45 AM

Didn't the French at one point have a paramilitary police force to deal with riots, or am I thinking of something else? In any case, forget about the politicians mobilizing, what about the Army? Maybe the sight of armored vehicles would discourage the joy riders, and make the hardcore radicals easir to deal with. And who's laughing now? The French were among those who were gloating over the chaos after Hurrican Katrina. Well, after seven days us stupid, cowboy, warmongering redneck Americans had the situation under control. Yet the culturally superior French don't have a clue as to what to do. If that's culture and sophistication, they can keep it.

The french CRS are, because of plenty of practice, some of the finest riot police one can hope to find anywhere on the planet.

No riot to large, thats their motto. Only problem is the rioters aren't train drivers demanding a 25 hour week, this is intifada. For this you need tanks, drones and guided missiles.

We need Tsahal.

You're talking the CRS, and as Sebastien noted they are the baddest out there. They make an LAPD SWAT unit look like a bunch of woosies.

About 15 years ago, an in-law of mine, a mathematics professor at the Sorbonne, was doing her Marxist thing and rioting for socialism (as if that ideal hadn't already been attained in France).

Long story short, she picked up a stick and took a swing at a CRS tropper's head. He whacked her with his nightstick, fracturing her skull.

She has not done a single math problem since. Permanent disability.

PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH PBUH

The reason they haven't unleashed the CRS on the Moslems is becase Moslems are special.

Actually, vis johnb's comment about French politicians visiting Canada, what might smirking the late Lester Pearson or Pierre Trudeau would have enjoyed (following DeGaulle's Viva le Quebec Libre comment) had the two former Canadian PMs lived to see this?

Chaz MarteL 732:

When I was in Paris some time ago, there were the usual student demonstration, including in front of Notre Dame cathedral. I was very impressed with the riot police - i.e. they obviously didn't take any crap from the demonstrators. I thought we could use similar tactics here in Canada but I'm afraid it may offend the sensibilities of the the PC types.

I would seriously doubt that the Israelis are gloating about what is going on in France. They know that muslims are a constant threat to Jews everywhere, including in France. And some of us need to be reminded that the French did nothing to deserve this, other than elect leaders whose greed, hatred of America and Israel, and corruption, resulted in their deals with the devil. The French people have been lied to for 35 years, and are now coming to that realization.

Here's CNN with a poll:

And here's a mention finally of "a failure of a policy of massive and uncontrolled immigration"

The CRS can be clearly seen in the BBC video. They are reported to be using rubber bullets. The rioters are using real ones.

And this from the TimesOnLine.

Shots fired at Paris riot police

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,13509-1855955,00.html

The area was calmer last night than other neighbourhoods, but some youths said they planned to keep up their defiance. "We have found our thrills playing with riot police in the evening," one 22-year-old told the AFP news agency. "As long as the police come and provoke us in the evening, we’ll bring out the Molotov cocktails, stones, petanque balls, planks," he said.

When you burn down the places of employment it makes it harder to get work, especially if you are up all night roaming the streets. But, hey, they found their "thrills".

I can't believe how much the main stream media is ignoring this story.

I am reading the Boston Globe (I only buy it when I need to read their sports section) and deep on page 12 is a small picture showing the police and a burning car. There is no story, only a caption underneath that states "police patrolled in Clichy-sous-Bois after the seventh night of rioting by young people" YOUNG PEOPLE???

Right above this picture coincidently is a story about a shakeup in the Iranian government. It seems that about 40 diplomats and high officials have bee fired becausae they seek better ties with the West.

This new Iranian premier is a real Jihadist. He is a grade A whacko. They will develop nuclear weapons, trust me. They are simply snaking their way through the negotiations with the gullible Europeans in order to run out the clock. Within five years we will see a nuclear bomb detonated either against Israel (they have already stated they might do so) or some western city.

I hope the French really piss them off by cracking down on the rioters and not letting them wear their little burkas in school so they they blow up Paris and not NYC.

Doctor Phibes:

Apparently it has and it's spreading:

"Aulnay-Sous-Bois, France — Rampaging youths shot at police and firefighters Thursday after burning car dealerships and public buses and hurling rocks at commuter trains, as eight days of riots over poor conditions in Paris-area housing projects spread to 20 towns."

Wednesday night, violence triggered by the deaths had spread to at least 20 Paris-region towns, said Jean-Francois Cordet, the top government official for the Seine-Saint-Denis region north of Paris where the violence has been concentrated. He said youths in the region fired four shots at riot police and firefighters but caused no injuries."

Oh they are getting recognition now

Excuses, excuses, excuses, well I guess a serial killer can use the excuse that he was abused as a child, a rapist can use the excuse that he has an overload of testosterone.

Phug the excuses. Let's see if the French have any balls, wait.. they need Muslim oil, and they need
Muslim markets for their cars, nuclear power industry, their Mirage fighter planes and French Naval craft.

Nah, they'll back down and accomdate, too much money to be lost, too much potential profits to be made or lost from the Muslims.

Pssst, who do you think has built and sold the critical portions of Iran's Nuclear Reactor, and what construction companies actually built them.

What has France done to itself? In an effort to stand apart from the USA....France has taken positions adverse to the USA to project an independent image....right or wrong. Their equality argument was nothing more than Liberal politicians cultivating, pandering and padding voting rolls with immigrants. Ironic...France has spent the last 50 years trying to preserve their culture from the influence of the USA and globalization only to loose it from within. The arrogance of the French to believe that their utopian system could survive the inclusion of a culture that views the system they live under as so socially corrupt to their beliefs that they would die to change it is devastating to watch. There is no chance of the French culture surviving a Muslim government.

Mayor Alain Outreman tried to cool tempers.

"We are not going to start militias," he said. "You would have to be everywhere."
