In Toronto. It included a bomb expert. It Can't Happen Here Alert: "CSIS: terror cell busted," from the National Post, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
TORONTO - Canadian counter- terrorism investigators have dismantled a suspected terrorist cell in Toronto whose members included an al-Qaeda-trained explosives expert, the National Post has learned. The cell consisted of four Algerian refugee claimants who had lived in Canada for as long as six years and were alleged members of a radical Islamic terror faction called the Salafist Group for Call and Combat.
The central figure of the Toronto-area cell was a former al-Qaeda training camp instructor who studied bomb-making at Osama bin Laden's Al Farooq and Khaldun training camps in eastern Afghanistan.

I wondered if you would find this one. Here's the problem tho: from what I heard on 680 radio yesterday, three of these people were deported two years ago... and the Leader of this cell left the country on his own accord over a month ago!
Or so that is what they said yesterday.
I don't follow any news channels on tv, does anyone know what CBC had to say about this?

Thanks A. And... the devil. That doesn't even quite match what they said yesterday. Strange.

Gary:
I only listen to CBC Radio, but never catch TV.
Nada said about this story and the closest they get to explaining the rioting in France is to refer to the rioters as mainly "youths of North African descent". No doubt it's all those damned Sephardic Jews from Morocco and Algeria causing all the trouble.

Your Welcome Gary...
This Is Completely Off Topic, But Curious As To What Some Of Your Views Might Be As To This Link:
http://www.iran-daily.com/1384/2416/html/national.htm#s103086
Article Titled:
"Muslims Want Rightful Global Role"
Obviously, it's a propaganda tool, that I would dub:
"Goals of Jihad In The Guise Of Opression"...--->which can also be said in the case of the Ongoing Paris Riots.
My Interest In This Article Was The Almost Prophetic Feel That I Found To It...Very Frightening, But No Suprise.

The politically correct useless bodies at the CBC would only dance around the issue that these terrorists were probably brought in by Quebec's penchant for French Speaking immigrants - so Muslim, so from North Africa. - hey aren't these fools for Islam rioting in France now ?

I didn't hear anything about this either on CBC news. As for the Paris situation, CBC-TV News had a timely documentary last night. Please see my post under today's episode here of the "Fiery Riots" story.

Jen:
Thanks for the cue to check your comments on "Fiery". The CBC's notion of "balanced reporting" no doubt.
Too bad nobody at the CBC ever reads the Religious Policeman's blogsite. Execute the link and see what this ex-pat Saudi has to say about the rioters in France:

Here are some questions:
What will happen in Saudi Arabia and Iran when the oil runs out? That eventuality (imo) is not far away - perhaps 50 years.
What will happen to Turkey's application to join the UN after the riots in France and Denmark?
Why did China erect the Great Wall of China?
Why did Emperor Hadrian build Hadrian's wall?

Thanks for the link to the Religious Policeman. I spent a good while there and then linked to The Saudi Gazette where I read that "failure to get jobs or recognition" on the part of Muslim youths led to the Paris riots. Well - on the first two counts, failure to get a job, failure to get recognition, I've "been there -- done that" myself, but somehow I never felt like torching anything! Do you think there's maybe another factor at work in the Paris riots?
Tonight I'll watch CBC again to see if they can give us some real news.

I am sick and tired of hearing excuses every time Muslims dirty things up... While we placate these animals who destroy, they bring more and more into our countries, making an army behind closed doors... the WHOLE world has problems with Muslims, each time we pick up the paper there is more trouble.... We don't hear of the poor jobless Chinese, or poor jobless Italians etc doing damage in their adopted countries... you don't hear Chinese, Italians, Japanese etc gang raping the girls in their adopted country like is happening all throughout the world done my Muslim youths...
It is about time that our leaders read the many verses which tell of destroying us until the WHOLE world is for Allah... They have to remember that we are the enemy in the Quran, whether we are at war with them or not, so when Mohammad talked about going and slaughtering the enemy, the people he was going to raid, often didn't even have an argument with Mohammad thus didn't even know that he was coming to kill them... When Muslims say that they are at war with us, our stupid leaders think that they mean literal war only... From almost their beginnings, they have been at war against us (their enemy) to make the world for Allah, and if they have to use force to do it they will.. regardless of if we want peace or not...
