She had it coming, just like the rest of the infidel French. Did you know a man was murdered? Jean-Claude Irvoas, a 56-year old was driving around Epinay, a so-called 'quartier sensible', a 'sensitive area', in his car with his wife and daughter. When he stopped to take pictures of something his company had been working on he was beaten to death. And did anyone care? Of course not.

A friend warned them not to go into the electrical power sub-station. They didn't listen. They got fried. In a few days French Muslims will say they were lured inside by Zionists.

But was she doing something to humiliate the rioters? Her lack of moving off the bus quickly enough could be taken as a lack of respect for the jihadists. And I doubt that she had employed any Muslims recently. Did she try to integrate with the jihadists, by learning to speak Arabic or by wearing a burqa? She needs to take responsibility for the actions of the unemployed, humiliated, uneducated, and un-integrated Muslims.

I used to want moderate muslims, wherever they are, to be a loud voice. Now, I don't even care. If they want war, they will get it and Europe will be as irrational and over-reaching in prosecuting that war as they have been in their attempt to appease. That feels like a loss of humanity to me. Is there anyone else out there who was raised to love your neighbor as yourself who is starting to feel hate? That should be sad to the good people who happen to be Muslim but it seems even they only have protecting the name of Islam as their agenda.

In fact, the woman was pulled off of the bus by the bus driver and a passenger who decided to go back to save her once they realized she couldn't exit the bus alone. They went back into the burning bus to get her...she'd be dead otherwise.

Tokyobk - Unfortunatly you are not the only one who is starting to feel that way. I too am getting to the point where I don't believe that there is such a thing as a moderate muslim.

The self proclaimed moderate muslims need to take the next step and honestly question their religion, only after questioning it and hopefully having the courage to discard themselves of the cult called islam, can they no longer be a danger to the rest of the world.

I had a bittersweet reaction when reading this article. On the one hand, watching France reap the fruits of multicultural socialism is satisfying. Yet, despite the mess their ignorance has landed them in, I suppose France has some sort of place in Western Civilation, and you hate to see them burn.

I have a feeling this will not be a wake up call for them, however, like 9/11 or the London Sub Bombing. They'll probably become more entrenched in their foolish experiments, and then America and England will have to step in and die by the thousands as they drink wine and eat cheese.

It's going to be very interesting when the riots are finally quelled to view the actions of the French Government and the reaction of the French citizenry to their little wake up call.They have been sitting over there looking down their pompous damn noses at "our" problem while they have been sitting on a powder keg oblivious to the fact that the fuse was burning. They now must surly realize that they have the tiger by the tail. What they do from this point forward is certainly going to determine the future of France. I for one believe their choice will be capitulation, thereby forgoing what is likely their best chance to save their country. The reports I read suggest that she was singled out as a target to be doused in petrol, rather than just caught up on the burning bus with all the other pasengers. Good luck to the driver who got her out.

I doubt if the rioters took the time to find who she was before they torched her. Even if they did and suppose she answered that she was a Muslim, why would they belive her, they would probably think that she is trying to escape by calling herself a Muslim !

Therefore, either way it does not matter that she was a Muslim. And it does not weaken the anti-Jihadi or anti-French rioters case at all.

The question of whether she was a muslim or a non muslim is not the issue. The issue is that she was a woman, which in the eyes of muslims are no better than dogs, which in islam is pretty low.

Although the BBC report does refer to "muslim ghettos" they also refer to "African teenagers". Is this really fair to Africans? Would most people consider Algerians to be Africans? I think the BBC owes an apology to all Africans for this racist and bigoted smear.

Unrest in Paris Suburbs Enters Second Week

LE BLANC MESNIL, France -- Bands of youths roaming Parisian suburbs burned more than 500 vehicles and hurled stones at police as rioting - the nation's worst in a decade - entered it second week Friday and spread for the first time to other parts of France.

The violence prompted the U.S. and Russian governments to advise citizens visiting Paris to steer clear of its impoverished outlying neighborhoods, where authorities were struggling to regain control.

A savage assault this week on a bus passenger highlighted the dangers.

Attackers doused the woman, in her 50s and on crutches, with an inflammable liquid and set her afire as she tried to get off a bus in the suburb of Sevran, judicial officials said. The bus had been forced to stop because of burning objects in its path. She was rescued by the driver and hospitalized with severe burns.

Justice Minister Pascal Clement deplored the incident Friday, saying it caused him "great emotion."

With the unrest growing beyond the French capital, gangs burned five cars in the eastern city of Dijon and 11 in the southern city of Marseille.

A national police spokesman, Patrick Hamon, said there appeared to be no coordination among gangs in different areas. But he said youths in individual neighborhoods were communicating by cell phone text messages or e-mails - arranging meetings and warning each other about police operations.

The violence started Oct. 27 after the accidental electrocution of two teenagers who believed police were chasing them in the Seine-Saint-Denis region, dominated by low-income housing projects.

Since then riots have swelled into a broader challenge against the French state and its security forces. The violence has exposed deep discontent in neighborhoods where African and Muslim immigrants and their French-born children are trapped by poverty, unemployment, racial discrimination, crime, poor education and housing.

Across the Paris region, the burned remains of at least 520 cars littered streets, an increase from previous nights. Five police officers were lightly injured by youths throwing stones or bottles, the Interior Ministry said.

At a depot in Trappes, to the southwest, 27 buses were incinerated, officials said.

There were "few direct clashes" with security forces late Thursday and early Friday, however, no bullets fired at police, and far fewer large groups of rioters, said Jean-Francois Cordet, the top government official in Seine-Saint-Denis.

Instead, Cordet said, the unrest in Seine-Saint-Denis was led by "numerous small and highly mobile groups" that burned 187 vehicles and five buildings, including three warehouses.

The commuter train line linking Paris to Charles de Gaulle airport ran limited service Friday after two trains were targeted Wednesday night.

The U.S. Embassy called the protests "extremely violent" and warned travelers against taking trains to the airport because they pass through the troubled area.

The Foreign Ministry said it was concerned that foreign media coverage was exaggerating the situation. "I don't have the feeling that foreign tourists in Paris are in any way placed in danger by these events," ministry spokesman Jean-Baptiste Mattei said, adding that officials were "sometimes a bit surprised" by the foreign coverage.

Still, the violence has alarmed the government of President Jacques Chirac, whose calls for calm have gone unheeded.

"This is the first time (suburban violence) has lasted so long and the government appears taken aback at the magnitude," said Pascal Perrineau, director of the Center for Study of French Political Life.

The unrest erupted with youths angered over the deaths of Bouna Traore, 15, and Zyed Benna, 17, who were electrocuted when they hid in a power substation in the suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois.

Traore's brother, Siyakah Traore, called for protesters to "calm down and stop ransacking everything."

"This is not how we are going to have our voices heard," he told RTL radio, adding his voice to neighborhood groups working to stop the violence.

Dozens of residents and community leaders were stepping in to defuse tensions, with some walking between rioters and police to urge youths to back down.

Abderrhamane Bouhout, head of the Bilal mosque in Clichy-sous-Bois, said he had enlisted 50 youths to try stop the violence. "We've had positive results," he said.

Any serious action by CRS or other officially sanctioned French agents will earn the enmity of all muslims everywhere. Of course there could be stateless rogue agents ... you know, like hamas, composed of irate 'citizens' (gosh, we have no control over those people).....who could start selectively taking some of the more flagrantly hostile imams and organizers off the roster ..... they might eventually get the message.

I'd say they waited WAY to long. It's not allowed for the police to stop crime in THEIR neighborhood.

SICK AND TIRED

I am sick and tired of muslim aggression. The muslims are aggressively supressing my life, liberty and pursuit of my happiness because of their 'religion'.

Because of the muslims, my son cannot enjoy a Christmas party at school. Because of the muslims, my son cannot join hands in celebration of Hanuka. Because of the muslims, my son can no longer say the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. Because of the muslims, there can be no Easter baskets or any semblence of recognition of Good Friday or Easter Sunday.... All of this was outlawed today by way of CAIR and the Hillsborough County School District.

There will be no Halloween. There will be no Roshasana... there will be no New Years celebration... No Yom Kippur. There will be no Thanksgiving celebration. There will be no Valentine's Day.

I really am thankful that the muslims came here to liberate all of us. /sarc!!!!

I imagine that there are millions who feel the same way I do. The muslim 'religion' is not worth my time anymore... I'm tired of it. I'm sick of it. I'd bet that there are billions of non-muslims that agree with me..

Only, it isn't PC to say so...

We just need to focus on the seething muslims and do what they want, how they want, where they want, when they want. Hitler would have thrived, tremendously, in this current PC world.

Friday's 20h news on France2 online. I saw it though in print on their site earlier today and its since been removed, revised or buried. (I didn't see it when I just looked in any case) They say on the link above that it was the driver alone who saved her. And there are of course images of the bus, etc.

I suggest that you get together with some other like-minded parents. Pick a day to celebrate. Christmas might be a good choice. Make a pact to keep all of your children out of school that day. Arrange for a party, nativity play, songs, whatever. All in a safe place, maybe a rented hall. As your plan takes shape, appoint a spokesperson. All public statements must go through that person. Appoint a person or two to meet with the Administration. Tell the administration that all of you expect the teachers and administrators to allow the children to make up their classwork and homework for whatever day the kids take off. Quietly, invite the teachers to take a day off. Don't try to convince them to attend, as they might be putting their jobs on the line, but they can call in sick or take a vacation day. Their substitutes can't catch up enough in one day to make a difference.
If enough parents do this, even in one grade, it will force the administration's hand. If the administration gives you crap, go to the press. If the press gives you crap, go to the legislature. If the legislature gives you crap, go to the polls. Vote the bastards out of office. Make noise. Make more noise. There is power in numbers. You must learn to use it. Organize now. Tomorrow will be too late.

You will flee in horror from all those Jews and terrible "Christians" and then, well, Hillary & Company (or can take over. They will talk the usual good talk of Equality and Fairness and Peace and Love and Tolerance and, of course, any thinking person knows it's a lotta horseshit. Your second amendment rights aren't going to last six months, no matter how good a shot you are. When the Democrats pass a law requiring you ro register your guns, are you going to comply? (Forget the "yellow form" from BATF.)

In the end, it doesn't matter whether you like, love, or hate George Bush. What matters is we have a war on our hands, and we need visionary leaders at ALL levels. Your experience in the last war (or the one before that) might be instructive, but it is not definitive. We are not fighting VietNam, Grenada, Gulf I or Gulf II (yeah, that's right, Gulf II is just a theater). This is a World War, and the left doesn't have any answers. Their only tool is called multiculturalism, and to the man whose only tool is multiculturalism, the whole world looks like a place for more tolerance.

So, exactly what would you have everybody do differently? If you are a leader on some level, then please tell us what we should do, at that level. What should our attitude be with respect to islam? What should we expect our politicians to do about mosques being built with foreign money? Exactly what accommodations, if any, should we be expected to make so as not to offend muslims? Should we continue foreign aid to Egypt? Syria? Palestine? Should John Kerry be appointed to a serious post? Should we sell munitions to Israel?

And, also, tell me how you plan to reach across the isle and welcome Christians, and Jews, and nationalists, and communists, and right-wingers, and, well, whatever groups you abjure, abhor and demonize.

They might not have said it on the news; but they have an article stating such online. Here is an excerpt:

"Des jeunes ont alors lancé une bouteille d'essence enflammée dans le bus.
